Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2898 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have only 20 moves to collect the 4 popcorns and also blockers and blue candies.
Once you have cleared some blockers and have space to work look for wrapped candies and other specials to grow the popcorns and continue clearing blockers, forget about the blue candies, they will be collected as you work on clearing everything else.
The UFO's will help collect the blockers but they won't always help with the popcorns so concentrate on them mainly.

Cleared all the blockers but still need lots of blues!!!!
Got this with space helmet and pure luck, I had to waste a few moves to clear bombs. The blockers cleared themselves and finished on last move.
Had the full space dash boosters, cleared it on 3rd try with 17 moves left! these levels can't be done without boosters, skill not required any more!
Same as above. Got everything and needed 30 blues.

Seemed impossible but I finally started with a stripe/wrap but still used 3 hand switches and 2 hammers. Needed boosters definitely.

Does it annoy anyone else that you get a notice telling you that you will get a special prize if you win on your first go. And when you do, all you get is a banner saying Wow, you won on your first go?!?!

I have a general comment concerning the sprinkled bombs. Lately I'm noticing that a bomb will go off without any provocation. It happens quite often. Is this happening to anyone else?

Well, I've been here nearly 5 days, and I haven't even come close. Need a healthy dose of luck, pretty please Dr. King!
Can’t get passed this. Bombs keep exploding and can’t get enough blues.
Again I’m asking for help! It seems all levels are pure luck anymore.

I have been stuck on this level for over two weeks. I am done with candy crush! Goodbye friends wake up and smell the coffee!

I found this level seriously hard. I tried using boosters (colour ball plus stripe & wrap) several times, made no difference.
Main problem is being left with about 30-55 blue candies still to go, even if I did manage to clear cream & popcorn.
Main advice. Bombs are a killer if they fall in that bottom line. If possible, use the spinning things separately, not together and wait till a bomb ticks down low as it will ALWAYS target the bombs for you.
I finally finished with one star but only because I used a hand to put a wrap next to a colour ball & a lollipop hammer to clear the last cream.
If you can see the blues are done, it is well worth using those boosters towards the end of the game.
And someone asked about the helmets-only honour & glory, no actual boosters seem to come with it any more on computers anyway.
I agree with using UFOs separately. Very difficult. When I found that I only needed 12 more blues, I used 10 gold bars, only needed one move! So annoying. My top tip for any colour-collection level is: eliminate every other colour on board except the one you need to collect: in this case, hit everything except blue. If you hit blue at every opportunity, it will take too long for more to accumulate. Destroy every other colour, thereby bringing more blues into play, and they will match themselves. Hope this helps someone
Am I the only one who is "awarded" extra playing time but the only way you can use it us if you have accumulated moves? What'@ the point? There is no "reward", if you had moves you wouldn't need extra time. JACKI
Waiting for lucky moves
I got all the blockers yesterday except one and I ran out of tries. Have not gotten close today.
Not enough moves as per usual. Getting closer to level 3000 so always harder to progress. So dam boring!
This level is bad enough so they give us the bombs to make sure it is even more rediculous. Sucks big time!!!!

I only can use my iPhone have been using it since I started playing candy crush, just wanted to reply to you I’ve never seen a helmet either, I may be wrong
But I read older blogs 2017 they talk abt the helmet a lot , I have never seen it to use it or win it I’m guessing it’s something that doesn’t exsist anymore?
Hi everyone, took me quite a few play thrus , was on this level all yesterday finally I just passed😊👍 I did not use boosters but at the very end I just needed one more move for the icing so I used my bars to buy xtra moves and passed, good luck everyone👍

King! I'm in CC prison. My sentence has lasted over a week. Boosters-gone, Chocolate Box -gone, sanity hanging by a thread. This level is the devil hiding behind sweet gummies and chocolate. Posting for some "beat level 2898 without boosters" kinda luck.
Can same for me, 1 hour free booster with no lives left to play, always.
This level is impossible the bombs explode and end the game without me collecting much of the orders and with 18 moves ,eft.

Head wrecking stuff here. The bombs have a six second countdown which is as much use as a chocolate teapot. Been on this for over a day now and so bored with it. I need a lucky board please king.
