Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2742 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Vertical stripes and strip/wrap combos! This is the only way to complete level 2742.
You need to clear all the licorice so that the ingredients can get to the exits as well as the blockers under the middle cherry. This cherry will drop down onto the board and through the exits at the bottom, all the others will leave from the top exits once the licorice is out of the way.
There are two stripe dispensers in the bottom part of the board but these will only help with the outer columns, you will have to make your own combos fro the middle ones.
I used a hammer to complete this level.

Annoying level. Frustrating. Trying now many many times and never came close except one time. Only one cherry left above one licorice. Hit the licorice two times but was not destroyed and cherry did not fall. Pissing me off.
Of course no hammers and no hands, all gone.

I guess it's pretty bad when even Cookie has to use 2 boosters. Yes, she used two: The hand switch and the hammer. :(

This is another wait for the lucky board game. And the dispenser on the RHS doesn't give anything out most games. Why not take 10 moves away add 2 layers of frosting and get rid of both dispensers.
Might as well make it a challenge.

Got bored of this, so started with a coconut wheel and then used hammers to drop the last two cherries when I'd got close enough.
Started with a coconut wheel along with the space dash. Had to use a hand switch to put a stripe in the middle to shoot up. Finished with 14 moves left. Good luck everyone!
CC must be angry at all of us for getting this far so is giving us impossible levels.

Just won.......had to use a hand to get two bombs side by side.
I have collected boosters with space dash, I even combined 2 color bombs! Combining color bombs didn't clear the licorice!! You need hammers, a lot of hammers!! Just another way to make you buy boosters!! Time to find a fun game!! I won't buy more hammers!

Passed this on Android after stuck for 2 days or so. No boosters, no spaceship. Previously has a few close encounters. I agree it's looks hard, but after playing a while somehow u can form stripes along the way. Finished with abt 7 moves left. Last move was a stripe+wrap combo.
I think that high levels should be difficult but King they should be solveable with skills not with pure luck. Guess you might use a lot of players playing a log time including me.... i also guess you simply dont care.....

I just started on this level and was checking here for tips. Guess this is another level needing a
lot of luck.
So I had a good board with special candies. Used two lollies to free the cherries and onward to the next level. Good luck.

If KING is not capable of making a game that gives people fun playing it, they must not pretend that they are great at it!!!!! Only the first episodes are fun to play. At the start of a game they proudly announce that they have over 50 million players. Guess what: reading the comments that will not last for long.
If there is a level where you can only make 1 move again and again. Then what's the point of playing it ??!!!!! Are the developers that ignorant?!!!! Please KING fire those people!!! Cc was supposed to be fun!!! Not to me anymore!!
I was able to play 2 hours with free lives because of a bonus I got and I used 7 coconut boosters and still I haven't been close to passing this level. KING you've lost it completely! I'm so fed up with this game!!! With a little luck you get a lucky board when you complain, but that's not how this game is supposed to be played is it??!!!

Come on, you all made it to this level, you will also succeed this one. Mrs Cookie is right, you need mainly to clear the middle, sides are easy with the spender and come accidentally. You need 16x to clear liquorice or blocker in the top, so it IS hard. Needed a hand, too, to combine a wrap/stripe. Coconut wheels are less useful I thought, because one focuses too much on them instead of doing stripes. Good luck. Needed also 2 days.

Finally completed this level. Switched from playing on my IPad, to my IPhone. This has often worked before. And on the iPhone, the coconut wheel kept reappearing. Glad to be done, after a week.

Omg!!! This is a level that you have absolutely no control over. You can't use extras, skill or luck. You just have to wait for the algoryth to work in your favor.

Give me a break. Every level is frustrating and unnessary. King is driving the players crazy fixing the board at his own discretion. I’m soooooo fed up with these antics. Give the players a fair playing field and stop giving the levels at your discretion.

Use the space dash which has two colour balls and then use an extra cb. Better chance in getting 2 together. This level took me awhile but I did get it.

This has got to be the worst level since I started playing CC many years ago. I have been playing for days and can only Release the middle cherry onto the board. The others are impossible! What is the secret? Have watched the video, but no help! Please give me a lucky board so I can move on!

No...CC is not angry with us. They are overjoyed that they created levels so difficult that many of us addicts will pay for boosters. Keep in view at all times that this is all business for King. They dont carewhen the stubborn ones who won't buy boosters drop off. They dont create new levels for their and our amusement.

A candy wheel helps with this, also read what Tisha Thomas says, however I have got this far and only spent £4.79 so spending a fortune is not necessary just spending lots of time going back to collect candy drops to earn boosters doing that is very boring but it's the best way to earn free boosters. If you Google best levels to win candy drops that gives you good recommendations.
I passed after a few tries using choc bomb, stripe wrap and coconut wheel which really helped😊👍
