Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3871 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3871 is a score level, you have to score at least 666,000 points to complete the level.
First of all don't use loads of boosters to start this level, they will take away the bombs but won't give the score needed. A colourbomb booster is the only one that will help much.

First make moves above the spawners to clear them before they block the board with cream blockers. At the same time look for chances to make colourbombs.
You have to clear the bombs before they count down and colourbombs are the best way to do this as it will also give you the score needed. You won't get the score if you clear the bombs using other combos and whatever you do DON'T switch a colourbomb with a stripe or a wrap as this will change some of the bombs and you won't get the score.

Once the spawners are cleared any remaining bombs will drop down into the spaces within the candy canes where they are easier to clear, but by then you should have mostly cleared them. Using a colourbomb on an orange candy will detonate the wrapped candies and these will clear a lot of the bombs from the sides of the board.
Getting the score can be hard, but clearing the bombs can be even harder.
You can start the level with a colourbomb if you are struggling and use it on the colour that has the most bombs.

There are some bloody liars making games as no bombs drop when first lot finish if you are finished with skills at least be gentlemen and stop making further level rather than being a cheat
I'm not getting any bombs after I get rid of the one's at the beginning & I don't have the orange wraps as shown, I have 2 floaters in their place plus target is 666000. So I'm finding it impossible to pass! Any ideas!

This level is a perfect example of how annoying this game has become. King realized that the level was not selling any boosters so they arbitrarily raise the target hoping to make more $ that way. Now this level is impossible without using 150 party boosters! I have been played for a fool too long and I am totally done! This was the last straw!
I agree with the posters above. Target of 666,000 is impossible. I used all boosters and bought 5 sets of lives and was not close to finishing. I am done with candy crush..

I've passed three times. First with the full dash and a colourbomb from the cakebaking. 696100 points. Then just with a colourbomb I earned from watching a commercial. 942300 points. Immediately after that 785200 points with a colourbomb from the dash and one from another commercial. Seems like clearing the bombs with colourbombs makes lots of points and with luck the opportunity to make more colourbombs. Clearing bombs with fish or stripe/wrap combos doesn't seem to give you more than a few points. Good luck.

Well I can't believe I've done this level not once but twice as first time I was in aeroplane mode so as not to lose my boosters I came out & went back on wifi but it didn't show ID passed the level especially as I didn't know how I'd done it lol BUT I started same as before used a cb on the orange colour bomb & had a stripe & wrap by spawner & done hope this is helpful people.

Very frustrated, I cleared all the bombs and spawner but even after buying extra moves I didn't reach the target. I also have no orange wraps.

This feels like the end of the line of candy crush to me. I have been enjoying it less and less lately and feeling pressure to finish on Wednesday before the games become impossible. I, too, have a goal of 666000 and no orange wraps. Presumably, because it is impossible, King will change it eventually. or not.

Since I wrote last time, I've cleared it three more times, so 6 times all in all. Once on the windows 10 app, the rest on my android phone. So really not impossible. Don't worry too much about the spawners. Start with a colourbomb and don't swap it with a wrap or stripe, just a regular candy. With luck you'll quickly be able to make one or two more and can take out the rest of the bombs and you'll pass.
Cleared all bombs several times but nowhere near 666000 points. Do you get more points if the bombs have counted down? Starting with a CB then have managed to hit orange early most times and clear the board but nowhere near 666000, IS IT POSSIBLE?
I think I've passed it at least ten times now just with a colourbomb. The tip about orange was for the old version. Now it doesn't matter. Just don't use the colourbomb on green as there are no green bombs.
Follow Ditte's tip. Use just one sprinkle ball and got 812880 right away. Another CB dropped and used it. That did it a got over the required points. Try it.....

I found this an impossible level. I followed Dirre’s tip the second time around and got a lot of points. Used a cb on the oranges first then just had blues and purples. Used another cb on the purples and Had over 600,000 with one blue bomb left. Got that bomb - still short. Ended up buying 5 more spins to finally get the amount needed and two of the spins gave me 15 moves. No additional bombs - very little points, just glad to be done with it!
Use 2 color bombs to clear time bombs 2 times, remember, use only color bombs, otherwise you will not have enough score to pass the game.
Somehow I cleared my board and had candies only in the middle, with the two fish makers on the side. Totally impossible to make any special candies, let alone hit the spawner! Ugh...ridiculous

Very strange! First time playing with space dash and going after just the countdowns, I got close. Second time doing the same, I got very few points so went for third time is the charm. I started with a sprinkle and a blue and by the time it cleared I had almost enough points, so finished it easily. I think I starrted with sprinkle/wrap the first two times and with just a plain blue the third time. I don’t know if that was the magic move though.
finally i found the trick, try not to clear the bombs at the beginning, do some normal move then start to clear each color's bombs by using "color bomb", it give higher marks
I cannot pass this level either. I have tried numerous times and my goal is also 666000—-really? Not possible and I have used tons of help. Why only some people have a goal of 178000 and others have 666000?
You "just" need to start with a colourbomb and switch it with orange purple or blue. Then hope to quickly make another and switch with one of the colours of the remaining bombs. Most times that will be enough to reach the required score sometimes you need a third colourbomb. As said I've passed more than ten times with between 691000 and almost 974000 points. I find this a lot easier than a lot of the levels in the 3906-3920 and 3936-3950 episodes.
This level separated me from the really brilliant players. NOT a fun level AT ALL. I followed the tips and it took multiple tries to get a decent first board. Then it took some real plotting and still it was near to impossible. Did I mention NOT A FUN LEVEL.

