Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3687 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3687 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
All you have to do to complete the level is to destroy the three spawners! Easier said than done!
You will need a fair amount of luck with the candies to clear this level as it is very restricted by licorice and waffles dropping from the top as well as the spawners locking the candies in licorice.
You need some good combos, which you need to make early in the game before the board starts to be locked up, stripe/wrap combos are good and colourbomb/stripe combos will be useful too. It isn't easy to make the combos as the board is very restricted and nothing ever seems to open it up very much.
If you can make a double colourbomb combo this will clear the licorice and hit the spawners, but it won't clear the waffles so you will still have those to contend with.
I would suggest you stock up with boosters from the sugar drops and the helmet or spaceship for this level as it relies almost entirely on luck or boosters.
Below is a video made without boosters by Johnny Crush, but it is a very lucky game and I haven't been able to get past needing one spawner without boosters.

Ridiculous level. You can't begin to stay ahead of the licorice or waffles, even with combos. Another one of these levels that simply requires pure luck to pass.

I had a lot of trouble with this one. Would often get one spawned but that was all. Then l discovered that l could quickly retreve the sp dash and after a few tries I got it. Used a few hammers switches

After a bunch of tries with all boosters firing, I finally added a spaceship that I had won in the color bomb contest and used it when I had cleared two but knew I wouldn’t make the last one. It worked, so good luck all

Won with 12 moves left, but it was in the beginning not easy. Lost my space dash, tried many times without or my own boosters. Could not get rid of even one spawner! Went back to 606 and played it several times for getting at least helmet again (changed meanwhile from dash to helmet). Read all advices here. Tried it with double CB (one CB was my own booster). During the game, could only make one wrap/stripe combo, but tried to hit a spawner when possible with "normal 3". Did not look good after 15 moves!!! But had some vertical stripes then, so the left and right spawner were gone soon. And was VERY lucky with a wrap falling next to the bottom spawner. Could set off the wrap with a lucky CB in the same color .. And this was it.
Very simple. Pay or stay. So boring.

Good Grief, this is a bugger! At 3681 my lives got drained to zero and the timer for new lives was set to over 105,000 hours (that is over 12 years!) So after a couple frustrating days, I uninstalled CC, then reinstalled it which fixed my lives issue, saved my gold bars, but lost all my boosters. And there is really no sense in playing this level without a few hand switches and hammers. And I agree a flying saucer would be the most helpful, but I'm not sure how to get one, I tried level 2000, but didn't get one. Any advise? Crush On! ~Katrina

Impossible! Just to wait for a lucky board
Now these levels are impossible without boosters and Space Dash. It feels like King is punishing people for having used the SD/ Helmet glitch. It was nice to at least have a chance. I have to thank King because now I play my 5 lives and walk away. Much more time for other more important things. I don’t get irritated if I can’t pass a level. I know when King wants me to pass it will let me. Meh. That being said, can I have a lucky board please?
Ok. Seriously King. This level is a joke. No possible way to pass this without boosters or SD. You need to give your loyal oldies a break. You are making money hand over fist. Give us a chance.
Not only is this level virtually impossible without paying for boosters, it’s not even fun. Getting seriously close to deleting this app

This must be the most impossible and boring level ever, if I don't get a lucky board soon I'm done with it, life's too short, fed up scrolling to 606 every time I lose a life just to get boosters and lose them again.

So just a question to my fellow crushers, did King change management again, did it get sold or something because the format has changed? I used to get lots of opportunities to watch videos for extra lives, get free CB for an hour at a time, ablility to retain SD. Now they are so stingy with handing out any extra booster. What’s the problem, they get lots of revenue from ads, why make levels a pay or stay?
These new levels are just booster wasters. I’m done trying. I play my five and then get back to my life till tomorrow.
King just cause it’s a long weekend you feel the need to slow people down. You know this level is impossible. I have tried with full Sd, Helmet , double CB, all my boosters, extra time, I have no hammers or switches. This sucks, can’t wait till you guys get back to the office.
Let’s nerf this thing so we at least have a chance.
Once again a level where you just aimlessly move candies around not getting anywhere. This game is really getting boring now. I can’t even be bothered playing this level more than a couple of times a day, not even running out of lives before I get bored.

Dear King! Update on IOS today and I thought you would have fixed this ridiculous level, but no - still impossible. Only way to pass is probably to pay... and that is not a way to build a relationship. So King, I guess it's offical, we are finally through. We had 3686 nice levels together, well ok, you did stumble a few times but that was OK. You always came around and made it good again! Now I'm not having a fun time anymore - so I want a divorce! Thank you for the time we had together, I need to get on with my life and will remove your things from my iPad asap.

I always laughed reading comments “this is impossible - I am quitting” , having got this far with never having spent a cent on this game. At this level I think I am quitting. Full space dash with double CB and everything, tried about 8 times, it is impossible. Bye, Candy Crush!

