Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2991 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have 22 moves to clear the jelly and complete level 2991 Candy Crush Saga.
Your main focus needs to be on clearing the cake bomb in the middle, as there are jellies under it and it will help clear the rest of the jellies too.
From the start look for stripes and stripe/wrap combos, you can use the conveyors to get your specials and combos into position to hit the licorice and the cake.
Once the licorice is gone it won't come back, so you will be able to hit the cake quite easily and it may be possible to make matches next to it too.
Don't worry too much about the chocolate to begin with, it can't cross the conveyor although it can spread upwards once the candies are unlocked. But the chocolate will be cleared by the combos as you clear the cake.

Fortunately, this isn't a difficult level with a little luck. I got it on the third try with no boosters.

Played this level for 1 full hour but was not able to clear the cake even once. Difficult level. Posting for luck
I've been using all my boosters on this level and had to use 2 handswitches to get 2 colourbombs together. This is the trick to pass this level; the 2 colourbombs will destroy the cake and the cake will blow away all the jellies left! Good luck everyone, greet from Holland, Kees.

So how are you supposed to hit the cake when the liquorice (or the candy that replaces it) blocks any stipe or stripe/wrap combo from doing anything? Most times I get to the end of the game and haven’t got rid of any of the cake at all.

This is one stressful level.
This is ridiculous. I’ve used so many boosters and nothing. When will this madness end.
Again I look up tips and find that there are 62 jellies and I have 100 to clear with the same amount of tries. So UNFAIR!
I just realized I must clear 124 jellies with 22 tries. How is this possible?
Finding this one really frustrating. Can't even get close. Trying to get to level 3000 by the end of the month. Need help despertly.
