Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3017 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 100 chocolates to complete level 3017 Candy Crush Saga.
There are lots of chocolate spawners around the board, but this is not where the majority of the chocolate will come from, the chocolate will come from the lucky candies that drop from the dispensers as you play.
In order to get the number of chocolates you need you will have to try to create cascades by using colourbombs and wrapped candies as much as possible.
Combos are not easy to come by as there will be a lot of chocolate blocking the board, but single special candies are very easy to make, so use them as soon as you get them to avoid losing them.

Great advice cookie, still have space helmet boosters and all the cascades collected the chocolate easily.

I don't know how many hearts I lost since yesterday, surely over 50, but a really chance to pass this level I never had. I would like to take booster, but I don't have so many. So I am waiting further for a lucky board.
Play this on mobile if you can because it looks like 3017 is much easier on mobile than on PC. I have to buy extra moves on PC to complete it but was able to pass it on mobile with 8 moves to spare, 3 stars.
I'm playing on my iPhone and not getting anywhere close to finishing this level unless I user boosters - and I still didn't pass. Guessing this level is all about the lucky cascade.

Getting very bored with this one!! Lives are gone in a flash!! Not enough moves to complete, this level..... Been playing for days, closest I’ve come is 12 chocolates left.... No boosters even help!! Posting for a lucky board!!

Hint: It worked for me to start with a color bomb next to a wrapper where some of the same colors are next to the popcorn. Setting off the wrapper will in most cases pop the corn 2 times giving you a head start at the all important cascade. Good luck!

This was an interesting level. Thanks to the magic helmet, I was able to set up a candy ball - wrapped combo and won on my first try. But looking at the comments posted, I might just have gotten lucky.

Got a lucky board within the first 10 times of playing, definitely easier on the ipad, no boosters required, just patience and luck.

Bored rigid by this and other levels where skill plays no part whatsoever. Wraps are the only thing which seems to help, as they detonate twice which catches the check mark candies which have just come onto the board. But making them...?!?!?!?!

When you have to collect 100 chocolates and games end with over 50 still to get every time it says everything about this one. Yet again, it’s down to luck and nothing else. Five lives gone within five minutes: not worth the effort really. It’s no good King telling us the boards aren’t fixed and each game relies on the players’ skill. That’s an insult to our intelligence.

I would like to know why there are different number of attempts. I have seen where someone has 16 and another has 14 and I only have 13.

Still here… This might be the most ridiculous level of all. We have to get 100 check mark Candies, flip them to chocolate and then get rid of the chocolate with 13 moves. Absolutely need the lucky board, don’t waste your booster they’re not gonna help PFL
After 4 days, I finally had the opportunity to match a CB and a wrapped candy. That did the trick.

I’m getting really frustrated with this level.
not enough moves again. I get that this is how they make it challenging but with so few moves you go through your lives too quickly. Very boring level. Hope to pass it asap and leave it behind me. None of the hints have worked for me and I'm now out of boosters so I'll just have to hope for the elusive lucky board.
