Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3688 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3688 is a jelly level which is harder than it looks. All you have to do is clear the jelly in the main playing area and collect the four keys from the top of the board.
You can ignore the jelly on the left side of the board, you can't clear it so don't waste moves trying.
Collecting the keys unleashes three striped yellow candies which switch together, clear the jelly on the left and hit the stripes at the top left, they will clear the jelly from the top of the board.
This all sounds very easy and if things go your way it can be easy. You need vertical stripes or combos to unlock and collect the keys, a colourbomb will help also. All the time you are doing this the chocolate will be eating your candies and spoiling your moves.
The chocolate is the biggest problem as the board is not very big and the chocolate can move quickly to cover the candies. You don't have enough moves to waste them chasing chocolate, so you have to hope that your combos will keep it under control while you are working on collecting the keys.

Thanks so much to everyone for their assistance in migrating. I joined Facebook and have requested to join the Wednesday Club. My boosters didn't come with me so I can play for sugar drops twice daily and build them up again. Thanks so much for all the help. Indy

How can you get 2 cb's together when you can no longer reset the game, trying to do so only only comes up with the option to quit which losses a life!!!
Finally at level 3688 decided it is no longer fun or challenge as levels can only be passed with lots of boosters and extra lives so decided to quit, bye everyone, uninstalling now.
It's boring with a the restricted board 5x5 in order to get combos that clear the keys.

Without boosters you are lucky to make even one stripe candy, so monotonous.
I just discovered that this one is doable with boosters, using a colourbomb and wrapped candy. Just keep exiting the game until you have a CB next to a wrapped candy that’s the same colour as one of the keys.

Another 1 in 100 chance of getting the right board. Double color bomb will only unlock them. Still need to get stripes or stripe wrap/color bomb to then get them and the candies coming down constantly explode whatever I set up. Feeling defeated and losing interest quickly as it seems all these advanced boards are set up to keep you occupied while new games are created.
I play on PC and have never had the reset option. I consider it a cheat.
Why are moves slashed from 20 to 17 give me a freaken break you guys are sooooooo dishonest despicable and DEFINITLY haven’t a clue how to run an app Point for successful apps is happy players have u bothered to look at the remarks did I say to hand the levels out no but the dishonestly involved here is so crued and juvenile u should be embarrassed to be that far off....how about getting an adult to run this app

Used 4 hammers and plenty of boosters and still did not pass level! Wth I am totally frustrated with this stupid level have been trying for 2 days! Come on King don’t be so stingy with lucky boards! I am totally fed up!
Now down to 17 moves and in the video there were 20 moves and it was completed with 2 moves remaining so it took Cookie 18 moves to complete it...and that was with a lucky board with cascades creating a color bomb next to a stripe. Imagine the chances of beating this level with 3 fewer moves and no boosters. Pure greed on the part of the King to force you to buy boosters or wait until you get a lucky board.

Even had sprinkle balls next to each other and it STILL didn’t clear this hellish level🤬🤬🤬. Seriously I am SO bored with this I am ready to quit because I have never spent a cent and will never spend a cent on this game.
I have tried using double chocolate sprinkles on more than one occasion and still nothing. I have been on this game for days now and not getting anywhere near finishing. PLEASE,PLEASE PUT THE FUN BACK IN THUS GAME. LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE.

I started with a CB/WRAP combo with the same color as a key, it cleared the keys and just left me with 15 jellies to get, I got 14.
tried again this time I only needed 9, I got 8. I thought it was a good strategy but maybe not, now I have to wait till tomorrow.

This game sucks!!!! Its rigged to take your money! That is all this game is good for! No skill! Luck only for the rest of the way! Do yourself a favor stop playing because this game because will just piss you off! You wont be able to pass until you give money or king decides to give a lucky board!
This level is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE! Not enough moves! And boring!!!! Cheaters!!! Reducing moves so you can make a buck!!! Ridiculous!

I really do wish it was as easy as they make it sound. I don't even come close to getting thru it. I need a lucky board to come my way as soon as possible. I think that is going to be the only thing that saves me here. So come on along lucky board and give me a boost.

There are only 17 moves for this level. I'm hoping for lots of luck.
This is not listed as a hard level but it is. there are only 17 moves, not 20. You have 5 different colors on 27 spaces or less with the chocolate; almost all stripe candy are horizontal not vertical; this is all luck level. Most of the time the board will reshuffle "out of possible matches" so you end up getting to the keys with 3 or 5 moves left. The odds of passing without boosters is ridiculous. The closest I came, I had one jelly left and was down to 1 move and had no boosters. I would have to buy the extra moves and at this point in time, not feasible. Hoping for a lucky board soon.

Even after several days playing this, I'm making no progress on this at all. Never hit all the keys; never exposed any of the yellow stripes in the left square. I barely clear any of the spots on the left at all. The licorice are too quick to come back and block everything from hitting. Discouraged.
I nearly done it just 1 gel left I felt like screaming & I wasn't gonna waste 10 gold for 1 gel, a bomb & wrapper done it I thought but couldn't get 1 gel arghhhh
