Candy Crush Saga Level 1940

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1940 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Score at least 10,000 points in 18 moves to clear level 1940.
Sounds pretty easy but it isn't as easy as it sounds because some of the candies are locked and unable to be moved at the start which means you waste several moves just trying to open the board a bit.
You will need to make at least a couple of combos, stripe/wrap combos score fairly well, but colour bombs are always best, especially if you can switch them with another special candy to open up the board a bit.
Starting the level with a colour bomb booster may be helpful as you can use it to unlock some of the locked candies and get the board moving.
Look carefully at the board before every move and try to work as close to the bottom as you can to create mini cascades.

Neat! Loved this whole last episode: lucky board less needed and some strategy involved. Nice break from what we went through a while ago. Also nice not having to read nasty remarks instead of tips on this blog site. Happy crushing!

Glad to finish this episode! While the previous one was relatively easy, this episode is quite the opposite. Till next Wednesday. Hopefully the next episode is not as hard as this one. Rick

WOW!! Started off with a hard level and never slowed down until the last couple of levels. Definitely one of the harder more recent episodes. Lot of boosters needed, lot of boosters wasted. But I guess that explains why there are treasure chests every week. But judging by the number of comments per level either there's a lot of people stuck on the earlier levels or there a lot of people not playing. Hopefully this is not the beginning of the end.

Finished this episode today & I agree that some of the levels were fairly difficult. I used a crazy load of boosters to get through it but collecting sugar drops ensures I always have a steady supply for the tough levels.

Must have gotten a different version on Android, with 25 moves and a target of 50,000 points. Extra moves definitely helped. Passed this level with two candies still in their cages and they broke out after the game ended. Didn't reach 50,000 points but enough to get a two-star.

That is what I had on Android also. Disliked this whole episode even though I finished it in one day I had to use more boosters than usual. I finally received an answer from King regarding my devices not syncing. They said there will be an update in the next two weeks to fix the problem. I have one tablet at level 1940 and my 2nd tablet and cell are both at level 1911. All Samsung devices. My gold bars are synced so why aren't my levels? I really think this was done on purpose. Not sure if I'm looking forward to next Wednesday.

Actually, the synching problem between Android and Facebook (apparently there was no synching problem with iOS as my iPad mini was synching) has been fixed. An update was available on Google Play today, so I put it on my phone and tablet (both Samsung), and after the update, they synched with Facebook properly and all are on the same level now. As for this level, I got it on the first try, so two of the last three levels in this episode were levels-in-one. A colour bomb and a wrap together worked wonders in this one, especially with only 10,000 points needed.

It's 50,000 and 25 moves on I-pad.. Quiet an easy level with colour bombs giving ample points if left to explode at the end.

First try on the last board. Man....these levels in general were killers!

On the PC, it was 25,000 points and 25 moves. First try, no boosters, three stars. They apparently changed this one from torture to a gift. They just should not do that. Not fair to the people who had to fight for it.

It's only easy if the board is good. The first ten moves were shuffle, shuffle, shuffle and I only got 13k the first time. The second attempt wasn't looking much better but I had a sprinkle at the end and passed with 37k and two stars.

I have 5 colors ,not 4. Big difference.

Love how two color bombs just appear together in one of the videos. I can't get one to appear.

650k points in 24 moves. I don't see how it's even possible, and all the comments on here are about much lower scores. Anyone else trying to get 650,000?

Oops! Wrong level. I can't figure out how to delete my previous comment. =/

I was 7000 short on my first epic fail, lol. I have no boosters, maybe I'll get lucky. But that first game was just sadly bad and funny
