Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2797 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You'll need special candies or combos to unlock the blockers down the middle of the board, this will allow the candies to drop into the bottom part of the board.
Once the board is a bit more open it will be easier to make the combos you need.
Remember if you clear some licorice no more will drop, so try to keep the licorice under control as much as possible.

For me, licorice drops whether I clear it or not. Not sure why that tip doesn't work for me.

CC is not co operating with us. Oh well there is always different games to play.
There needs to be an update by Cookie and/or a fix by King because the continually falling licorice make it impossible!
yep, think game has been changed to make it harder. Licorice keeps falling no mather it you clear it or not. Another glitch in the game or just a way to make it harder?? Posting for luck as this is what is needed to make it to next level.
I had the space helmet, but gave up trying to get the CB's together and used one with a wrap which had a lot of the same color on the board. Things went well, but licorice did keep dropping. The last jelly was under a licorice in the top left corner and I wasted several hammers when I forgot that it won't break a licorice. Luckily, I was able to make a move which dropped a candy there and then hit it with a hammer.

In the video it's 23 moves, I do have 19 moves on Android. This makes is much more difficult, you need luck in the beginning (important: open the right stripe spender quickly). I don't have the liquorice problem (if I hit liquorice, no new liquorice falls during this move)
Very tough to pass this...got lucky once only had 6 to get but most under liquorice and no more moves. Ugh...will keep trying but even starting with boosters or the double CBs together doesn't seem to help.
Will these idiots at CC ever give us the ORIGINAL number of moves? I guess that makes us idiots for playing. Now 19 moves.
The previous level was ridiculously easy, got it on the second try after almost getting it on the first one, and that was described as "super hard" and this as ordinary? Really, this should be the hard level, as I have tried it thirty times and got close once. Whenever I get close, the licorice becomes a problem. Sure, if you clear licorice, none falls, but whenever I get a good combo that clears space in the bottom left, it fills with licorice. The best advice is to keep that one cream blocker in the top left in place as long as possible to prevent the licorice from falling.

Again this level seems impossible with so few moves. Liquorice keeps dropping whether I clear it or not and I'm not even getting close. Posting for luck or hoping King change it back and give more moves please
1st try with the benefit of the colourbomb from space dash and one hand swap. Easy enough.

Cookie's advice is correct. Licorice will drop if you clear blockers under licorice dispenser. I left the blockers till the end, cleared with combos and viola, cleaned the board with no boosters. So, gamers, clear right and middle first, then move to left of the board.
