Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2480 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 2 ingredients in 40 moves to complete level 2480.
Although not classified as a hard level this can be pretty tricky, especially if you are not good at switching ingredients.
To get the ingredients to the exits, which are at the top of the board, you will first have to get them off the conveyor. While the ingredients are travelling up the conveyor you can set up the candies ready for the switch. The easiest way is to get two candies the same colour above the end of the conveyor and another just to the side, then as the ingredient arrives at the end of the conveyor you can switch it off.
Work on one ingredient at a time as there are plenty of moves and once you have the candies ready you need to work at the other side of the board so you don't move them.
Once the ingredients are off the conveyor make moves that clear the candies in the top row above the exits and the ingredients will drop through the portals and out of the exits.
The hardest part of this level is switching the candies and once that is done the rest is pretty easy.
If you are struggling with this level you can use a couple of hands to switch the ingredients off the conveyor.

I'm really struggling with this level and I don't have any hand switches left!
This level is not only impossible, it is boring does not require any strategy whatsoever -- only a lucky board.
It can be done without hand switches. Just carefully line up the candies - I did the two above and one to the side and then waited carefully - one at a time and the rest is easy like Cookie says. Took me 20-25 tries. Bit of skill needed for a change. It is not impossible.
omg this is ridiculous!
Hideous level. I did it slightly different than Cookie, but was only able to get one of the ingredients off the conveyor belt. Fortunately I had one free switch, so I used it. Then I got a couple color bombs and used them to clear the way to the exits for the ingredients. Ugh.
I'm also finding this not any fun. No hand switches left, and even then I'd only be able to use them if I could clear the path out. A plodding level.

This episode just became available to me this morning. I found it far more enjoyable than the last two episodes, but made full use of the Magic Dash to move things along. I didn't need to use very many boosters which was a pleasant change this time around. See you next Wednesday.

Playing for the four different bonus chests was well worth it. It was easy to get the 200 blues, greens and reds was which I achieved while I worked on collecting sugar drops. Collecting 200 yellow was a bit more tedious, but I just replayed level one over and over until I met the goal. That fourth chest gave me two hours of play! Now THAT'S a bonus! Good luck everyone!

Level 42 is good for collecting yellow candies and candy drop as well. Yellow candy only shows up in 6 color levels so special candies are hard to make in these levels. Passing level 42 is not difficult with magic helmet, otherwise, a wheel will be a big help. -PH
I used the hand switches right away. I wasn't about to suffer through 40 zillion tries to get everything lined up right. I love when Cookie says a level is so easy and then shows us a video by Skillgaming.
Another enjoyable episode. That makes 3 in a row for me. Finished each one 1st try with the help of Magic Dash and a few boosters. Level 2477 had to use the free spin for extra moves and ended up getting 15 instead of 5. Like Lucia I used 2 hand switches on the last level and finished with 33 moves left. Not sure what the bonus chests were as I didn't have them but not complaining. Til next Wednesday.

Lucky board came up after about 10 tries and virtually did the job by itself.
When I clicked on my picture on the Candy Crush track I see that my average stars for this episode was 2.8. So it was a very good episode for me.

Posting for luck. Didn't get my lucky board yet and would really like to have a couple hand switch boosters. I think I will try to get sugar candies from previous levels and I cross my fingers boosters will include hand switch.
I'm the anonymous who posted last comment for luck. Did this level right after. Didn't need hand switch at all, but used a hammer once (only booster I had). Although probably a lucky board, still need to study moves before each move.
I passed it with a help of helmet. I need to correct 200 yellow candies now but I can't find them as if they disappeared from the game. Could someone please point me to the yellow levels? Thank you!

Credit to the anonymous poster a few levels ago who posted 306 for yellows. 100 are needed to pass the level, and it's not hard.

Waiting for lucky board on this! As far as yellow candies for challenge, level 1055 is great too!
Level 1055 helped me with yellows
No lucky board or boosters needed on this level, just good strategic planning. It's nice to have a game where skill not luck plays the major part, more like this please.
Level 306 gets you 100 yellow each board.

Okay so I generally cannot STAND levels that rely on switching ingredients, I'd rather have a timed level.
But I followed Cookie's advice (line up two of the same colour above the conveyor belt, and another one of that colour off to the side) and I got it on the second try with 3-stars, no boosters.

Magic helmet, magic dash, yellow candies and now bonus chests....none offered on PC, putting some of us at a great disadvantage. This game has turned into one big hunk of shit.
I think this is the level that has finally made me put this bull$#\+ game down and move on with my life. Absolutely ridiculous level!

