Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3020 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have 25 moves to collect 20 yellow candies from the lucky candies which are on the board. There are 21 lucky candies so one to spare.
The secret to passing this level is to clear the cake bomb, this will unlock the locked candies and change any unlocked lucky candies into yellows.
From the start you need to be looking for stripes and wraps to make the combos that will help clear the cake. Colourbombs are useful, but not as useful as stripe/wrap combos unless you can switch them with a stripe or another colourbomb.
Once the cake is cleared you can see what is needed and carefully collect the rest of the yellows.

Unlike cookie i cleared the blockers and with combos collected tge yellows without breaking the cake.

One more thing, for those of you, who think that I am buying and using tons of boosters, I can't prove it (unless King will confirm…), but, here is my word (and I proved with the screenshot that it worth something):

I used quite a few too many free boosters in several levels of this episode. I'm trying to stay enthusiastic about playing CC. I thought many levels were boring, but I'm too stubborn (or maybe just plain OCD) to quit now that I've gotten this far with no cost. Besides, I'd miss y'all too much. Happy 2018 to all!
Yep, easy level, it brought the fun back to Candy Crush, a Christmas gift from King.

Air travel Tuesday after a -34° Celcius (-44 C windchill) visit in Alberta. Glad to be home playing CC again. Finished this episode yesterday afternoon. Mostly an enjoyable one and bonus "no timed levels". Finished all levels first try except 3011 two tries and three stars on all except 3019 two stars. So I believe you Gil. I have done the same on a couple of episodes thanks to Magic and Space Dash and use very few of my own boosters anymore. Til next Wednesday "Happy New Year" to everyone!

I did have my doubts I admit, having struggled with some levels all the way through,(except early on). I am impressed by your skill. Thanks for the proof. Doubt I'd ever see a golden trail like that any other way. I know I will never manage it. Well done!
Completing each level on this episode on the first go is quite doable. Several crushers were able to do it (Gil, Carlton, and KK to name a few). I did it, too, as well as the last episode on the first go. I just did not get 3 stars on all of them—one two-star level in the last episode and two one-star levels in this episode, the rest three stars.

Why do we have to wait until Wednesday? The PC version usually started on Monday and the mobile version on Wednesday. Now, both versions have stopped at 3020! What's up with that?
I wish they would bring back Odus the owl and Dreamworld. At least we could amuse ourselves with that while we waited.

Won 3 hours of free CC......been playing this level for 3 hours not even close....my eyes are tired.....not an easy level.

Been stuck here for almost a week... I may have to quit CC.
I passed this level with magic dash and wrapped booster. I reset the board until two wrapped candies were closest to the cake. Boom. Cake cleared in one move. Then it was easy picking off the yellows.
25 moves and many attempts, no luck!!!!
I've been playing and playing. Can't get anywhere. Luck please.
Got 9 first time pass crowns in a row yesterday, then had to stop. My full spaceship disappeared, so playing boosterless, and having trouble with this one. Gil's feat of so many in a row is easier with added boosters.

Cc has gotten awful my boatd no longer let's me skip bad boards so I'm stuck. Luck wont do enough to keep me here without resets. Anyone else have this problem?

If you are reading these comments in 2021, don't read the first 50 comments. Those players played with Space Dash or Mort's Helmet which is like the bag of goodies you get when you pass a level you start next level with color bomb. If you pass that level on 1st try you start next level with more boosters and so on. Difference is they could go back and play easy peasy levels, get all the goodies and come back to play this level starting with like 5 boosters. They could also reset the phone to get boosters next to each other without losing a life. So yes it would be easy for gus to beat every level on this episode on first try with 3 stars. Those were the good ole days. King stopped those cheat tricks (not saying anyone cheated, I did it when I could and wish I still could.) Just saying, don't compare your game to theirs because we are stuck waiting for lucky board, bored.

Thanks Kim for that info back in 2021. I always wondered what happened to those little cheats and boosters we no longer get. As for this level? totally sucky. Yet another buy more moves board, one of way too many in this 3000+ level. Once again I'm not buying (pun intended) into that. So I guess I wait till King decides I've been driven to frustration enough and gives me the lucky board. What I hate most about these with so few moves is that you go through your lives so quickly and it appears many of my friends have sensibly stopped playing already.
