Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2992 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 17 cream blockers and 22 licorice in 18 moves to complete level 2992 Candy Crush Saga.
The licorice shouldn't cause too many problems as there is already quite a lot on the board at the start of the level. However the blockers can be difficult and you will need a bit of luck to get enough in the moves available.
The first job is to collect the key to unlock the middle column as this is where the lucky candies will drop from to give you the blockers you need.
Making moves in the middle column on the left will bring down the candies in the middle column on the right, this will enable you to collect the key and then the lucky candies will begin to drop from the dispenser in the middle of the board.
Keep making moves in the left section to bring down the lucky candies but be very careful not to make sideways stripes. Sideways stripes can easily change the lucky candies in the middle column into blockers which will prevent the lucky candies from dropping down into play.
Keep a close eye on the top part of the right section also, if you get a blocker near the top this will also stop the candies from dropping so you need to keep it clear.
I found that most of my lucky candies turned into licorice until they were all collected, which makes it very hard to get enough blockers. You need to start getting blockers early in the game to have any chance of collecting enough.

A very tough level. I had to buy extra moves and use a hammer on the last blocker. Many, many tries!
Always too few blockers, even if clearing middle and liquorice quickly and working diligently and even with cascades on the left side (no new candies fell in the middle)

I am so tired of these super difficult levels!! It seems that the majority of levels require boosters if you want to beat them without having to wait for the “lucky/good” board!! Ugh!! Also why is it the higher levels don’t receive all the extra things where you get extra boosters? My daughter is on level 75 or so and she has several different specials right now where she gets extra boosters (aside from the normal ways to earn boosters). I feel like the higher we get the more it’s about us spending money and less concern to making it fun! Definitely less options to earn extra boosters! My ideal game, boards you can beat in one to three attempts and with many opportunities to receive extra boosters. Your commercial about the joy of winning a level after struggling with it for a long time does not equal fun and enjoyment to me!!

Ha ha. Of course your ideal game is to complete right away with free boosters. We don’t ever want to pay for anything. Why should the developers make money? Thry should work for free!!

I'm so fed up with Candy Crush! The game sucks, it's totally based on luck now and all the fun has been sucked out of the game.
Thanks to king, with their insatiable desire to sell boosts and fill their bank account, they have ruined the game. Every level in nearly impossible and requires a lucky screen. Tired of wasting life after life just hoping to get a lucky board. Shit game, shit design with shit levels. I will rejoice when I hit level 3000 so I can extend my middle finger to King and say NO MORE.

This level sucks sorry I have no other words to describe anyway still love candy
So what's the secret to get more blockers. I am always 2-3 short of what is required, and nothing on the board that can be turned into a blocker. This is very boring level. Don't waste boosters on it, just wait for a luck board i guess. Check mark booster seems wasted.
Another stupid level when there aren’t enough moves for the ridiculous requirements. Always having to wait for a lucky board takes the fun out of what used to be a fun game!!
That’s it. I’m done. I too hate what this game has become. Ridiculous. Time suck with no reward. See ya. Don’t even care enough to get to 3000.

Well here we are another level where players are posting for luck and no one is providing any clues how to complete this level because it is basically impossible. Time again for the developers to fix this level. I agree with the commenter that this is no fun anymore and who cares about reaching level 3000? I'm just about done with this game.
I used a colour bomb and a wrap/stripe booster, and switched the colour bomb with the wrapped candy that had the same colour as the key. Needed one hammer to finish it.
I like a challenge, in fact I feel cheated if a level is too easy but this is ridiculous. It's boring

What a horrible level. The fish are completely useless. They don't go after blockers. Check mark boosters are useless also. The only way I think I will make it through is with a lucky board. No fun at all on this one.
Finally made it through after many attempts. Followed advice of those previous posts. Start with cb and a wrapped candy. Reset until wrapped candy is same color as key. Didn't get it right away but finally did. Only way I see of passing.
Made it on the second attempt. Just don’t ever hit a lucky candy in the middle.
