Candy Crush Saga Level 1587

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1587 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Allina Rumfelt
Level 1587 Candy Crush Saga is the second "hard" level in this episode.  You get 42 moves to collect 6 ingredients.  There are two ingredient dispensers - one on the far left column and one on the far right column.  At the bottom of those columns are entry portals ( white puddles ) .  Those  will transport the ingredients to exit portals (pink puddles)  in the center of the board.
The portal on the left side transports to the exit portal on the right side and the portal on the right hand side transfers to the exit portal on the left side.
Work on destroying the 2 hit blocker that is blocking the path to the portal.  Once the ingredient is "sitting" on the entry portal, make moves in the exit portals path and the ingredient will drop down.  If you do a big combo (color bomb/stripe , stripe/wrap) when an ingredient is sitting on the portal, it could slip down to an exit or get stuck in the dead space.  You have to clear one ingredient to get one to drop and there is a max of only 2 on the board at one time.
Hand switches are a good booster to use if you find you are having a hard time working with the portals or your ingredient gets "stuck".  But if you can figure out how to move the ingredients through the portal paths and off the board as quickly as possible you can make it through this level.  Make sure not to block the exits with Frog if you use him.  He came in quite handy for hitting those blockers down near the exit arrows.

I found this a VERY difficult level. I knew perfectly well how to move the ingredients, but usually the moves were just not there.

interesting level however the fish are useless, they don't target the jelly at all...makes it all the more difficult.

Anonymous said...

Very frustrating level. Fishes are nasty and they eat your good candies like color bombs that you get by chance. I finished it but I used what was left of my boosters to do so (hands and lollipops). That's sad when you have to do that, I know.

Lucia said...

Yes, the fish are useless. And it is NOT easy to keep the ingredients from slipping out of the right or left column. I found the frog useful to block either bottom square that is not an exit sometimes.

I did do this level without boosters eventually, but it is MUCH harder than the tips make it sound.

Anonymous said...

The thing that I fund very frustrating is the discrepancy between the middle and edge columns. When I detonate 3 candies in the middle, I'm lucky if the ingredient in the edge column moves down 1 space. Usually when you detonate 3, it creates a 3 block space, and everything moves down 3. I have yet to get anywhere near even seeing all the ingredients get onto the board, because the first ones take so long to move down.

Anonymous said...

I am as puzzled as the poster above with the ingredients only dropping one square at a time, even when three were removed from the middle column. Very frustrating level.

I used a coconut wheel from my stash. It still took several tries. I kept resetting the board till the coco wheel was placed so I could knock out one hit under the top blockers. I was on my way a few times but ran out of moves till I finally was able to get all of the ingredients down. Not a fun level at all.

Anonymous said...

Horrid, horrid level. I finally managed to get one ingredient through. How can you get six?

didueverdoubtme said...

Took 4 tries...last 2 with a coconut wheel which did the trick..without it I know I would still be there..funny how this level was marked hard..2 b4 this was worse

Cat said...

Took many tries without boosters just to see. Ended up using a hand switch to move the fruit which had fallen in the bottom farthest left spot, from which it can't be moved, as far as I can tell. Should have done as Lucia did, and used the frog to block that square. Good luck.

It must be my lucky day. I hit the jackpot for the first time ever, and then completed this on the first try.

Nice job oldtimer!

Been on this level to long now and got nowhere near I think it's time to go as no lucky board yet

Have been stuck on this one for about a week. I am beginning to put this level at the top of my 'worst' list.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Took numerous attempts before completing with 2 stars and a handful of moves remaining. Had trouble with the fruit falling or moving into one of the center columns. Those games were useless since it took far too many moves in a limited space to clear the heavy cream blockers and allow the fruit to pass.
Also what is up with the fish? 1st time I recall a booster being put on a board for no reason.

Well this is weird.
I got a treasure chest sitting on this level blocking me from playing.

