Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3389 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 20 fish and clear all the blockers to complete level 3389 Candy Crush Saga. At the time of writing there are 24 moves to complete the game, but this is likely to be reduced as it seems a lot of moves.
All you really need to do to complete level 3389 is to make a couple of stripe/wrap combos or double wrap combos and hit the fishing floats with them. The floats will give you the fish you need and the fish will collect the blockers you need. Once the blockers in the middle are cleared the candies will drop through the portals and into the bottom part of the board so if you make moves in the bottom section you will get cascades which will help make the combos you need.
If you are not able to make the combos to begin with, making stripes to hit the blockers along the middle will be helpful as this will allow candies to drop and it will be easier for you to get the cascades going.
Although there are 24 moves to begin with the video below was completed in 10 moves.

Fun and easy level. As Cookie said, all you need is a couple of wrap/stripe combos near the floats; if you can make one let it go over on the conveyor so it's right next to a float so you get both the vertical and horizontal blast and that'll give you plenty of fish. When I played it there were only 3 colors so combos were very easy to make. I finished this with 15 moves left.

Can anyone get 3 stars on this level? I’ve played it numerous times, and even completing the level in a handful of moves, still only scores 1 star! In fact, I seem to score less and less!

It's easy to make special candies but tricky to get them near the floats to create fish. Make sure you work at the bottom of the board to get them to drop onto the conveyer so you can move them close to the floats. Good luck!
14 moves on iPhone now. Stripe wrap combo got most of the requirements done. Setting off a wrap beside the top two fish finished it off. Kept watching the score rise as no stars were lit up, and still no stars after the 10 moves worth of boosters finished it up. Score was probably near 70,000 but no stars. Then said I completed level (yeah!) and gave me an even 100,000 score and 1 Star. Some days I’ll just take whatever they give me...

Well not an easy level for me! Came close one time when I got 2 color bombs together but nothing after that. Just not having the opportunity to make anything but stripes going down!
I think this is one of the most boring levels I have come across.

i do not have the ability to pt two colorbombs together, so i put a colorbomb wrap combo, when there were plenty of other colors that matched on the board.this cleared the blockers, then took cookies advice and played near the bottom, this seemed to make the fish swim more, just as the cascades started. still only one star . hang in there and good luck.
Are the players on holliday or did they quitt this level and game, i think the last, cause i think the same way.

To be honest, this level has no stratigy, Haha, the cc game does not has any stratigy at all. I dont know this game, So for me no fun playing this game. My interest in cc is none. My interest to play this game is now zero. I need positivy, no stress.

Absolutely impossible game. 14 moves only. Every stripe or wrap I can make explodes immediately with no reason at all. But in the mean time I had to see almost hundred advertisments this last few days.

I cannot get past this level. I have been trying for days now and I am not sure what it is that I am doing wrong. I need a lucky board and I need one asap. This is a difficult level for me. Please lucky board come and pay me a visit soon and help me off this level.

If you can get a wrap/stripe combination at bottom (or anywhere) beside the center column, you are well on your way
