Candy Crush Saga Level 1678

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1678 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Colour bombs are the secret to passing level 1678 Candy Crush Saga. First make the orange colour bomb wich is conveniently provided in the middle of the board and use that on an orange candy to unlock the bombs.
Then you need a second colour bomb to destroy the bombs. It's easier to make your own colour bombs than to grow the popcorns on the board so take those as bonus if you manage to grow them into colour bombs.
Once the countdown bombs are removed keep making colour bombs to clear the jelly in the bottom of the board.
There is no jelly under the popcorns so you can forget about them.

First attempt.Got a chance to make Colour Bomb/Wrap (Orange) combo early. Passed with using only 4 moves. Cheers !!

Took advice of Anon to make this one easy! Used a chocolate bomb and wrap/stripe booster and matched them. Did all the work!
Nice and simple one!

WARNING: Do NOT use a fish booster. When I did so it did not give me the freebie orange color bomb that you normally get when you start the game. The fish definitely did not compensate. I think it's a low for King to do that.

UPDATE regarding my fish booster comment: now I'm getting the freebie orange color bomb only maybe a third of the time even though I'm not using a booster.

There's no freebie color bomb on the IPad! This level really sucks

One of the easiest levels yet. I got the colour bomb at the start, and then quickly matched it with an orange striped candy, and on the next move, "sugar crush." Matching what is basically a free colour bomb with a special candy of the colour of the bombs should make this a short and easy level.

On iPad, reset until oranges could create choc bomb on first move. When adjacent orange stripe could be formed and used, game over.

Where's the color bomb at the start? Playing on android, and it would be there if it wasn't covered by jelly. Hard to release all the oranges from the jelly without losing some of them.

Two moves gave me a sprinkle (not from the jelly covered oranges) right by an orange stripe. Move 3 switched them, the bombs all changed to stripes and cleared everything. Game won, 3 stars.

Same much fun getting it like that. Took a few goes but hands down when I made that wrap next to the bomb I smiled!!

This one took me a while. I tried many times being able to make a color bomb with the orange wrapped candies after a couple of moves (I didn't get any color bombs just presented to me on the board). That uncovered the bombs but you still need to hit them each 3 times more to destroy all of the jellies. After many tries, I tried adding a color bomb boosters but ended up not being able to finish. Finally I went back to just playing without boosters, making that color bomb with the orange candies asap and then got lucky and was able to make another color bomb to mix with an orange candy that eliminated the bombs. Then the a stripe/color bomb combo to wipe out several jellies, a stripe/wrap hit some more and I ended up using a hammer to hit the last one. It took around 20 tries, finished with 3 stars. I never got that lucky color bomb/orange striped candy combo that wrapped everything up quickly but still a doable level with a reasonable bomb countdown, no chocolate and no evil spawners. So, yay!

The orange colour bomb that Ms Cookie is referring to is in the orange candies covered in marmalade at the lowest point in the top half of the board. Open the marmalade you can make a free colour bomb

I got this one on my second try. I used a colour bomb and wrapped candy booster. I planned on resetting until I got them together (orange wrap had to happen!!). Opened the game and there they sat, side by side in the top section. Hit them together on my first move and game over! One move! I couldn't believe my eyes!

That's the "free" orange bomb they are talking about. Clear the jelly and you can make the chocolate
Bomb with one move.

Chocolate sprinkle and orange wrap, done. Good luck everybody.

Well, what a fix. Started with a colour bomb then made the one the board lines up for you. Exploded the oranges ones for the first time then got another colour bomb along with the remaining one. Mixed them together - and so destroyed all but one - ONE - orange. Which of course I couldn't then get, so it exploded and ended my game. Furious.

Kept rearranging the board using chocolate booster, stripe booster and fish booster. Matched a chocolate bomb with orange stripe. One move finished it.
