Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2871 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2871 is a jelly level with 20 moves, so you need to work quickly to break through the blockers and get the candies dropping into the bottom part of the board. There are portals each side of the board in the outer columns and the candies from the top will drop through them into the opposite side of the board.
Once you have broken through and have candies dropping into the bottom half of the board try to work as low down on the board as you can, this will create cascades which will help clear the jelly without wasting moves.
Look for colourbombs and try to switch them with a stripe or a wrap for the best results, but if you are not able to switch them with another special candy just switch with a single candy which will hopefully make it easier to make more colourbombs.

I'm getting sick of these impossible levels. I've decided to use up all my boosters and then I'm done. This is not fun anymore. If the developers were smart they would make it a little easier for us to pass new levels so we could collect gold bars and buy them cheap. I fell for this little piggy bank game last week and actually spent some money, but no more. This game just seems to make me angrier and angrier. I admit I'm addicted so it will be hard for me to quit, but I'm determined.
This is an awful level. I eventually managed over 600,000 points (by complete fluke) and then it told me I'd failed the level. Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
I really do NOT like timed levels, yet I found 2871 was fun and challenging. It took forever but I got through it. I didn't have a single booster to help me. Good luck!
Again I got through this without losing the space dash or a life and got it on the second try. After I lose I don't click on "give up" but rather open a new tab with CC and As far as the game is concerned I haven't lost. What helped me was starting with boosters I was lucky to get two sprinkles together and the fish really helped too.

Maybe I'll wait until Wednesday when it's released on iPad. I have a full set of Space Dash, and I don't want to lose them.
another 20 secs on this level be good .. or a lucky level would be nice
Mrs.M - If you play on the computer you never have to lose your space dash. If you don't win then just don't click on "give up"!! Instead copy the URL and open a new tab and paste it in and there you are on the same level with your space dash. Close the old tab and it's like you never played the game where you lost.
It's also possible to take a break on a timed level. Just leave the page by hopping to a new tab and on a phone or tablet just leave the game (not the back button) and when you come back you are right where you left off. I often take many breaks when playing 1955 for the stripe contest.
I forgot to mention that you don't lose a life or boosters using this method so even though the level is hard you can keep playing with limitless lives and boosters until you get that lucky board.
Losing too much time on cascades. Another level which drives people away.
This may be it for me. You think you might have a chance and then the cascades go on and on and on and just run out the timer

Used the space dash wrap+sprinkle combo on the first move, by the time the cascade finished time was up and 35 jellies left. No skill required at all, simply have to wait for luck to take over. Another senseless level.
Another hateful level- difficult to be speedy enough to get ahead of the timer, especially when a shuffle happens.Think I may be stuck here a while. More time please!!

Arghhhhh, I hate timed levels, especially when there is little time on the clock.
This is a good time for those of you with access to space dash to use it. Unfortunately, I don't have access to it, so I will check back when the Candy Crush gods give me that access. I played one level where I had nine candies left. Otherwise, it's been a bit ridiculous. Good luck.

This level is impossible for the amount of time they give us... the time should stop when candies are dropping ..by the time you get a board to clean the time runs out!!! We need more TIME CC!!!

Worse level ever - impossible to beat. Game is getting no longer fun. Feels more like a job to beat the levels - I'm seriously thinking about quiting the game - can't believe I played this game for 3 years.

Was able to make two wrapped candies side by side and then detonated. It was enough to give me an extra five seconds and then the lucky board kicked in. Finally!!!!
This level seems not even remotely doable. Fifteen tries on a fast computer and I managed to get a five-second candy once. Given the time taken by cascades and reshuffles and the fancy graphics set off when using a colour bomb, this level is not doable. Boosters are useless as they take up more time than it is worth it given what they do (fish are especially useless). I maybe get a third of the jellies and hardly any of the licorice or cream blockers cleared before time runs out. Unless I get an extremely lucky board (winning-the-lottery level luck, probably), I am not getting this level anytime soon. Perhaps they will fix it when it comes out on mobile.
I hate these levels.....I don't understand why King would want to lose customers......games like this one just make you want to give up......
All last hundred levels are easy for those who have space dash and impossible without it. Not fare and not sense! Give us all helmets o remove them all!

Dear Ms cookie can you pass the message on if you have connections to King. Some friends and I cannot move the mouse fast enough and fingers are not agile enough on the touch pad or the touch pads are too slow. King need to have a care for those of us with 'ageing issues' eyes joints and problems with the chameleon are bad enough without having to waste all the time available waiting for the candies to fall. No challenge here just Dull dull dull.
I got a lucky board. Was able to clear some blockers. The cascades hit some 5+ and created special candies and they kept working without me doing anything and cleared the board. This clearly is not fair for those of us who cannot get space dash. I agree, give it to everyone or get rid of it.
Ok so I can get pretty close but the cascades are killing me!! they eat up so much time I can't even switch the +5 candies before time runs out. Rubbish!!

Switched the 2 CB from the Space Dash on the first move.
That open up the board and enable me to complete quite easily.

