Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3440 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to clear the blockers to complete level 3440 Candy Crush Saga.
You don't have many moves so to make each move effective it is better to work at the bottom of the board to create cascades which will help clear more blockers as the candies drop to fill the spaces.
Even though you want to be making moves at the bottom you still need to check the rest of the board for chances to make special candies and combos.
Use the conveyor to get combos together or to get candies into position to make stripes, wraps and colourbombs.
Colourbombs on their own are not very effective, but switched with a stripe or a wrap they will be really useful for clearing the blockers.

Although I completed all the levels in these 2 episodes on the first go except 3423 and 3440 (2 tries), there are several levels that are quite challenging that I would not have completed them without using boosters. These 2 episodes depleted my hammers and hand switches on my iPad and Samsung tablets that I have to use my computer to complete the second episode.

Check mark definitely helped with the last level. I’m glad to see Rick, that I am not the only one who ended up using a lot of hammers and switches in order to finish both episodes. I don’t know if I can keep up the pace of dealing with two episodes every other week. I’m playing for sugar drops daily to replenish my hammers and switches. I only play on my IPad but maybe I should start stocking up on boosters on my phone too. Anyway - hope everyone has a great weekend. Til next Wednesday.
Stuck on last level, wonder why the fish do not eat the blockers on this level?
To Bear with me, I have to play for sugar drops, too, to replenish my boosters. I don't play it everyday because it takes about an hour to collect the 180 to get the lollipops and/or hand switches. Before I played the 2 episodes I had only about 6 each on my iPad and 9 each on my Samsung tablet and less than 20 each on the PC. The rewards are doubled on the PC that is why I have more there. Mobile is more convenient though, because I can play for sugar drops anywhere in the house, unlike on the PC where you have to sit in front of it.
Complete two episode this week . Pass level 3440 . Waiting for next episode next week .
Anyone on level 3477? Can't figure how to make the check candies come out. May have to use a check booster. Hate using boosters if I don't have to.
When playing for sugar drops, I play on the King Website as they double the number collected if you win the level. Best levels for me are 1476, 1168, 1137 & 666, almost always fill the sugar track by playing just these 4 levels & can fit in 2 sugar tracks a day.
Rick, how can you get 28/30 the first time?? That's over 90%!!! I do well to get 15/30 and not even that. These last two episodes I got exactly half on the first go.

To Msnega I am stuck on 3477 and even using my check booster I never got enough. I just wasted a bunch of them[boosters].
Doing 2 episodes every other week..I'm not waiting
..i have noticed that when there is one episode it tends to be rather easy but when there are 2 the levels are much harder..if you are going to do 2 episodes how about one on Wed and one on sat or sun....but one per week is the preferred choice..

Go back and read his post..he basically depleted his supply of hand switches and hammers and other boosterz..many times you just want to get through and not have to play that level again

Whew...this last episode was brutal. I didn't think the first episode was as hard as the second, though there were a few very difficult levels. I started with about 26 hand switches and lollipops and have 7 left of each so will also be playing for sugar drops.

I don't spend my spare time playing for sugar drops (boring!) and still manage to get by with boosters from Didi, helmets, space dash and drops that come when playing the levels.

Hi Carlton and Bear with me - I'm here. Finished both episodes by Wednesday around 8:30 pm. In another province visiting and never posting when I finished.
Like never pay a cent Bobby, I never play for sugar drops just the ones I collect while playing an episode. Treat calender, Didi and Rami, star challenge, daily wheel
all provide enough. Luckily I have hundreds that have added up since Magic and Space Dash. Hope we don't have two episodes next week.

Hi everyone! I finally made it although I was ready to call it quits at 3435! I certainly depleted my store of hammers. I was also ready to quit when I saw two episodes lined up on Wednesday. I have also been having to play on my older iPad which got a little wonky last week. The first episode was definitely more enjoyable than the last. Yes, the weather has improved and I have been on the golf course at last. I have a wonderful group of golfing friends and I also volunteer at our hospital where I have other buddies. It's friends who keep me going as y'all have done in our CC group. I'm glad to see some new names here along with the faithful helpers who have helped me through.
First, can you take your personal comments to each other somewhere else? I go to this site to get advice or ar least commiserate with those who are struggling. Also, if you finished really quickly, are you here to brag? We all know the game is 90% luck. What I would like to know is how do you win using the check mark? I only get one per game. It is useless. Do you think they have changed this one?

I don’t understand why some people have to get nasty on this site. It’s just a game. What’s the difference between commiserating with fellow crushers or expressing relief when you have successfully passed an episode? That’s not bragging, and the people you are slamming are some of the ones Who have been providing tips for a very long time.
As far as check marks are concerned, how many you get is pretty random but in general I usually get several at least and find them helpful.
I’m having trouble with this one. When I use a Checkmark, it only gives me blockers, not helpful at all.

How do I play on king website
The object of this level is to collect 85 blockers. So of course the checkmark booster is going to give you blockers. What else would it give you?
My Android version is different from what is shown. There are 5 colours on my board. It is near to impossible to create enough combos to clear this level.
Everyone has had five colours since it came out on mobile.

Another boring & tedious level!! Used up all my lucky candies, hammers, & hand switches on this level!! Makes no difference. What a waste of boosters. You either have to buy extra moves. Or be sick & tired of waiting for the lucky board!!

Wow. Can't believe how nasty some folks are. If you don't like it, scroll on past and don't read the comment. I for one like both the tips people post and the back and forth between the "Wednesday club". Sure beats the constant "posting for luck".
I somehow managed to get a few wraps and stripes and towards the end, got two CBs next to each other but even then, I had to use some of my gold bars to buy 3 hammers to finish this level. Nasty episode!

I never read the first several comments because I know who they belong to, they are small minds with big egos.
To Karen- they brag because they beat the whole episode in 1 day with SD and/or 2 color bombs combined.
I don't have SD and can be stuck on the same level for 2-3 days so I also don't want to hear how they went thru the whole EPISODE in 1 day. I already know how they did it. They have the same tips on the last 200 post!

Beyond ticked off on this level. Had 4 left to get ran out of moves but got a free spin which gave me 15 extra moves, then the game froze froze. Posting for luck and patience now
Enough already with the candy canes. Always far short 5 or so candies. Will definitely need a lucky board or will be on this level another day.

Tried 4 times..looked hopeless.. I read these comments ..next try started with 3 color bombs...don't use immediately... work from the bottom & utilize cascades..use bombs on a color that has only a count of 1 ...stay cool & watch carefully..ended with with 4 moves to spare
