Candy Crush Saga Level 1548

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1548 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
As with all levels that have mystery candies there is an element of luck involved in passing level 1548.
If you get chocolate from the mysteries, which I do regularly, you may want to consider quitting and start again. But anything else is workable, even licorice and bombs.
You will need to clear the whole board as there is jelly under most of the blockers, but also once the bottom cream blockers are cleared it's easier to make combos to hit the mystery candies in the top.
Every time you use the mystery candies, or the specials you get from them, more will fall down so the top square will always have some kind of special candy in it to keep hitting the popcorn.
Use the conveyor to get combos together or to make special candies and all the time you want to be thinking about hitting the top square and see what you can get from the mystery candies.
You don't need many moves to clear the popcorn and collect the jelly, so don't worry if you are down to the last few moves and it's still there. A wrapped candy will hit the popcorn twice with just one move and once you have the colour bomb you can switch it with another special and hopefully complete the game.

This is another board that makes you ask "Does King actually try this board before they give it to us?" If you are lucky enough to hit any of the mystery candy, usually not until there are three or four moves left, you will get a high percentage of bad candies. Chocolate, 5-layer meringue, marmalade, and 5-move bombs. No possible way to overcome those things. Guess I'll wait for that lucky board, but it's going to have to be REAL lucky.....

I agree with the comments above have played this level until I am sick of it .I am starting to think I should do like most of my friends and stop playing CC all together to many of the levels are like this one total bull shit the fun is missing.

Gawd luck only..managed to hit top with a few moves left exposing two choc bombs next to each other and cleared board with one move. Till that point my mysteries were awful when I managed to hit them.. took about 25 tries..good luck

This level is very frustrating.
Not nearly enough moves. And Ive thrown every booster at it.

Hi all. Got this one luckily and Im not sure how. Thankfully I got a wrap in the tooe middle and was able to set it off to clear that area.

Good for that as I coulda seen this level as a long lasting level. Yucky...

Cant agree more Sharon..

Obviously the top three posts are a troll. You can tell by the grammar.

Who cares??? It is a game. Why is everyone so hung up on it?? Post anonymous if it is an issue. Do you think anyone really gives a hoot if Doug from NC beat level 1231 with 5 moves left??

You folks need to get over yourselves, us folks come for tips, not to see how Fred did on level 964. Jeez.

Yet another horrible level. King is taking the fun out of the game with levels as boring and frustrating as these, and many people who loved the game have stopped playing altogether. Shame.

Third attempt, need to activtate the mystery candy in the centre box then luck to get all the remaining jelly.

Cant agree more.

King has ruined the game for me. Ive spent over 300$ just to pass the last few episodes.

They are making the game too hard. Sigh...

I used all 3 boosters and got it on the second try using a hammer for the final jelly! YAY, glad to be done with this one! Good luck, everyone!

Anonymous said...

Thanks, Melanie! First time, I started with all three boosters, needed to buy 5 more moves and finished it up with the hammer. After reading the comments, I figured it was worth spending nine gold bars. Carol from GA

Absurd level for me...😕

Yes, if you have them use all three boosters. Reset until you have sprinkle next to stripe the same color as two of the mystery candies. Finished with 16 moves left. JS

I can't understand why people get irate...its a game!!! I have never bought any boosters ever and still managed to get this far. Yes there are boards that take ages to clear but I see it as a challenge and certainly doesn't bother me enough to threaten to quit!

Anonymous said...

To all who complain and threaten to quit, do so now for the next level is even worse!

I found this level really fun (though I hesitate to say it because when you don't get a good board, the fun quickly goes out of it). Hang in there - it can be done!

Used a fish booster and got it first try on my kindle fire. Not nearly as successful on pc.

Totally agree!

Candy Crush is a HUGE money maker bringing in millions from those that will pay to play in order to pass these levels. I have gotten this far without spending a dime. They have taken the strategy out of the game and made it a game of lucky boards. When I first started playing this game, the only way to get boosters was the daily spin whereas now various free stuff will popup from time to time. This has become a game of patience and you will win when the game decides it is time for a lucky board.

