Candy Crush Saga Level 1340

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1340 Candy Crush Saga without boosters.
Level 1340 is not a particularly hard level, the spawner only shoots out marmalade, which will not eat your colour bombs, so once uncovered they can be used to remove some of the bombs.
You will need to remove the spawner as it has jelly under it, but the bombs are a priority as they will kill the game faster than the spawner.
Once you have the bombs under control it's a simple matter to clear the jelly and complete the game.

Really enjoyed this episode. Used very few boosters compared to the last episode.
Also finished in one day. Back to Candy Crush Soda until next Wednesday.

Started with a sprinkle booster which happened to fall alongside another one which took out all of the bombs & the rest was easy...2 tries. Now I can accumulate sugar drops until next episode appears on Wednesday. NC

WARNIING- for those trying to save boosters.

Very sneakily, on some sugar drop levels (and perhaps others) Saga has started automatically checking boosters before you play, which you might think were free. They are not, so if you're not planning on using them, look and uncheck before you play.

Even though I posted the above warning, I forgot to check. I was on a non-sugar drop level and Saga's doing it on those levels too. Very sneaky.

Sorry, it's been a long week, and I meant King, not Saga.

I've posted warnings regarding this three times before today. It's every booster you win whether it's on sugar drops or the free wheel booster. After every booster you win it is automatically checked to use. So, always check before you play a level.

Well after complaining about this level on the previous one, I got it second try. Managed to get 2 colour bombs together twice which cleared the board pretty much. And yes they are very sneaky about checking the boosters, mind you I was happy to have the fish on 1339. I have over 200 so I wasn't worried about using one, and it certainly helped! Back to the sugar drops! Good luck everyone, mind you if you've gotten this far, you certainly don't need it! Lol.

Yikes...don't like bombs!

I' ve just done it after a number of frustrating tries - I hate bombs, too. I had to use two lollipops - one to kill a one count bomb, the other for the final jelly. On to the next episode!

Android user here and my level's bombs only have a 10 move timer, not 14 like the video. I've played it several times and the bombs got me every time. Frustrating to have to want for the update

I hate bombs. And mine our also 10 count bombs. I have no idea how you could possibly have two sprinkle balls together. You can add one and the rest are covered. Spend all my moves killing bombs and I have to deal with the ridiculous spawner as well. I have no idea how anyone could have found this level/segment fun. I do notice the people who said that played in November. Posting for luck.

I am playing on iPad, bombs have a count of only 10 , and only 15 moves. Not got past bombs as yet

Noone cares

Finished with one move left. Clear the chocolate bombs and explode them straight away. Then the spawner exploded clearing the last jelly.

I hate those bombs too. Hoping for some sprinkles next to each other to nail it.

The key is to to create a three on the left side of the board right against the jelly. Do this on your first move. Reset your game until you get this setup. This allows the board to open up. Also... Might work on the right side too... But for me that was the money spot. Got down to 1 jelly twice with this strategy then finally beat it on the third try.

Maybe everyone had such an easy time with this level because they started off with 25 moves. I only seem to have 15, and the bombs start off at 10, not 14. Not so easy.

Could you update the video for the 15 move version?

So how am I supposed to win this level with only 15 moves pray tell??!!! This is ridiculous! You can't even clear half the bombs with 15 moves let alone the middle jelly. This may be my last game on candy crush and I'll spend all my time doing something productive. This sucks!

Okay so what is "create a three on the left side of the board up next to the jelly?" Also, anyone else finish this level with 15 moves and 10 move bombs? How is that even possible? And how do you reset the board? I'm not understanding this.

I just finished the level with 5 moves to spare. 15 moves with 10 move bombs. How did I do it? The lucky board of course!!! All of a sudden sprinkle balls kept falling and then there was a trickle down effect. Pretty much cleared itself up. Just have to wait for the lucky board.

got the spinner but killed by the bombs...waiting for the lucky board

This is not even rated as a hard level!!! How lucky do you have to get to pass this? I am finding the level very frustrating. Luckily not wasting too much time, as I don't get past 10 moves

Anonymous said...

Not sure what game the video is playing they made a comment that once uncovered spinners would not marmalade color bombs not in my game had them covered a bunch of times then wasted moves trying to uncover them again

Anonymous said...

Also noticed in video get 25 moves I only get 15 wtf? This total bs

Just played 1340 a few times so far but I can see a tough road with only 15 moves and 10 ct bombs...
I've tried the three against the cream and it opened up a couple of times but not alll... I've wasted two extra moves
sent by friends but I'll beat it... I might have to hunt some sugar to get a booster or two but you do what you gotta do...

I had to use a hand switch to put two color bombs together and that blew up the spawner thankfully but still had to use a lollipop hammer on the last jelly. Seems like it's rare now that I can get through one without boosters.

After trying this level a couple of times I found myself yet again turning to this page for help. The create a 3 definetly helped me. 4 goes later and I got through the level. 15 moves, 10 count bombs version. Once I got to level 1000 I just move straight on to the next episode, no waiting 3 days for me :)

Now the spawners do recover the sprinkle cake balls and the fish do not attack the bombs. Bummer.

What is “create a three” etc

I also do not know what “create a three” is supposed to mean.
