Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2949 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The secret to clearing level 2949 is to clear the cake bombs, easier said than done as they are protected by licorice.
First make stripes to hit the licorice surrounding the bottom cake, there is a dispenser at the top left of the bottom conveyor that will give you stripes once there is room for them to drop. Don't be tempted to switch the stripes as soon as you get them, try to drop two together then let them move around the conveyor and up to the top cake, switch them here to clear the top cake and at the same time keep trying to get more stripes to drop next to the bottom cake.
If you can clear the top cake first it will be a lot easier to clear the bottom one and the remaining jelly, as clearing the top cake will get rid of the licorice and allow more stripes to drop around the bottom cake.
If you clear the bottom cake first you will get plenty of stripes, but the top cake will still be surrounded by licorice.

Horrible level,very tedious; it's useless to hit the top pie because the licorice just fills back in again and even double balls only clear part of the pie. The only thing that works is a ball wrap with 2 of that color in the pie part. Fish booster is a bit helpful.
The video shows a lot of luck getting balls,wraps and stripes in the exact right place. Mine keep blowing up for seemingly no reason at all!

I finished level 2949 with 2 lives, then level 2950 is identical now I can't beat 2950 WTF is going on
And 13 moves to spare.
Easily done with the help of 2 CB from the SD for a start.

Using the space ship 2 CBs, reset until together. Start, one move. Also do this for level 2952.
Read cookies advice. This is exactly the solution... Free the stripes in the bottom and hit the upper cake with them.
Am I stupid? I could SWEAR we had already EXACTLY the same level maybe around 100-200 levels ago??? I still knew how to solve it (with the stripes from the bottom spender hitting the top vale.... Doable with patience).
Started with 2 CB's side by side, finished with 25 moves left!

Started with 2 cb & finished with 15 moves left. Play 606 7 times then go back to this level & reset until cb's are together

Super hard level is an understatement. 1 week now and sick of playing Candy Crush. This is just not fun anymore.

How the hell do you complete this level????
Been stuck for what seems like forever on it. 90% of the time I don't even clear 1 cake, let alone any of the second cake.
Boosters at the start don't help.

This level contains so many bugs.
Stripe despenser not dropping striped candies,
Random combo explosions,
Striped or wrapped candies not being produced when 4 or 5 candies joined,
I hope any update fixes them.
Even with space dash those seems totally impossible. Will be a goodbye from me very soon. Really wanted to get to 3000 but doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Come on candy crushers, help me with this level. Been on it for weeks now, and still not even coming close. If I do manage to clear a cake, I only have 1 or 2 moves left, which is pointless to do anything else.

Oh my gosh. This is frustrating!
And yet another tedious game taking days to get through. I have read all the other comments and totally agree, wasted every booster I manage to gain and still no where finishing. Players leaving daily due to the impossible amount of time it takes to move on. No chance of any more boosters for another 24hrs time to look else where for my entertainment.
King thinks that enjoyment IS to spend lots if days in every level, depending only one luck to pass them. As I told befire, if I wanted to play roulette I would have choosed orher Game. Anyway King doesn't mind that.
I have been on this one for almost a week now. I can't even get the bottom one cleared. I am not sure what I can do when I have no boosters left to get this behind me. I am really at a loss on this one. I believe my only hope is for a lucky board to come on over and pay me a visit. Come on in lucky board. You are always welcome.

This level should be marked hard. I was on it for ages.
Boosters don't help.
If you've got boosters, don't waste them all-use a couple but then STOP. I think the use of a booster signals somehow to the King computer bots that you're struggling a bit, you'll get a do-able board some time after it.
This one needs a touch of luck. My advice is if you get down to 2 or 3 candies with one move left AND they are not covered in licorice, use the lollipop hammers. This is one level where it is worth it.

Been playing for 3 years. This one tempted me to quit. Finally figured out to eliminate bottom pie first. Then you get lots is stripes to send to top pie.
Hi everyone, this was my first try so didn’t use boosters but at the end I only needed a few moves at the top, lollipop would of worked I didn’t have any a ufo would of worked didn’t have that either, could of played more levels but reading candy crusher blogs decided to use my pinta booster and it cleared everything out and passed the level, never used one before had it forever it’s a powerful booster after using that passed the level with no trouble at all and now I know how it works Good luck everyonr😊👍
