Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2916 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
First you must unlock and clear the bombs, but check the board carefully before you make any moves to unlock them, if you can make a colourbomb it is worth it as you can get more bombs with that than simple matches, especially if you can switch it with a stripe or a wrap.
Once the bombs are free and cleared the locked licorice needs to be cleared so you can get to the jelly. Wrapped candies are best for unlocking and clearing the licorice, stripes will work, but slowly and you don't have many moves to spare.
A colourbomb combo will be useful, switched with a wrapped candy is better than with a stripe as it will clear a lot more licorice. Also very good is a double colourbomb combo.

I was able to match a color bomb with a wrap and it followed with more combo opportunities. Fun level for a change

Not the same board 2917 should be ingredients after clearing liquorice and jelly level. No bombs??
On Android. My 2917 is different too. It's an ingredients level and I've no idea the best way to play it. Came on here looking for hints.

Playing the ingredients level version of 2917. Went to a lower level to get the spaceship sprinkle, then added a sprinkle booster, resetting to get them together. Still wasn't getting the ingreds out so used my last piñata. Done, but out of the good boosters.

My level 2917 indeed is totally different from the one explained here. Could it please be updated. This is a very difficult level. You have to gather 3 nuts, but these are almost impossible to reach.
This is not my board either and I'm tired of being stuck on my board they make it so boring when they make it so hard that it takes a week or two to get past it

This game board is now 2716. I found a major tip for passing the new 2617 (collecting the ingredients)when I unknowingly won the game. At the top are three ingredient dispensers with licorice blocking them. Only remove one piece of licorice. All three ingredients will fall from that one dispenser so you only have to clear the icing from one square down at the bottom. Once you do that all three nuts will fall out right in a row.
Okay, now I'm confused. The example here for 2917 is the same as my 2916 that I just finished. My 2917 is the same as one I played a while ago. What gives?

I just get it (the one with ingredients). Souch an horrible level ! I used a flying saucer nearly at the end. There was just a few jelly remaining, the flying saucer hit at the good place.
Still waiting....Not giving up but not giving in either. Definitely a no money honey type level. I'm fine being stuck here forever King.

First, read cookies instructions and watch the video and read the blog. You have to understand how the level works, and any useful strategy. Then, if you can reset until you have 2 CB together, you are often half way there. We are getting lots of free boosters these days, so never get stuck for weeks at a time, like we used to. Worst case, go back and play 606 for a helmet.
