Candy Crush Saga Level 1440

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1440 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Allina Rumfelt
The board for level 1440 is 4 ,  4x4 sections with conveyor belts and portals.   It is a clear the jelly level with 64 double jelly squares. Which means you have 21 moves to get 128 jellies .... oh wait , there is one double hitter in the center so 130 jellies in 21 moves.
As if that isn't tough enough, as you start clearing the jelly,  you get 10 count bombs to deal with too.  Your luck factor will depend on what the mystery candies give you- if you're lucky , you will get fish/stripes/wraps/bombs/coconut wheels etc.  If unlucky - chocolate/blockers etc.  Concentrate on the bombs until their move count exceeds your remaining moves. If you get a chocolate bomb - hit the center piece.  Try to mix your fish gifts with stripes and/or wraps.  Biggest issue I had with this board was the bombs. Good luck !

I passed on my second try with a lucky board. Combined a Chocolate Sprinkle with a fish, and combined a wrap/stripe to take out the center candy.

Difficult however got it in 5 lives! Close but yes have to use each special candy wisely

Got this on my 2nd try, two moves left, used a fish booster. I have 190 fish from sugar drops that I hardly ever use. Anyways, the fish along with the mystery candies made it easy to keep the bombs under control.

Got this first try. Decided to start with a fish booster as I have over 200. It appeared once to be matched with a stripe and that started clearing the board. Tried to make combos but not too successful. Had to use 2 hammers at the end for the last jellies as I wasn't sure I wanted to do this one again. I did try it again after getting through and both times I didn't even get close. As I have often commented I always think the first board is the luckiest when you start a level. Anyway only one star, but on we go. Good luck everyone!

I tried the fish a few times but found that they did not go for the difficult middle one so it's a waste to use them when you don't have 200 saved up. :-) Have not come close the even worrying about the middle one as the bombs are getting me. Grace from DU

Again found it easier on Pc combinations form more readily. Keep an eye on the bombs.

I cleared every jelly on the board, and it still said I needed one more jelly...

I also cleared all the jelly TWICE, and it still says I needed one more jelly. I am positive I cleared them all!

I learned a great trick here: if you think you've cleared all the jelly but it tells you that you still have one then click on the hand switch or the lollipop and it lights up the background so the remaining jelly is easy to see. Once you see it then click on the hand/lolly again to cancel it.

And yet another that is sooo reliant on getting a good board.....Zero skill, 99.9%luck :(

Another 20 attempts and still no luck, even used up my stash of 4 fish...kept getting blocked by booster candy that changed into choc, it just keeps turning to shit...this is only going to happen when the CC gods decide so fingers crossed it wont take forever. I refuse to pay for anymore boosters, I will quit the game first.

Like two previous posters I cleared all the jelly but it still said I needed one more. I used SuzieQ's suggestion and clicked on the Hammer. The board lit up but did NOT show any jelly left to clear.
I play on PC and have no other device to switch to. If there is a glitch in this level then my days with CC have come to an end.

This is a sucky level and depends on a lucky board. It took a few tries but was able to use a sprinkle on the color of the square in the middle. Eventually I had another sprinkle that I was able to use with a stripe. I found that the fish that was released was too stupid to even take out a times square that was about to explode on a previous turn. Anyway, I had one square left and one move left and finally realized that it was the middle square, so I used my lollipop hammer to take it out, so success finally! Good luck!

this is a matter of a lucky board.. if you are lucky enough to get a candy bomb use it to blast the center .. also wrap and stripe combos work if you are near the center to wipe that out also.. somehow i got a smart fish too. many tries but done .. no boosters .yay