Easy to pass with space dash if you have a saved CB booster. Go back & play levels 1-3 & accumulate 3 space dash boosters. Then go to 2871, use your Saved CB booster & combine the 2 color bombs & the game practically plays itself. If you don’t hv any saved boosters keep playing more of the lower levels say 1-5 until you get 2 CB boosters from space dash. I know this will work. NC

Got a lucky board after about 25 attempts. Save your boosters.
The key to this two cluster bombs died by side. Removes licorice below dispensers. Then go like hell and hope you clear all the jelly.

This has got to be the most stupidest level ever , I have played for years and always got through but this one is near impossible , 30 seconds goes nowhere even 60 seconds would be a helluva challenge . Already so many comments on this level but I will add mine also. These timed levels are ridiculous and I hate them. Every time we have one I beg not to ever have another one. I get up this morning excited to start my new levels and what am I looking at - another timed one. It uses all my time shuffling! These are especially hard for the older players.
Used magic helmet and selected sprinkle ball and a,fish and wrap and stripe then played. Lucky the sprinkle balls were together and the rest was luck. All did was watch and scored over 1 million. 2nd try. I got really lucky!good luck everyone. Co

I hate timed levels, so after reading all the comments, I started with all three boosters added to the space dash. It opened with two CB's together which I matched. That cleared most of the board and I had time to make a couple matches to get extra minutes. Once the jelly cleared, I let the time run out and was finished. Playing sugar drops while waiting for the new episode pays off! I have hundreds of extra boosters to burn. Thanks for the tip, Gil, and good luck everyone!
I just opened this level, and a party piñata appeared. I clicked on it, and it blew up and opened the board. I was able to pass with about two moves. The cascades did the rest. I must be hallucinating! Good luck!

I used one of the new piñata boosters and it blew up enough to release the extra time candies which helped me get the time to clear the jelly.

Stupid level. It seems impossible because it is impossible unless you get a lucky board, which I miraculously did on my third attempt. I started with the striped-wrap booster which opened up the extra time candies. Once that happened, it was a series of bombs/wrapped/stripes that just kept going off and adding extra time. I basically only made a handful of moves and luck did the rest. Silly.
Iswear this level is making me feel really ill. I cannot see the combos, the cascades last 30 seconds and the amount of shuffling is ridiculous. I have a crashing headache and I have only tried it twice today
Beyond REDICOULAS this level. You have about 10'seconds to make your board ready. Than the computer will decide how the play will continue. You have no say in this matter at all. KING you're getting disgusting!!

Really stupid and ridiculous level in many ways. King doesn't seem to care about customers who has been playing CC for many years. Please re-think and re-do. With all my respect that's left, please fix this level. We want fun and logistic levels, not timed and impossible stressful levels :(

There is a GIANT BUG in this level. When the first candy start to fall I got RED candies as well! Something's very wrong here!!!
The problem is waiting for all the cascading to stop while the time keeps running on. You have to wait it out and the time's up.

I too am leaving till they do something about this level. I got down to one jelly but before I could even find it my time was up. The frustration level is just too much. I play various other games and none of them have timed levels. I agree with the majority here, there is no fun in timed levels. I would love the option to skip them using some kind of booster. What do you think CC, maybe some people would even pay for that booster😜

I moan on here as much as the next person, and look for tips, but am not under the illusion that this is an official site - it’s just a forum for Candy Crush players!!

I cannot believe this level! Totally ridiculous and impossible. I think King must be finding it very hard to come up with new levels so are making current levels virtually undo able. Not enough time to break through the blockers and get to the extra time candies. Only once in days and days of playing on four different devices have I managed to get one of the timed candies.
Well enough is enough for me. Goodbye CC and King.

Actually level 2871 will stop a lot of loyal fans of this game.
When you've come this far, it is not easy to let go.
But when you struggle every day and know it is useless, you slowly let go and quit.
Normaly CC takes a lot of my free time.
Now it is every day more less until I can say: this was it.

This one was fun and quite easy, so long as you get a good start. The trick is to open up the dispensers on the sides as quickly as possible to get extra time candies dropping. I'd got within one jelly several times, so I knew that it could be dine with persistence. Took about 20 tries without boosters. Onward.

Cookie's board shows 20 turns while my computer only shows 12. Not fair King. All boards should show the same amount of turns even Cookie's board. Just want the players to purchase boosters.

Perhaps the level has been programmed to be easier now. It definitely was not easy, with me finishing the first few rounds with lots of jelly left.
But the final 2 rounds, I saw the secret. It isn't combos either. It is cascades. I followed the King advised move & used a colour ball on a single colour & cascades are what clears the board for you. Not clever moves.
You can't predict a cascade so this level isn't about skill but you will eventually get your cascade. 5/10 only for fun.

Level 2871 is not timed or 20 moves on any of my devices it is 2 cherries with 34 moves
Like 2 previous postings I also have a completely different #2871. Have to collect the 2 cherries. Please update. Have also found many of the past 20-30 levels have been totally changed - not just small tweaks.
Impossible without boosters or the elusive lucky board, non moves only?
I don't understand My level is the same as the video. only now it's only 12 moves. No cherries, No timers.
