Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3686 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
First get rid of the chocolate to give you more space to work, then you can start to look for special candies and combos as you clear the blockers out of the way.
You need to hit the popcorns with stripes and combos to grow them into colourbombs, when they turn into colourbombs they will drop down into the bottom section together and you can switch them together to clear the jelly in the bottom half of the board where there are no candies.
You can make your own colourbombs to clear the jelly, but there is no point trying to make a double colourbomb combo when you have one already on the board in the shape of the popcorns. There is jelly under the popcorns so they have to be cleared so you may as well use any colourbombs you make for clearing the jelly in the top of the board.

Note what Cookie said about colour balls showing up (made from popcorn) in the middle of the board. They are not surrounded by candy. When you get 2 of them put them together and the "candyless" jelly is gone.
Only 25 moves now! Started with a sprinkle and a wrapped and finished with 2 moves left. That was tough!

King decreased amount of moves from 35 to 22. Are the developpers insane, sick, etc?
In Cookie's video when she turned the popcorns into ColorBombs they fell down into the bottom middle. She combined them and the board cleared.
When I turned my 2nd popcorn into a CB it disappeared !!!
Nowhere near enough moves yet again. This has turned into such a boring game.

On my last move, got to the last two jellies - both purple, and had a colour bomb - BUT it wasn't b a purple jelly, and I had no hands left. Naturally, they didn't clear! Posting for luck . . .

Oh man Oh man. This is a hard one. I have been here for a week now and I have yet to even get on the bottom half of the board. I am not sure if I will ever get off of this one without a little help. I need a lucky board and fast. Please send one my way.

This is a joke. Not nearly enough moves. Impossible to get bottom jellies, they are continually blocked by licorice. Rarely get any specials...if I am lucky enough to get a stripe its horizontal and not vertical. Wouldn't help anyway as there is never ending licorice....this level sucks, sucks, sucks

Why is this such a hard level for me?
I read these comments and wonder why anyone would quit because they can’t pass a level. This level may be my Waterloo. I’ve tried every way I know how to pass this level. All the stripes are vertical or on the bottom of the board — rarely in the middle where they do good. If the colorbombs do fall to the middle bottom there are always one or two squares in the top corners that have no chance of breaking. I’m ranting like so many others but won’t quit — yet!!
22 moves makes this impossible without boosters. This is the first time I've commented in 3 years and 3000+ levels. It took a stripe/wrap combo, two hammers and a spaceship to get it. I hope the developer is listening
**Update** As soon as I posted my “rant”, I passed this level. I did use boosters but who cares, I passed. Keep at it, you’ll do it too. I take every chance to get free boosters I can get.
I noticed on Cookies game she not only had a lucky board but it took 33 moves to complete yet we are expected to clear it in 22 moves. I've had a lucky board where I had good moves and sprinkle boosters yet I still had a popcorn left and therefore couldn't complete the game. Well all I can do is keep trying.

Horrible level
I've cleared the popcorn 3 times, still have 2 corner jellies left that were under blockers tho. Not enough moves, no boosters cos you can't win much anymore. Also no option to spin to for extra moves. Just 10 gold bars as payment. I'm not paying to pass, it should be beatable without boosters, otherwise it's not really worth playing...

Cracked it, 22 moves and 4 to spare. Used ALL lifelines and got through first time, worth it to get past this dreadful level.

Only 22 moves but the video shows 33 I got two bombs together myself but even after using them I still had jellies to get but no more moves please candy crush give me more moves otherwise I'll never get through this horrible level
Level 3686 is different from the one you give hints. The one I have has 102 moves and there are no popcorns.
