Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2079 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to score 50,000 points in 30 moves to complete level 2079 Candy Crush Saga.
You will need to unlock the candies around the cake bomb to give yourself more space to make special candies and combos. There is no real need to clear the cake, but it does clear the board for you.
Ignore the fish, they won't help much and they will be hit by your combos anyway. All you need to think about is first making colourbombs and if you can't make them the next best thing is wraps and then stripes.
Switch stripes and wraps together for better scores but use colourbombs on a single colour as this gives you a better chance to make more.

Today's newspaper lists the death of Lucia. I will miss her polite posts.
King 👑 is having an awards assembly, prizes going to players in huge amounts of $ . Envelopes to be awarded to players who have scored highest in 8 different methods. From using the least moves, to highest scores, best use of a booster, breaking a board with one try and four others! Plus trips, parties and contests! Crushers are urged to keep playing for pay offs. Candy crush fanatics compare to Trekkies , convention soon to be announced. King has kept track of all players in running....the party is on!
I started with a color bomb. First try it didn't match any extra time candies and didn't help. Got it on the next try quite easily!
This level may be the end of Candy Crush. Not even close and with arthritis it is frustrating.

In what universe is it easy to make color bombs here? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I can't even get close to the opportunity to make a color bomb.
Cascades are the enemy in timed games. I watch over half my time vanish during cascades.
I've barely broke 20,000 most of the time. Have yet to clear the cake.
45 seconds isn't long enough with all the cascading.

3rd try, 3 stars, no boosters.
Once again King discriminating against us older players whose hand eye coordination not so great.
Finally got it with a lucky board. Needed about 5.000 more points when time ran out. Bought 5 seconds andy passed the level. Very difficult level! Wasn't going to get that close and not finish! Happy to move on!
Does anyone know what was the cause of Lucia's death?

Took 22 tries. No boosters. Luck started giving me color bombs. Got one next to a wrap. When the cascade settled I had three stars.

This is the first time ever this old lady beat the timed level in few tries! I really suck at Timed level and dread when I come to it. Usually takes more than 100 tries. So not to brag but wanted to share my excitement. And I really love that King keeps on gift us free boosters often now. See? They do care:) Thank you, CC!

Stuck. I can get up to about 35K, but I'm under 10K half the time, never anywhere near 60K. Mostly match 3 after match 3 leading to nowhere, with a couple stripes mixed in to provide false hope.

Just watched some videos. I'm all set now. Turns out the key is simply to have Jedi reflexes. Ugh.
Finally got it. Worst level since 1710, almost as bad. Sprinkle booster was a big help. I didn't have the guts to use them because I thought I would just waste them all, but a sprinkle/stripe combo does wonders to open this one up. Only took five tries or so with the booster.
I thought it was game over (again) when the time ran out while cascades were falling with the cake ready to explode but after the cake blew up the time had gone to 22 seconds and I managed to get enough points to pass with one star.
Very difficult level. Can't seem to get a cascade going.

Have played this one well over hundreds of time with no luck. Absurd! Think it is time to find a new game.
Unfortunately, setting off the cannon gets rid of the +5 candies.
Every time I encounter a level that I figure King can't create one more difficult, I am proven wrong. But so far, I have always eventually made it through. Including this one. I was eventually lucky enough to get several candy balls, but I also held off on using them until my time ran low, because we can have only so much time put back on the clock, the rest being wasted. So I worked on getting points until I decided it was time to set off the candy ball and take out a few +5 candies. Hopefully it will be a while before King comes out with an even more difficult level which will again make me wonder why I continue to play the stupid game!
People quit being so nasty and hateful! It is a stupid online game! God speed Lucia... she was always nice!! Grow up and be nice like she was.
I think we all agree that the timer ones are the worst. They are just not fun. I do like to see comments on how to "beat" some of these hard levels. Not sure how long this one will take, but just hoping for a good board.
TIMED LEVELS SUCK!!! I have played this one many times and even cleared the cake once and it wasn't enough...I've gotten to 59,400 points...SO IRRITATING...

Horrible level. Was beginning to think I'd never pass it. Don't waste your boosters. They didn't help me at all. Waiting as patiently as you can for the lucky board is all you can do.
Is a shame. I used to love this game. Dispute the ridicule from my family. But this level really is not enjoyable. I like playing with skill not waiting for luck. A few more tries them that's it. Once was an addict to cc

Well, I have used every bonus I have, spent on buying extra gold bars for time and still nowhere near this level. Has anyone passed it? I give up and having got this far, I don't give pup easily!
Worst level yet! Sick and tired of these stupid timed levels that are totally dependent on lucky board or spending money on boosters. Sorry Kinf, I've had enough.

This isn't marked as hard but IMO it is.
I tried using sprinkle booster-some help but not enough.
Advice-save your boosters.
You'll need the right game to come along where you can make combos & you'll need more than one. The system at the end gives you about an extra 7000 so you need to be able to get into the 50,000s on your own.
About a 3 day effort without boosters, unless you're lucky.

I can't get even close. 21,000 is as close as I can get. Pretty hard level. However, King does not have it listed as hard. I hope I get a lucky board soon.

I used to come for tips from the administrator and mostly the comments of players but now the comments are becoming vulgar rants. Someone needs to clean this up. There are other help sites out there.

Well even in the unlikely event you get the cake to explode you still won’t get enough points even having also lots of extra time candies. Not a hard level? Do me a favour.
I've been stuck here for days. Have yet to make even one Colour Bomb. I've cleared the cake a few times but it wastes a lot of seconds waiting for the Hammer and there are no better matches with the extra spaces.

I dread the timed levels because my iPad is old and slow. However, that is all part of the game. Eventually a lucky board comes along, hopefully before I kick the bucket! Used boosters but they didn't do a thing. Would be hard to give this game up having so much invested. Plus it's FUN! Haven't found another game as enjoyable (excepting timed levels)

Did stupid pie and color bombs just dumb and bORING
16 move game for me/now. Got it first try starting with a free CB and the green UFO. Therefore started with 2 CBS. Got over 50000 required with 14 moves left, finished with over 90000. Followed Ms Cookie's advice and used the CBS on single colors, and then as usual just keep making combos.
tried 10 times on pc and could not get it went to tablet and with 2 color bombs hit the most if a color twice and done
