Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2703 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 12 each of red, yellow and purple candies to complete level 2703 and you have only 17 moves to do it.
The colours you need will come from the lucky candies which will drop from the dispensers at the top of the middle column, along with licorice.
You will get more lucky candies and less licorice if you clear some licorice with each move you make. You will also get more if you make your moves on the outside columns of the board under the portals.
It isn't easy to get cascades going as the lucky candies don't leave empty spaces when they change, but working near the bottom of the board whenever possible will give you the best chance.
Use colourbombs to change the maximum number of lucky candies, or if you have a lot of the colour you need on the board use it to collect that, this is more likely to give you a mini cascade too.

I can't get it to stop after completing...keeps going, I'm up to 12,000,000 and still going.....
So I beat this level the first try.... I had about 130,000 points and 4 moves left.... the cascades and special candies keep coming and coming and it's up to 4 million points and it's still going.... and there's still 4 moves left!!! This may be a problem, because I don't see an end to this... and if it doesn't end, then that means I can't move on :( Gotta fix the glitch in this one, or no one is moving forward.. ugh!

Played on the PC. I let the computer sit there for about 25 minutes. When I came back, it had just reached the 1 billion point mark. A few seconds later, it finally stopped and had the green light to go onto the next level.
Me too, up to 78 million, I don't want to "stop" the game and start over because obviously it will just happen again, come on King, fix this!!
I just came here to see if anyone had the same cascading problem, mine won't stop and I can't go on if they don't fix it.....way to stop us progressing King.....PLEASE FIX IT...Katie from Sydney
I completed this first try but it wouldn't stop, just wasting the battery. I finally stopped it myself, and of course it says I didnt complete. This needs to be fixed King before we can move on.

Just came on to see (after closing out the game) if there was any help. Went back and it now sends regular candies for the cascade after winning, instead of the checkmark candies.
Come on, won three times, the cascading won't stop. Please fix.
Left mine cascading while I watched the tv came back over an hour later and it had stopped cascading and said I completed the level, I checked it at times and during the hour it was still cascading so if you want to finish this level you just have to wait until it stops, because it will....eventually...Katie from Sydney

Got it this morning. Last move was to zero. Minimal cascading and no dropping special candies.
14 moves not 17. Need those extra three moves.
I wish I had looked here before I played this level - it is so frustrating to complete the game only for the cascades to keep going and going. I quit in the end - I am not prepared to waste my time for a glitch that King needs to sort out. It is obvious that the cascades will go on - every tick that appears turns into a stripe or sprinkle that then explodes to be replaced by more ticks! I assume that people at King are payed good money to produce these games - are they not actually tested before they are released?? Someone somewhere needs a stern talking to!! Come on King - this is really NOT good enough.
Finished the game 2 times, 2 times endless cascade. Second game in a row that doesn't work properly.

Really? Another endless cascade? Who is creating these levels, and why doesn't someone at King try the games before dumping them on us? There is very little fun left in this game, and certainly none of these levels offer any challenges, and they certainly require no skill - just patience waiting for the lucky board. On this level - the lucky board is way too lucky! Lordy, King, spend some money and hire creative game creators!
What gives? My iPad has 17 moves, and I can't even get close! I won on my iPhone with only 14 moves allotted, and hit the endless cascade! Never going to move forward this way! Who is minding the store at King?
Yup same problem. Endless cascades at the end. First post about this was the 15th of August. This should have been fixed ages ago. It's now the 26th! Come on King! Pay attention!
So I got the level with one move left and it started cascading like everyone said but I let it keep going for about a hour and 53 million points later it finally stopped and I got the level. So just have patients and let it go. Make sure you have enough battery life left.
Really irritated- used 2 boosters and bought extra 5 moves just to get the cascade.. want my money back.
Cascades just never end. King please fix.

39,000,000 one hour and ten minutes later finally finished. BS. They need to install a skip so once it's beat you can just play the next level.
This wasn't that easy to win and now this endless cascades. Stupid glitch that you would think they would have fixed by now since there have been other previous games that have done this. Annoying.

Mine finally stopped after about an hour and a half with 112 million points. Just leave the phone plugged in and go do something else. It's the only way to get past this level.

I finished the challenge with 1 move left and with a score of 200,000. It is now 1 hour and 17 minutes later and my s ore is now passing 65,000,000. No end in sight.
Update to comment above. I was going to just quit the game after it had been going on for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Just before I did the "Sugar Crush" appeared on the screen. The game went on for 1 minute longer and It finished when my score was 238,560,240. It will end on it's own.
Up to 12,000,000+ and still cascading. Sigh ~ no fun playing when the game doesn't end..... Leaving my phone plugged in and hoping it stops eventually.