So maybe I got 2 lucky boards in a row??? I always try at least a couple of times without boosters on every level regardless of the comments because you never know if that lucky one is waiting for you. I was able to make a striped candy on the conveyor belt and then a wrap on another section of the bottom and I could see that they would eventually pass one another if I could avoid setting either one of them off before hand. There were matches of three that I could make away from the wrapped candy while I was waiting the 5 or 6 moves so that I could swap them together. Once I did that the mystery candies on the top cleared all but one jelly. It took until my next to last move to get a striped candy in position to hit the top again (and I would have used a hammer on it if that hadn't been in place!) but that set the other mystery candies off and took out the last jelly. I played this again just to see what would happen and got pretty much the same results. I finished again with 3 stars on my very last play. So it's definitely doable if the candy gods are with you I guess. I hope this helps someone or at least gives them some hope that this can be beaten.

OK, here's the way to beat this level.
1. Load up with a colour bomb and the wrap/stripe combo.
2. Reset until the colour bomb and wrap are next to each other (ensuring that the wrap matches colours in the top box).
3. Activate!
4. Clear up with many moves to spare.

I agree with Charlie, but I didn't use the boosters, just lucked out and found myself with a color bomb and a wrap. As long as you have two of that color around the popcorn, it will take care of it. Of course one of my special candy ended up being a five count bomb, but I was able to finish up with all the jellys before it went off.

Hint: concentrate any possible moves on the lower center frosted things. I managed to get center free soon, had a stipe to reveal a wrap and stipe next to each other in the top box. Easy from there with fish freed and 10 moves left on 3rd try. Yes, you need lucky boards, but I usually get through a level in 1-3 days with our free daily spin, and other freebies. I don't spend any time just playing to collect sugar rewards.

For the poster who wanted to know how to reset...once you pull up the game, but before you play even one move, you can go back and restart your game. On my kindle fire, I can tap on a left arrow that brings me back one page, basically to reload the game...I imagine it is slightly different for every device. Hope this helps!

First time for me to post here, and most of you are 5 months ahead of me and probably will not read this.
After several tries when all the misteries were turned to blockers leaving me no chance to win, I decided to use color bomb booster.
First try didn't help, forced to use it on simple candy (no other move available), second try, reset few times and get strip move near the color bomb.
So, first move - create strip candy.
Second - swich color/strip, all mistery were goodies!
Third - had to choose between color/strip or strip/wrap in the small squere, took the color/strip.
Fourth move- strip/wrap in the small squere - poof, all cleard, done, 220k after 4 moves with 18 moves to spare.

Whom cared about gremmeer! If you cannot provide help but criticism Stay Away from this website. You ARE the troll!!! People come here for assistance. Be nice.

I played many times without boosters and was getting nowhere. I was getting sick of this level so I used all three and reset until choc. sprinkle was next to a wrap. There were two of the same color in the box at top and that exploded everything nicely leaving me with choc. sprinkle and stripe and that finished the whole thing. Fish booster was not needed.

Seeing the comments and Trying this level phhhhh, seems CC is not so creative! They have to stop us cause otherwise they have no time to make new levels, haha! Meanwhile everyone stop playing it cause its so boring playing levels over and over again, haha, CC take your time, in the future you have time enough!

yep, another horrid one...not much skill or fun in this game anymore, still waiting for a decent board :(

Anonymous said...

I won the game on the first try. Chocolate bomb/wrap combo, with a wrap that matched one of the candies in the center square. Finished with three stars and sixteen moves left. For every game, I determine what opening move will give me the greatest advantage and I quit and restart as many times as it takes to get the best possible starting board. People are threatening to quit over games I find easy because I got the right starting board. Using this strategy, I often win six or seven games in a row on the first try and have won at least 4 games in a single move. I get more than enough free boosters. Don't quit, just get the right starting board.

$300.00 on ONE game??....They have more money than brains!.....

I am also ready to move on. They don't even call this a "hard level" yet have used every booster I had. 2 days of frustration. Also it has switched to fake players, not my friends, unable to request lives! Have not received a life in over a week. Needless to say it takes less than 5 minutes to lose every life than need to wait over an hour to 0lay again!! Time to seriously move on to different game.