Am I the only one with a frog on the screen. No one has addressed the frog. Shall I infer from this that it is to be ignored?

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the tip about moving the frog to the bottom corner! Failed numerous times on the phone but then tried on the computer and voila! Managed to get a lucky board, moved the frog and made lots of wraps, stripes and combos and scored a few choc bombs to clear the annoying colours. Passed with 2 stars, no boosters! Thanks again! Another mind-numbingly boring "hard" level by King. This is getting ridiculous! This might be the one that does me in.

Anonymous said...

Absolutely stupid level. F U King!

Anonymous said...

I have used up all my boosters and most of my lives. I don't even come close. I just can't do these levels anymore. Don't even feel like getting bonus boosters either. Fun is leaving me. Maybe time to hang it up. Does anyone play another fun game?

Unknown said...

Still on it van5, absolutely HATING it. I've only got about an hour left to open the treasure chests. 😩

The most horrible level is this for me in the whole of cc. Spent everything Finally got through coconut wheel and springle. Enough.

Unknown said...

Ugggggggg! 😝

Anonymous said...

Used the coconut wheel booster and got quite a few of them in helpful spots on the board. Passed the level on my second use of this booster but did have to use a hand switch as well to move an ingredient from a stuck spot. Got lots of combos this time so maybe my lucky board finally.

To crushed, tap on the treasure chest for the treasure, and then this will allow you to move onto the next level.

This is ridiculous! I have had all the blockers cleared and making the moves under the right portals but have never had all the fruit come into play. Sucks !

Days and days on this one!!

I am here looking for advice and see nothing but complaints, do you realize this is an advice page?? Oh well, and for those that say, this might be the end, you know you are lying! You don't come this far to quit!! Jerks! Oh well I guess I will just carry on my own!

Anonymous said...

Oh the irony :D

Jennifer said...

As everyone else has said - this level is impossible, the fish are useless. I can very easily blow through my 42 moves just trying to clear the cream blockers and never get even on ingredient down. I too am frustrated that you can clear three candies in the middle, but the ingredients on the side will only fall one space. And the dead space constantly sucks in my ingredients, no matter how careful I am. This is another level which King has marked as "Hard" when it should be marked as "Impossible".

Anon said...

Never manage to get all the fruits down. Insane! Used booster this time but the last 2 fruits appeared with only 6 moves left. Impossible.

Anonymous said...

Hi, Snowgoose here. First try to clear the chocolate then work on one side to clear the blocker. As soon as the frog is full, jump him to the dead space on the other side. The blogger wrote that only one ingredient appears at any one time. That wasn't the case for me, but I tried to get the fruit to appear on one side only. Once the frog was in the dead space I thought it would be out of play, but surprisingly it filled up really quickly. I waited until an ingredient appeared on the 'wrong' side, that is, the unprotected side, and jumped the frog across to the other dead space. That seemed to work. The remaining blocker had been attacked by the cascade effect by then and was easy to clear. You might still need to lose a few lives doing it this way, but it definitely helps. Good luck everyone!

Shay said...

I wish the fish would actually hit something useful? They're just a distraction.. I just started this level

onlylisa said...

I hated this level more than any other. Chocolate, useless fish, too many ingredient trapping ledges, a fairly useless frog, marmalade, multiple blockers - some in hard to reach places, ingredients dropping only few at a time AND too few moves to tackle the lot!

I suggest you save lollipops, hand switch gloves and gold bars for extra moves because this level is extremely difficult

Anonymous said...

Yea really difficult level. I got through after about 6 times but...helped by the tip of using coconut wheel and also used some switch hands. Otherwise it would have been hopeless I think. I keep collecting boosters by going back to 1476 and 1488. These levels can often not be done without boosters. And...I love a really good whine from the other posters. Makes me feel less alone in my CC misery. :-) Grace from DU

Anonymous said...