At 11million I started to tap the screen and then it finally slowed down and stopped cascading after a few seconds. On to the next one. Don't know it is was just a coincidence or what.
First I completed it this morning using Chrome, and it cascaded for 6 hours. I finally just quit it. I then completed it on my Kindle and it also started cascading, so I quit that one too. Now I did it on Internet Explorer and it didn't cascade at all. So, if you have the original PC version on IE, I recommend you try to complete it there.

After completing the game the cascading started and continued up to over seven million. Left and came back still going so I lclosed the game. With this happening on game 2700 and now on 2703. From a so called legit company like king, now unprofessional is this?
The game on my laptop is still running, currently at 12 million. I tried it on my iPhone and it works fine.
I often wonder - do they never play the game? How does King not catch this??
Holy $hit I passed level 2703!!! The trick is to try your best to make your very last move (zero moves left) the move where you meet the goal and go to the next level. Try not to have stripes or wrapped candies left behind, those could potentially trigger a loop cascade. Good luck folks!

The cascading will stop. Mine stopped about 1h later when they stopped sending out special candies.
This is the level that never ends....it just keeps on and on my friend....My cascading hasn't stopped after an hour....special candies keep dropping. I was at 53% on my iPad and now down to 40% lol. I'll come back next week, maybe by then they'll have fixed the level. Good luck :).

Just won the level after many tries and now have the endless cascade. I just exited the game and will now wait for someone to post that it's fixed.

King's reply to the last level that cascaded was I or used too many boosters//which I hadn't any to not play the game for a few days. They were going to notify the Studio (who is the Studio?) to have them fix. Now another level! They're doing it on purpose!! Time to find another game to play.
I won on my phone and got the never-ending cascade. I was up to 80 million when my phone rang and it closed out the game. I just now completed it on my pc and am sitting through the endless cascade again.
As soon as I posted this, it stopped the cascading. Bizarre
I finally won without any boosters. Never ending cascade for over 3hours an 70 million plus points. My surface pro is plugged in so it doesn't shut off and I'm back to doing it all over. I hope this post works.

I downloaded the update and had no cascade problem after winning!
Finished level.....after cascading for over 3 hours, finally stopped with a score of 424 million.
Mine won't stop either..this is the 2nd time I've passed the level and it won't stop again. I switched to my tablet, thought it might have gone on to the next level but nope..what's up king?? And isn't it funny cookie didn't have this problem...I'm about ready to quit for sure..2 times this week I won 2 hrs of extra lifes and as soon as I started to play them, they disappeared
Playing on my phone and it's still going at 45 million. Read this thread and decided to try on my tablet and this time it stopped giving out special candies when you meet the goal. Ended at 100,000. I'm letting my phone play out to see if I can win the stripe challenge.
Up to 50 million by the end of this post.
Finally ended at 57.9 million. But I only got 6 stripes towards challenge and the points didn't count for leveling up. Wtf?

All this talk of cascades- I've not been near completing this. What am I doing wrong??? Whats the strategy for collecting the colours? Help please- have been on this level for days and days and nowhere near to even think of using a booster...

My cascade ended in an error message after letting it go for over an hour. This is stupid!

I find it interesting "Cookie" did not mention this cascading "glitch". Obviously, it is not a glitch, but a "we're running out of ideas. Free lunch to anyone who can come up with a new "twist". Endless cascades, brilliant! That'll really frustrate our loyal gamers". I was one of the lucky ones - mine quit after 57 minutes. But not before I had beaten the level twice before (at a location where I had no internet so I was unable to know that the "glitch" wasn't a "glitch" after all. The first time, I got up to 25,000,000 and finally quit as I was losing battery. The second time, the minute the endless cascading started, I stopped. So on my third time to beating this level, I plugged in my phone and let it run. How I beat it each time, was by using color bombs that formed to take out as much of one of the colors I needed and wrap/stripe combos to take out more. You really have to take your time and play smart. If I saw I wasn't getting anywhere, I backed out and started over. In two of the games I beat I used a couple of hammers each. In the third time I used a couple of hand switches.

Every time people complain about cascades, King will go and change the level. Now there are no cascades and it's really hard to get the colours. Can people stop complaining about cascades. Think yourselves lucky you actually have that problem and manage to get the candies that are needed. Those of us lagging behind have to put up with a harder level with no cascades.

The glitch seems to be fixed so no worries there. I passed by switching a sprinkle with a wrap, both of which were gifts. This instantly opened up the board. You will still need luck, of course. There's no telling what candies will drop and if matches on any game are going to be easy to make.

I used 2 hand switches to make a color bomb on my last move to get the rest of the purple I needed.

I used a colorbomb, had two near each other, so I used a hand switch put them together, turned all the checks into what I needed and passed the level..Hope this helps