Level 3871 is impossible to make 666000 points, the color bombs stop shortly after you begin, the person that said they compleet this game at the points they said they did is not being truthful! I will have to quit
I started with a Colourbomb and switched it with a blue bomb and that gave me more than enough points.
I've scored over 700000 more than ten times. Not lying. All you need is 2 colourbombs to reach the score

Like others here, i was detroying all bombs with a cb but still needed close to 300,000 points with no more bombs. I was playing on my tablet. switched to my laptop and got a lucky board with three consecutive CB's - struck the remaining color and was able to pass. something seriously flawed with this level. My board was different too, no orange wraps, however the above tips to have 2 CB's on the board did it for me, just use them separately, well over the 666000 required, 1st try!

I noticed that the lower the countdown on the bombs when you destroy them, the higher the points you receive. Try to save those colorbombs until the bombs are at a much lower number. Not absolutely certain if this does work but that’s what i did to pass this level. Had to use a couple of switches and hammers, though. Tricky with the dash because the moves will be limited trying to avoid accidentally destroying the bombs. Hope this helps

Read Dittes advices below, they are the solution. You will NOT win by combining a CB with another booster. You MUST use a CB for one part/color of the bombs and build a second CB for the second color. This is enough for 660K. Then you must get rid off the third and last color bombs. Floats are no help. Remove spawners not important. Get all bombs. This time King just made a challenge and you must find the trick. A trick not needing boosters.

Completed it on my Kindle with a CB & a lucky board.
Wow, what a pain but managed with a color bomb to start and exploding bunch on the 1st move and used a swap to set up making a 2nd bomb which gave me the 660,000 needed.
I have cleared the bombs multiple times & am not even close to the score I need. This is really frustrating.

Posting for luck since this level seems to be the kind that frustrates people enough to quit the came for good!! Seriously King, stop making it about the money! Make the levels fun and some easy and the money will come!! If changes aren’t made soon by making these levels easier and by lowering the price on boosters/gold bars I will finally be done with this game!! We have too many good choices in games to waste our time and money on a game we aren’t enjoying!!

The score makes this level nearly impossible! I just used 3 color bombs to clear the bombs, used 2 hand switches to get them, had them all gone with 5 moves to spare, did not crack 600k.

got very luck. had a full space dash so i started with 2 color bombs. reset until a CB was next to an orange, making sure that there wasn't another orange near the 2nd one. used the 2nd to clear the purples and was able to clear the last 2 blue bombs with another combo. ended up with 796220.
Just follow Ditte’s suggestions and it’s really easy. My synopsis of my passing was I started with a color bomb. I played two moves without using it. Then i switched the color bomb with an orange which got rid of all my bombs and got me right over the target goal. Then I just finished the games with no more bombs left and no new bombs created. I only had one star if that matters. The many other tries I did all of the things everyone else tried and got nowhere.

The video shown is not the same as the current board,
Bomb candies do not drop after the first round of them are gone,
The bottom left and right boxes have those things you have to hit to get fish, not a wrapped candy as shown,

This level has changed. Where the video shows an orange wrapped candy are now fishie spawners. it is impossible to get the score needed. I had 7 or 8 colourbombs and it took a hammer to get rid of a bomb that wouldn't drop and my score was only HALF of the requirement. Guess we wait for the "fix" lol
Not impossible but definitely just start with on CB! Then make another CB and hit the next highest number of bombs you can. I had tried it before with more boosters and it didn’t work. Just one CB (and some luck) and I got it.
Such nonsense! I don't have yellow wrapped candies in the corners as the video shows. It's those things that let off fishes if you hit them. This is a crock! I cannot believe I make it this far to find that other's are playing a different version than I am. Been stuck on this one long enough!!! :(

cleared the bombs after 2 moves, got 6 colour bombs after that and did not come even close, they gave me just a few lousy points.
cleared the bombs a few times after that but it doesn't matter what you do you will not finish this game till Candy crush allows you to finish

Sorry, everyone but I found this a pretty straightforward level, I passed it on the second go.
I started with a colourbomb, used it on one of the bomb colours then concentrated on hitting one of the spawners while looking for a second colourbomb. Once I had that I easily reached the target.

Used 3 colour bombs and cleared bombs. Cleared all bombs about 4 times now and nowhere near score. No idea how to play this.
I have no words for this level. I really don’t know how to play it. Have cleared the bombs on numerous occasions and no more drop down. I have tried again and again and again. I’m sure it’s fixed so King can make money.

Cookie's advice was spot on. I started with a CB booster and I matched it with an orange candy which took out all the orange bombs, then made a second CB and matched it with a blue. Target reached. Then just played to the end. Indy

Don’t use a double CB Or a CB stripe/wrap to start. You need the Spawners to hang around until enough creams are made. They are very delicate, may disappear after 2 hits. Once you have enough creams to complete the level you can use special candies to get rid of spawners.
