Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2583 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to score as many points as possible in 20 moves to complete level 2583 Candy Crush Saga. You will know how many points you need at the start of the level, I can't be sure as I had already passed it as a timed level several months ago so my target score was not the true one you will see.
Start by clearing some of the blockers to open up the board and give you more space to work, then look for chances to make special candies, especially colourbombs.
Be careful when you use colourbombs, I would save them until the last few moves because once you clear the stripes in the left side of the board you will get countdown bombs dropping and they have only a five move countdown, so will quickly kill the game if you can't clear them. Remember you have to use up all the moves, so if the bombs count down to zero you will lose the game no matter how many points you have scored.
You need the bombs to get the score, but it doesn't matter if you leave them to the last few moves because you'll only need to clear one or two with colourbombs to easily get the score needed.
Don't quit before the end if your score is too low as any special candies you leave on the board will detonate and the score will still count after you have used up all your moves.

Thank you for the hint, Cookie! It was perfect. We need 38,000 points and I ended up with 114,000 just by leaving the stripes in the left column alone and holding onto the sprinkles until the last 5 moves. It worked like a charm!
No bombs now.
