Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2999 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2999 is a jelly level with 30 moves.
Although not easy you need to look for special candies and combos to grow the popcorns down each side. There is jelly under the popcorns so they need to be cleared, but they will give you colourbombs which are helpful for clearing the jelly.
Work as close to the bottom of the board as you can to create cascades, but you need to look at the board very carefully before every move.
Wrapped candies and stripe/wrap combos are great for growing the popcorns as well as clearing the jelly.

truth is....I used to play sometimes several hours on a day, now only my 5 tries and than quit.

Hey king, throw this one out!
Oh so close. Bought extra 15 secs (so generous CC) with gold bars and used my only 2 hammers on last popcorn. And then still ran out of time to smash the jelly. If I’m going to continue then am going to have to have a shed load of hammers and I’m not giving CC a penny for them. So maybe the end of the road for me too
Have never spent a week on one level, much less two, yet here I am. >.<

Ridiculous level. Been on this one for about 3weeks now. Used up all my boosters.
This one doesn't give you enough time, and I hardly get any extra time candies. I think it's time to quit candy crush altogether.

Posted 2 days ago and today cracked level 2999. No boosters to start with just 3 hammers and a switch at the end. Plus a lot of luck with choc sprinkles. Still nearly had a heart attack in the last 5 secs. So it can be done
Went in to play this morning after being stuck for two weeks. Timer is GONE! On IPhone had 30 chances to clear 53 boxes. Passed the level in one try.

Wow,played 2 games b4 noticing that the evil timer had gone and been replaced with 30 moves.Played again til only top left popcorn remaining,used 3 hammers,job done!Maybe King do read comments+e-mails!!!
Holy crap! King listened! After days on this horrid level I decided to give it another whack and lo and behold it is no longer a timed level!! YAY! Thank you King!
After days on this level, this morning the timed feature was removed and I won on the first try.

Spent days on this one. The board changed from timed to regular and I passed. I'm done with CC, it's become stressful instead of fun.
Read the tips gave me an advantage as I knew what would be coming. Got a full stocking then refreshed until I had to bombs together. Luckily board gave me another 2 bombs so I worked to get them together as well. Passed 1st attempt 24 moves left :-)
This was a timed level? I got a moves level and got it easily with thirteen moves left (but I had the stocking booster and used a colour bomb, getting the two adjacent in one move). When did they change it?
This was not a timed level for me. Win easily first time with space dash.
Finally! CC did away with the timer and was able to pass this one. However, I am done with CC. No fun anymore.

Played level 2999 today and it was changed to a regular jelly level. Used the full helmet and passed it first try. What a relief!
My level 2999 is not timed, so there are no lucky candies which is fine I guess. It's not a bad level at all on my desk top even though I haven't passed it yet, but have only 3 or 4 times so far. Cookie has been very helpful and so have so many of all your other comments on how to pass levels. Thank you!!

My suggestion will be that Level 7475 will be the final level ever! Level 7475 will be so much easier than this level.
