Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2989 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have only 12 moves to collect 18 wrapped candies and complete level 2989 Candy Crush Saga.
Collecting the wraps is not as hard as it sounds as there are 4 UFO's on the board which will give you 12 of the wraps needed so all you need is to make 6 more to complete the orders.
From the start you need to be making wraps, forget about the chocolate, if you make wraps they will clear the chocolate for you and if it starts to take over too much you can quit and start again as you won't be able to finish the level if you have to waste moves chasing the chocolate.
Making wraps will also collect the keys as the blast from the wraps will bring the keys down to where they are detonating.
The keys will unlock the UFO's and they should be used as soon as they are unlocked. Be careful that the second UFO doesn't get eaten by chocolate, if the chocolate has nowhere else to go it will eat the UFO, so any licorice needs to be cleared from around the chocolate before you collect the second key if it is blocking the chocolate.

Space dash is a big help. Match a CB with a wrap, making sure the wrap is the same color as the open key.
There is a space dash in the game but chocolate square covered it up. Are you saying purchase a space dash? There is not enough moves. I am disappointed
I agree with the previous post.
Sorry folks but this is another shity game. Watch out for the chocolate covering space dash and wrap candies and be prepared to spend money on boosters and lives. Burning up 26 lines I still was unable to pass....

Yes this is the kings way.
With "space dash" Carol the elder means a bonus program of CC, not the UFO on the board. You get this extra boosted when you play on mobile: go back to lower, very easy levels like 606 and repeat them for boosters (normally CB, wrap/stripe and 3 extra moves)
It's always the same advice as almost every game is almost unbeatable without space dash and starting with CB and stripe, wrap or second CB
I feel like a blooming genius. I've never had an offer to get Space Dash, I don't even know what a Helmet looks like, but I still got this far.
For those of us without magic boosters not available to lowly Android players, anyone have some words of wisdom?

I agree. I've been saying for months that going the space dash route first try is no challenge. It's usually my last resort and I'm lucky I guess to have that option since not everyone has it. But I really feel winning a level without it is more satisfying! I'll keep plugging along on this one until I can beat it.....

Hi Carlyle, I am sure that you passed long ago, but I am taking my time nowadays. I don’t have space dash either but my husband did before he passed away in May. I play on my iPad as did he. I passed the second time by using the check booster. Diane from San Diego
This game is seriously annoying me now, another ridiculous level. I think the priority is to clear the chocolate cause every single time it’s eaten the flying saucer. Can’t get anywhere near the number of wraps required.
Well after posting the above comment, got a wrap/sprinkle combo - worked a treat.

I agree, I have never had the helmet or space dash, I have tried to get them. I have to win all the levels with skill or luck. I try not to use boosters unless the level is really hard.

Another impossible level. CC was fun, now it’s just a pain in the ass. Just switch to one of the hundreds better games available.
About the only way to win this level without boosters is with a sprinkle/wrap combo, as someone earlier discovered. You don't plan this, it just happens (after playing about 200 times). Onward to 3000.

One of the worst levels!! Again it's about money!! I have tried for 2 days!! Not even close!! The licorice makes it difficult to get keys!! I used space dash every time!!!! Chocolate covers the booster immediately!! Such a waste of time!! Frustrating & no longer a fun game!!!

Used a color bomb and stripe wrap booster (or could get the same two with the space dash). Reset until the wrap was beside the color bomb. Passed on the first try with 8 moves left.

And yet another level that is just luck...it all depends in the board. Kind of hard to make wraps and clear keys when the colors don't match! Posting for luck!!!

I'm sorry, but in my case (as well as many others, I'm sure) the chocolate IMMEDIATELY eats the UFO even when there's another way out. This is even more discouraging than that freaking chocolate itself, so please edit it. Thanks.

I am tired of being on this level. No matter what advise I follow, I am getting no where fast. There just is not enough moves to get past the level. I will have to wait and pray for a lucky board. I really don't know what else to do since I am now out of boosters.

Blondie blue - you don’t need the helmet, you need a color bomb and a wrap. You can get those from the daily wheel spin. Surely you have that!
I'm sorry you don't have Space Dash but most of us do and Carol's tips are helpful to us.
It is obvious that king wants more and more players to quit. I have played this level for what seems like forever, miserable and boring. After years of playing this game and spending more than I should have, the game just does not improve....it continues to get more boring and frustrating. If you think people are going to spend their hard earned money on something so intolerable, you are badly mistaken.

Finally after almost a week passed this level, I tried choc. Bomb wrap stripe and check with no luck at all

I have no boosters, I don't know what a space dash is and I have now wasted all of the lives I had saved up. I really don't understand how anyone can pass this level ? posting for a very lucky board quickly before I lose interest as this is so very boring over and over and over and over ;(