I have been on this level for over a week. Its driving me insane, I cant get anywhere close to finishing I think the lucky board must have forgotten me. I have used all my boosters I have tried all the tips it is just boring. As previous candy crushers have commented the fish are a waste of time and tend to take out my boosters. The frog is useless and when I can get a fruit etc down the frog then explodes and puts the fruit in a position where I then cannot remove it. This is not really a game anymore, not fun and very annoying. Makes me wonder why I bother.

Lucky me said...

Fairly horrible level, I think it takes a while to get your head around how the ingredients need to move. Lots of vertical stripes needed and I used coconut wheel about 6 times as I had lots, before finally getting a good board.

LynnR said...

A couple of color bombs matched with wrapped candies were incredibly helpful for getting some the fruits down through the exits and having plenty of moves left to work on getting the rest of them through.

Anonymous said...

Only been able to clear cream at top or bottom, never both using limited moves. Never have gotten all the fruit in play, what does it take for it to fall? Need a miracle board.

Anonymous said...

The CC gods finally smiled on me. Used my last coconut wheel and they just kept popping up and still ended up using one hand swap and one lollipop. I've played for days and first time ever to have all the fruit in play. Don't give up, your board will come. So sad, but this made my day - lol.

Anonymous said...

I have been using my iPad, stuck on this level for days with nothing even close to a win, thinking the only hope was to accumulate so many boosters and gold that I could cheat my way through. I decided to test my luck on my PC, and scored a win using one hammer and one extra turn. Whew! Switching to the PC did the trick for me one other time. So strange.

sprocket2 said...

OMG! I passed it! It took about 50 lives. First I tried it many times without boosters, then I tried coconut wheels, and wheel/color ball matches from my booster supply. After going through a bunch of my boosters I spent a couple of days collecting some more sugar drops and came back to try again. Again I played a bunch of times without boosters (I found that my boosters created cascades that ended up either not helping at all or somehow getting the fruit to slide into the dead spots). I learned to just quit the game if I didn't have at least 20 moves left and 2 fruits down I didn't have a chance.

I was really confused about how and when the fruit finally appeared and I ope the following helps someone: The fruits fall one at a time in sets of two and you have to get those out before the next set will start to fall. The very last fruit will not fall out until the one before it has exited the bottom port. Sometimes 2 fruits will fall from the same dispenser. Most of the time I found they fell on opposite sides. You have to clear the cream blockers at the top and the marmalade on the bottom. You don't have to clear the cream on the bottom even though it's blocking one of the exits on each side. The fruit will slide around it and out the exit next to it if it's open. It's also frustrating that the fruit doesn't always follow the same pattern after it drops out of the white puddle. Sometimes it slides down around the bend at the bottom and then over to the exit segment. Sometimes after it drops from the white exit it will appear at the top of the column directly over the one of the bottom exit portals. You have to make moves in the center part of the board to get the fruit to fall out of the white thing. You also don't have to waste moves growing the frog (but you do need to get rid of the chocolate asap). In my last, and finally successful, attempt I used the frog after it puffed up once to create movement to get a fruit out of the white exit but the second time it puffed up I didn't want to waste a move moving it and it wasn't in my way so I left it alone. What I did was use the hammers I'd been collecting to move the fruit out of the bottom portals. I didn't start with any boosters but I used a total of six hammers (I had more of them then hand switches) to smash candy that was in the way of fruit exiting the bottom. I found that I just couldn't waste a ton of moves trying to make special candies - stripe/wrap combos are a great help if you can make then - if I needed to get a fruit to exit. And when I got the first two fruits out and still had 27 moves left I knew I had a chance at getting done with this level so it was 'hammers to the rescue'.

Wow this is detailed and accurate ! Thanks sprocket.Tip about not necessary to clear bottom blockers very very helpful !!Thanks

Anonymous said...

Over it and CC as a whole. This looks like rhe finishing one for me as I cant try this level any longer. Thanks for nothing King.Frustrating levels like this to ruin a good game

Anonymous said...