I think I’m done too! There is nothing relaxing and fun anymore. This level has finally done me in. When the frustration level is too high, and all the boosters in the world don’t help, what’s the point? If the game creators haven’t figured that out yet, then they are stupid.

Been on this now for over a week. I have thrown everything at it including SD and every booster I have. Nothing comes close. I don’t have lots of hammers, you need to hit the the spawners 5 times for them to break but the licorice multiplies so fast and furious that the spawners are always blocked. I have managed to break 2 spawners but nowhere near the last one. It’s impossible until King decides to give me a lucky board.
Same here. Have played this level hundred times and used all the boosters and combinations but haven't even got close. The licorice keeps multiplying and the waffles keep dropping. It's getting frustrating now. Need a lucky board posting for luck again

The waffles are just so horrible, I don't even understand how King would think we would spend money to a level you will never get!!! I guess it's one of those that when they decide to let you pass than they will :((((
I am unable to reset and have lost several helmets. Now it is almost impossible to pass these levels. I refuse to pay another penny on additional boosters with the reset gone
Goodbye, Candy Crush. Now that King has fixed all of the "glitches", it just isn't fun anymore. Guess I will have to find something else to play on my breaks at work. Already uninstalled. Anyone have suggestions as to what other games might be as distracting as Candy Crush used to be?

Sad to read I'm not alone. I can get rid of 1 spawner every time. Maybe once I got a 2nd spawner but now that feels like it was a dream... Guess I'll play 4 lives then use last one to play lower levels for sugar drops. It'll be Groundhog's Day for me til I get a lucky board. Know it has nothing to do with how I play. I swear sometimes I hit them 10 times and nothing happens. Other times they explode out of nowhere. Thought it was supposed to be 3 special hits or 5 regular hits?
What a joke this level is. You finally make special candies only to have them frozen in the marmalade. You get the licorice unlocked only for a brief time blocking you from using your special combos .
Finally made it. Took SD, another color bomb from raising that pet thing, a stripe/wrap booster, and a switch and hammer booster. Used the last two as soon as I killed the 2nd spawner. Afraid I wouldn't get that close again so switched a wrap into hitting distance and the hammer to set it off... only had one move left. Whew! That was not fun.
I quit CC for 2 years and then my sister told me about the Space Dash, so I came back for 6 months. Think I'll be taking another long break. Thanks for all the fun CC!
For the first time ever I paid $ to King for boosters to pass level 3680 (after weeks of failing), and twice more, a total of about $10 to play 7 levels. Now I'm stuck, again, out of boosters, and unable to get anywhere close (I've yet to clear a single spawner). I'm done. Not paying $2 or $5 *per level* to play CC. $10 should be about what you'd pay for the *game* - not for 7 levels of the game. Definitely not paying hundreds into this. It's not fun anymore, definitely not "relaxing to swipe the stress of the day away" - it's just stupid now. Goodbye.

Obviously the game designers at King are ghouls who enjoy designing impossible levels that will infuriate the nice folks who play their game. Don't know why I stick around for this crap. I'm the sucker and they know it, which makes me eve more upset.
Four weeks on this level now. I come back once a day to check if this level has been nerfed but still impossible to play. Only once I got two spawners. Well I quit smoking so I can also quit CC. Thanks for a few years of fun. No thanks for the last four weeks
This morning it seemed as though they'd maybe made the level a little easier - wasn't getting quite as filled as quickly, but still never once close to finishing. This afternoon, after going back to fill a Space Dash, I kept resetting till I got two colorbombs next to each other, and then had probably the worst game I've had on this level, and it never got better - suddenly I can't get more than a couple of moves before the board is completely filled with licorice and waffles and locks.
How do you reset the board?
Four weeks on this level now. I come back once a day to check if this level has been nerfed but still impossible to play...I saw the level is now called nightmarish :-( .... no comment no interest !

I’m convinced King controls your progress to slow you down with ridiculous levels like this one. They try to frustrate you into paying to move ahead. Never paid to play any game, never will. Only drives me to play a different game from another company! 😕
I've drastically cut back on my time playing this game since getting to this level about a week ago. Today, playing for the first time for almost 24 hours, everything fell into place and I passed with moves to spare. Only booster was a sprinkle after watching an ad. I think CC is watching me, and gave me a good board because I hadn't been playing as much. Same thing has happened before.
I have no idea if I was incredibly lucky or if they've made this easier but I passed on the first try with no boosters I was able to make several wrapped candies which helped tremendously

Started with a colour bomb/stripe and was very careful at every move. It worked :)
Did it after a few tries without boosters.
First go with 22 moves left. You need a stripe wrap in the middle of the board for your first move, that opens up all the spawners for attack.

Please don't hate me but I passed on my first attempt WITHOUT using boosters and not getting any CBs.
It was many stripes, wraps and mostly stripe/wrap combos hitting 2 or all 3 clocks at once.
Are we ever gonna get to collect boosters again ???