Thank you Cookie for the video as I could not figure out the portals until I saw it. I played countless times and the only way I passed was to use 2 hand switches.
I have only played this 3 times and I already detest it. I don't even want to play. I have rarely had any luck switching candies. It requires monumental luck unless you have a bunch of hand switches and I don't. Even the magic helmet doesn't help much. Good luck everyone but I think I'm done.

Oh I just can't get this level at all. Boring is not the word
Oh, wow! I finished it with no boosters and six moves leftover. The first time I played I couldn't figure out why the ingredients were just going around in a circle. I didn't see the exits until the end. Then I thought I had to move the ingredients off the belt and up the board. That's when I figured I'd better come over here. I almost never watch the videos but I did watch this one and that's when I discovered the portals at the bottom and realized it wasn't as hard as I thought it was. I played maybe twice more with no luck. Then the next time I had no problem lining up the candies to move the ingredients off the belt. Then the real luck set in. I had two chocolate bombs I was able to use to crush the candies above the exits and the ingredients fell right out. It was actually kind of fun.
People--it's a free game--get real. Must you use profanity--what does that accomplish? You should be banned from this site. I have no hand switches left--hoping for a lucky board.

this is ridiculous. minimal skill. mostly luck. and when you do manage to get the candies lined up, another one comes along and blows it before the ingredient can reach it.
so I finally got the candies set up, no candy ahead of the ingredient to screw things up, and the only move on the board involves moving one of the candies out of position! argh!

Another way to get the fruit off the conveyor is to have the color outside the portal match the one in between the top of the conveyors and the one behind the fruit. I could never get the two above one beside setup to work.
I can honestly say this level puts me to sleep. Such a drag.

This is beyond ridiculous. It's nigh on impossible to make the set ups to switch the fruit, you have to rely on luck unless you have hand switches. Which I don't. I like levels that involve a bit of thinking but this is batshit.

I'll try to make sense here. I believe the easiest way to switch the fruit off is look at the colour following your fruit. Then try to get that colour in between the conveyors on top of the centre pole. Now you only have to line up that colour to the right (for the right hand fruit) at the end of the conveyor. That way when the fruit gets to the end of the conveyor you should have blue/blue/fruit/blue (for example) from left to right if it is the right hand fruit. I found this much easier than the 2 above method which is harder to create & easier to collapse. Hope this makes sense/helps.

Okay, I finally got both fruit off the conveyor with plenty of moves left. Got one to go through the portal and despite matching colors my other fruit wouldnKt drop! Even used a lollipop to open a portal and my last fruit just sat there. No Fair!!!

I thought this game is meant to be fun and relaxing. At least that's what it says on the beginning before the level loads. I think I may sue for false advertising. Especially with this level. I don't play this so that I have to think through every move until my brain hurts. I'm off to Candy Crush Jelly to try and relax.

Come on stop your whinging and read the tips on how to line up the colours in order to move off the conveyor belt.
Once you set one side up correctly make your moves on the other side of the board so it does not affect you planned move.
Think logically that's basically what all the hard levels on CC are all about.
This has to be one of the most boring and frustrating levels so far. Once again nothing but luck, not possible to control.

Painfully boring level and impossible to boot...absolutely ridiculous! All you can do is watch the cherries roll around on the conveyor because the colors never never line up to move them off. Once you are down to 7 or 8 moves loft might as well quit that try as not enough moves left to get the cherries back up the conveyor. Impossible. Wasted too much time and too many hand switches. What a joke...there are plenty of other games out there to play.

Not fun at all! I think this is the hardest level I've ever played. I HATE switches!!! The one time I did get them both switched, I never got any candies to get them to the outposts! GRRRRRRRR

The board is different now. You have to move the cherries UP to get them off the conveyor and there are no candies underneath the cherries when they are on the conveyor. Can anyone playing now please comment? I can’t figure out how to do it.
Cancel that figured out HOW to switch the ingredient off. It’s just really hard since it can only happen at one spot, with two of same color below the fruit and that same color above it. Close to impossible, I’d say.
Wow. I was wrong again. It’s now super easy because you don’t have to switch, just make matches in the top row when the fruits are above the portals on the conveyor.

This morning while drinking my coffee thought I would struggle with level, I don’t know what I did, but passed with sugar stars and only 3 moves! This board I was sure I was going to have trouble and I’m not sure what I did, except come on here and read posts and video I had a very lucky board😊👍 And I always use a iPhone never used anything else ever, Good luck everyone don’t give up