Very difficult level. May need the boosters if I get very frustrated.

Anonymous said...

Tried yesterday but almost impossible. Get rid of chocolate first. Then the marmalade which blocks ingredients. I'm doing all that but just can't seem to get all the ingredients down. Oh well, I can see I'll be here a while.

Anonymous said...

I've only been at this level for two weeks now. I haven't enjoyed this game for a while now, don't even know why i bother. They only seem to ever create and release levels that infuriate more than anything else. Who doesn't love a good challenge, but this is RIDICULOUS!

Lynn Westberg said...

Is it possible/helpful to get ingredients from just one side?

gcald said...

I've come here many times for tips but have yet to post. This to me is the most difficult level yet but after about 100 tries and tons of boosters wasted I just beat it with only one hand switch. My take on this game, all levels are beatable if you're patient. This one was fun to play and if you haven't beat it yet, it's a lot of fun when you do!

Anonymous said...

Really the fruits keep getting stuck in spots fix this level please

Anonymous said...

Anyone else having problems with fruit not coming down on iPad? I had last 2 fruit on the board through exit, but the very last one didn't come out? It was the last go, but there was a long cascade. Thx :-)

Anonymous said...

Strictly speaking, moving the frog is unnecessary. It isn't blocking the exits. I was able to maneuver around the frog, essentially ignoring it.

Anonymous said...

I officially hate this level more than any other. I don't want to quit, but I don't see how it's possible to pass. I had 1 fruit to go and 10 moves left, then it took 3 moves before the fruit came down and then each move I made in th column, it does the stupid 1 move to the left, and then I even got another free 5 moves and still couldn't get it down, even with hammer, and hand switch. I hate it when it's so stacked against you. The nasty fish eat the useful candies and I just hate this level basically. Even with 15 moves, I couldn't get 1 fruit down. :-( does anyone else have this thing of the fruit not coming down? Because it keeps happening to me on my iPad. Any suggestions gratefully received. :-)))

Anonymous said...

So I posted above and have finally got through! No boosters, and the fruit came down fine on the iPad, just this one time. It's obviously a level you just have to wait for the lucky board, as I didn't have any different strategy as before, other than not bothering wasting any boosters! The tip on the frog is a good one, take out the bottom square so the fruit can't get stuck and try and keep the moves to go through that exit. So if the fruit comes out that same side, try and make moves so it falls straight down, not through the portal. However, this was the first board I got that the fruit actually came out properly and That made it a lot easier,

Anonymous said...

Another ridiculously difficult level so once again waiting for the lucky hoard courtesy of our good friends at King.
I've played many many times (am laid up recovering from surgery!) and have come no closer than three fruit down (and then only once)
I enjoy tricky levels up they test our skill but lately there's little skill and just luck needed.
Becoming frankly bored. I have many lives saved (few boosters though as I've wasted them in on the last episode!) however I refuse to use them in this level. King you are having a laugh.

Anonymous said...

I've played this level goodness knows how many times and eventually came within needing one cherry which failed to appear! So very annoyed as absolutely refuse to buy extra lives. There are a few glitches in this level including special not being made despite the right moves. Also without hand switches it's virtually impossible to complete and the fruit and nuts slip to the ledges. Am within a whisker of deleting the whole thing. Grrrrrrrrrr!

Anonymous said...

This is the hardest level yet for me. Start each day as if I've never played before, I've given myself a target of passing before I lose the treasure chest for the fourth time in a row. If not will sadly delete the game from all my devices. I've read and re read the comments for tips but am getting nowhere. Time to move on and get my life as it was before back.

Unknown said...

I can't even figure this level out. I've read the tips and am not getting anywhere. Not sure where to even use the frog.

Anonymous said...

It took me some time to just figure out what had to be done in this level. Unfortunately, it hasn't helped me pass it. Ridiculously hard, and not a strategy, but luck level. Just waiting for the lucky board, I guess....

