Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3742 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3742 is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherry and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
There are several stripe dispensers around the board, these will give you the stripes needed to collect the keys, which in turn will open up the board and release the cherry. You need to collect the keys fairly quickly to give you the best chance of clearing the jelly, so concentrate on them to begin with.
Once the board is opened up you need to look for the most powerful combos you can make, the stripes will still be dropping so try to switch them with a wrap or better still a colourbomb.
You need a bit of luck, especially at the start as you need to be able to make moves in both sides of the board to open it up as you are collecting the keys.
You can forget about the ingredient, if you clear the jelly it will be collected, there is no need to do anything apart from clearing the jelly and the cherry will find it's way to the exit.
Look carefully at the board so you don't miss any chances to make colourbombs and wrapped candies, but don't waste moves making wraps or stripes if they are not going to be helpful.

This one was very hard for me. Needed a UFO, 2 hands and 3 lollipops
Started with 2 CBs together (SD) plus extra fish booster and needed one hand switch toward the end.
Finding it hard to get the keys. Posting for luck.

I used way too many boosters trying to pass this level. I finally passed it but it didn't Advance me. I have to play this stupid level again. Way to go King. Way to suck all of my boosters out of me for nothing!
How have you all got so many boosters I seem to very rarely get gold bars and never won a jackpot on the free spin...
Really need a lucky board for this level. By the time I can get by the spawned a I am out of moves

Taking a break from 3742 to write this. After having 3 different payment methods eventually declined for triggering fraud alert. (Who would believe a person would voluntarily spend this much money on a game?) I finally realized that the problem was not which payment method to use, but rather how can I continue to play CCS (canNOT quit, I've tried) without paying.
I have had to accept the fact that I will most-likely no longer be able to stay current level-wise, nor will I be able to maintain my mostly 3-star status.
However, one thing that I find very helpful is to occasionally check this website for what a successful level looks like. Providing the number of moves matches. That will have to do. The other thing is to occasionally try on my phone, rather than from facebook.
Need a break. Fed up...this is IMPOSSIBLE.

Why has level 1168 decreased the amount of plays by so many? Was a good level for sugar drops but isn't anymore. What's up with that. :(

Having trouble getting the last 1or 2 jellies....not an easy level...not enough moves..frustrating...waiting once again, for a lucky board :-(

Funny level, but... IMPOSSIBLE. Lots of times wasn't able to clear the Keys. But having them cleared, even with 20 moves left, impossible to clear the Jelly.
i sure miss the wednesday club. no one ever gives tips on how to pass .. they just bitch here on this site now.
i think it is useless to start with boosters .. i reset board until i had a move under the first key. only concentrate on one key at a time. but if you cannot get a get make the move take out some hard to get jelly if you can. i got all the keys and the ingredient dropped out . left with three jellies in the board .. i smashed them gladly.. happy this level is over!! good luck all.
Why is this level not considered a hard level? Pass hard levels after a few tries but these "easy" levels are impossible! Are they mis-labeled?
