Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3016 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
There are only 20 moves to clear the jelly in level 3016.
You really need to be making moves in the top half of the board from the start, this will get the candies moving and cascading as the candies move from the bottom of the board into the top through the portals.
Look for combos as much as you can, you will get a lot of the jelly destroyed by cascades and it is tempting to play fast because of this, it makes the level seem easier than it actually is. Take your time and try to make those combos and you should be able to clear this in a few moves.

Ther is no need to destroy the spawners in the middle of the board and you will only waste moves trying, if they get destroyed while you are playing all good, but they don't really cause too much of a headache if you can't destroy them.

Sorry to put this against an earlier level. On 3018 started Xmas stocking and fish booster. Activated CB and Wrap to start which cleared a considerable amount of the board. Fish useful for the last two corner jellies. Indy
For 3016, I followed Cookie's advice since I have the space booster and reset until the CB's were together. I used a swap to get a horizontal stripe to the right spot to finish the last cake. After that it finished easily.
Again space boosters finished this easily, you dont have to clear the spawners as there is no jelly under them.

Surely a good idea, but on this way I never got a CB. KING don't give all players this luck. So I hope for a lucky board.
I started with a lucky board and a CB/wrap combo. First attempt was successful.
It looks like 3017 is much easier on mobile than on PC. I have to buy extra moves on PC to complete it but was able to pass it on mobile with 8 moves to spare, 3 stars.
Can we please delete comments from people who lie through their teeth and tell us they passed all these levels with one try and no boosters? I'm looking at you, "KK". If they're not lying, they're freaking geniuses, and I doubt that. Why are they accessing the blog, then? This is for people who need help. They need help, but not the kind this blog gives them.

The following was done with the full Space Dash and the help of few more boosters earned while progressing and from the daily spin and calendar (I don't play for sugar drops, I have enouph boosters without it):

What level do you go to to get the stocking/space boosters? I usually go to 6 but is there a closer one retiring less swipes?
I'm actually going to comment on THIS level - what a concept. It absolutely can be done without boosters. I just did it. It wasn't on the first try or anything, you do need a lucky board. The tips are basic ones - concentrate on the "bottom" of the board (top for this level), and make as many wraps as you can, stripes are good too. The cascades make this one go.
It's kind of sad to me that Cookie is now recommending starting levels with double color bombs as the only way to do it. -hbk

Personally I'm stuck on this level-trying to get a cascade going working from the top seems to be the way to go, but so far no luck and no boosters left to use.
I followed Cookie's advice to back out until can start with 2 colorbombs next to each other and concentrated on the top half of the board. Cleared with 2 moves left. No shame in using the boosters the game gives me (for free).

I came here for help on this level because I'm struggling with it and I see that the advice is to start with space dash and another chocolate sprinkle. Well there are those of us who don't get space dash, never got space dash, and don't have the option to ever get space dash! I don't know why King doesn't give it to everyone but it's ridiculous that some of us have gotten this far without it just to be told it's the only way to pass a level. Congratulations to all of you who get it and use it to blast through all the levels on your first try. I guess us unlucky people will just sit around waiting on lucky boards.
This one is really starting to piss me off....no matter what I do, I (first of all) can't get two sprinkles together....secondly, I can't get the cascade to be aggressive enough to make a dent....the best I can do is approximately 23 candies left....if this continues, I might as well quit as there appears no way to get any better...really hoping for the lucky board, but when you aren't even getting close, it is so, so frustrating.
No boosters left.....can't be done....too frustrating....good-bye, Crush....thanks for the memories....

I don't have space dash or mort's helmet or any of that fancy stuff (still don't understand how to get it), but I passed easily using a colour bomb and stripe/wrap and resetting until the colour bomb was next to the wrap.

Martha here. Thought I’d be on this level forever. I tried starting with 2 color bombs next to each other, a color bomb and wrap, nothing worked. I finally got a lucky board, inadvertently destroyed one of the spawners fairly late in the game, and multiple cascades started happening. Had one jelly to go and one move, so finished off with a hammer. So it can be done with minimal boosters...
No boosters, multiple attempts, just had to keep playing until I got the board with the cascades falling.

Not a hard level, I got through in 2 turns, no boosters or special help.
You don't need to blow up the clocks, just concentrate on clearing the jelly.
Abysmal level can’t even get close to clearing the cakes. Time to find a fun game to play. See ya CC!!
Took me a few tries but i completed it . Here is how
Got lucky, but mostly I combined a cb/wrap and that cleared most of the board a lot better than cb/stripe or cb/cb.