Unknown said...

This level is impossible. I don't know why cc is not fun anymore. I think I'm going to go catch myself some Pokemon. This is the level that has lost my loyalty to cc!

GC said...

I've played a few times with and without the coconut on iPad. I wasn't getting anywhere. I had just two fruit left in the same column near the bottom and couldn't get any moves to shift it down then I ran out of moves. I decided to play on my android and got it on there first time. But I had to use 3 hammers to get the last fruit down. Another horrible level.

Good luck everyone.

two words: I'm done!

Erin Cox-Holmes said...

After a couple of weeks on this, I used all the boosters. I reset the board on my iPad until a sprinkle ball and coconut wheel were next to each other horizontally. This wiped out all the chocolate and the blockers. The first time I tried it, I got 5 ingredients, but then the last one got stuck. The second time, I got 3 more coconut wheels, and it was done with 12 move to spare. Give this a try if stuck.

Anonymous said...

I'm finding this level very difficult and boring. What the hell?!?!?! Nick it off on these mundane, EFFING levels that I'm stuck on for weeks! It's just ridiculous! Show me how to get through it, cause the video always wins and I'm not!!!!!! I'm not buying anything to get through this pos level so get over your ploy to get me to!!!

Misty Moore said...

Ive played this horrible level about a Million I really do believe that its impossible to beat and because of that there is no lucky board on this one. Unfortunatly this has taken all the fun out of the game for me as this level will not allow anyone to get any further withy the game. I doubt King will even address the matter. So sadly I am going to stop playing candy crush for the sake of my sanity.

Anonymous said...

I played this 50+ times, got close to pass only to have a nut or cherry fall into one of the dead spots, could not switch it, as I had no switches. Thus had to play sugar drops to get 3 switches. Only passed after trying 10 more tries, using coconut wheel boosters, 3 hand switches and 1 lollipop hammer with NO moves left. GEEZ just ridiculous. Takes all the fun out of playing. I am so close to deleting this game. Now I open up next level and it's one of those get all these points with limited moves. Almost impossible. It's just getting so boring. These new developers never give any breaks or fun passable levels. SAD

Anonymous said...

This one really is frustrating. I finally cleared the top blockers with the first few moves then the apples and cherries fall into the corners or get stuck in non exit columns. Come on!

Anonymous said...

Absolutely frustrating level. Not much luck in getting any needed ingredients to fall down the right columns.

Anonymous said...

Been at this level for days. Absolutely horrible level. Can't get even close. Ready to put it away for a while. Too frustrating.

magkey said...

I found the hint about using a coconut wheel next to a color bomb to get rid of many blockers very helpful. Then I used a hand switch to move an ingredient to an exit column, and two hammers to finally get rid of the last candy. Thanks to all for your hints!

Anonymous said...

I was so thrilled to get a cherry and an apple to go down and out with some moves to spare until I noticed it was 3 of each. Aaaarrrggghhhh, how are you supposed to get six out?

Anonymous said...

The tip of resetting until coconut wheel next to sprinkle was great, think I was lucky as I got another two coconut wheels which I managed to get next to sprinkle once and stripe another time

Anonymous said...

What a level! Still trying...

Anonymous said...

Another ridiculously insane level. 1580 was hard. This is hard. I understand they are not supposed to be super easy. These insanely hard levels based purely on getting a lucky bored, takes all the fun out of the game. The fish at the bottom are useless, they eat random candies that they dont need to eat. The frog in this level is not necessary, he does nothing to help what so whatever. Don't bother wasting your boosters, they dont fall down after the 1st move. The closest I've came to beating this was getting 3 out of the 6 things to fall down, and that only happens during the last 10 moves. I'm so over this game!!!

Mom P said...

When you all say "reset" the board, what exactly does that mean? Quit and retry? This is a very hard level but I don't understand some of the tips posted here.waiting for lucky board I guess.
