Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3891 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3891 is a score level, you need to score at least 500,000 points to complete the level.
There are two tricky parts to this level, one is the countdown bombs, you need as many as possible to get the score but you have to clear them before they count down to zero.
The second difficulty is actually getting the score. You really need to make colourbombs to get the score and use them on the bombs, but to begin with the bombs don't drop very fast so you may struggle to score much even with colourbombs.
You need to collect the keys as they drop from the top. The keys will unlock a second bomb dispenser along the top of the board so that the bombs drop faster and you will have a better chance of getting the score needed. The keys also unlock a wrapped candy dispenser and this will be helpful for clearing bombs once the wraps drop to the bottom left of the board.
Stripe/wrap combos tend to be easier to make than colourbombs and these can give you good scores if you can't manage to make enough colourbombs.

Airplane mode now not working !
Mine either!
Done with this game as it was fun again once I learned about the airplane mode trick. Special thanks for finding an easy way to give this addiction up. Wednesdays won’t be difficult to fill with other healthier activities. Good luck to all of you who elect to stay with it despite the frustration.

Hit this with all I had, unlocked keys and still couldn’t come close. The “Airplane Trick” no longer works, never worked for me anyway. Posting for luck. Not a fun Wednesday...We could have at least started with a fun level.
I'm done as well. Not even going to bother with this level. Going to walk the dog and read a book. House of Cards new season Friday.
I started with 3 cbs (spooky dash and Rami). Unfortunately when I set one off, in the process it set the other two off so it didn’t help too much. What did help was getting a wrap dropping down with the bombs and using a horizontal stripe to set it off. That got me a lot of points and I had that happen twice. I also hammered two keys to get the other dispenser to drop bombs. I was able to finish by making a color bomb towards the end and when I ran out of moves it went off and gave me the remaining points I needed.
Please help, need a lucky board! Please
Anon 07:12. Airplane mode was when you switched your mobile device to that mode which turns off the internet. Then you could reset if you didn’t like the board. WELL, ap mode is GONE! So don’t bother. These levels I think we all mostly agree have nothing to do with skill anymore, and without that ap mode & reset ability this game is nothing short of torture these days. Adios CC, you’ve irritated me for the final time, good luck to the rest of you

I've had enough. The game has gone from fun to torture. Whoever the new product manager is, he/she will drive a lot of players away.

I only get space dash on my phone so I use it first. The bombs and keys are definitely the secret to passing this level. Honestly think I just got the infamous lucky board
After loosing quit/reset 10 weeks ago and many other extras, I now concede defeat! I have been playing like thousands of others for many years and now accept that King really do want me to quit. Anyone know of any alternatives please?. 3890 and out!

I can still reset the board in any mode. BUT, I lost the ability to receive space dash or helmet many weeks ago. Looks like King is doing trial & error with players...
I have to agree with everyone. I think this level will do my in with cc unless some changes are made.
For me it's impossible to get enough count without boosters (colour balls). As for reset, just press the sound/music control -- its a little star -- There are four symbols the first is sound, the second music, the third is a question mark for info I believe. then the rectangle -looks like a door- the an arrow pointing left. Press that and you go back to the map with all your levels. then you go back on the level you were just on. and you have reset. Note it does not work if have made any moves on that level.
I also started with rhree cbs and was lucky to still have a cb after the cascade when I matched one with the color of the first key. Then I was able to match the last cb to get another key. I also got stripes in the right space to hit the countdown bombs. The points came quickly, then it was a matter of keeping the bombs under control until I used enough moves so the countdowns didn't matter.

Finally passed with a full stash of witch hats, added both extra boosters, hammered the keys and still had to release the spinning satellite to get enough points. In my opinion, this is impossible without boosters.
I agree with everyone else!! This is impossible!! I tried everything!! I opened up all bomb portals & still couldn't get enough points!! There's just not enough moves!!! Coincidentally there is a special on gold bricks!!!! Which of course is what you need for extra moves!! No longer fun!! Until it's fixed, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done!!!!

Went back to 3711 to collect the full Halloween hat, used the colour bombs separately to collect the keys and bombs and then just made as many colour bombs as I could along the way. Got the points on the penultimate move and then 3 stars almost immediately. I certainly don't think it can be done without boosters and the 3 extra moves. A nice start to this episode... not! Have started this level with 3 colour bombs + boosters & the best score i've had is 45,000 odd ..so posting for luck
I passed with no boosters. Not easy - but not impossible.
Every time I finish a difficult level I think there could not ever be one more difficult - WRONG. I agree with the other comments - too few moves, too difficult no fun! I have started many games with 2 cb and it got me nowhere! Have used all my boosters which renders me dead in the water! Nothing left to do but stop playing!
Finished using full space dash, couple of switches in middle and buying 5 extra moves. Ridiculous that you should have to do this or have no chance.

Yes, lost it too (android). But I found the last 20 levels were often doable without booster, just with a good strategy and repeating.
I have tried everything for the past 4 days!! No matter how many boosters I use, no matter what combination I try, I can only come within 10,000 of the points needed. No matter how many times I play past levels over & over for free boosters!! Which is so tedious!!! The only way is to BUY EXTRA MOVES until you can get the points needed!! It's not a free game when you have to buy boosters!! It's no longer fun!!!
I almost always manage to open the board an hit all keys, even in only 4-6 moves sometimed - and NEVER had more than around 300K, also not with a CB. I have not the faintest clue how to reach 500K
My experience exactly. Never more than 300k in about hundred games.
Finally through after 60-80 attempts. Without boosters or any help (apart from setting the clock forward to get new lives). The trick: the bombs give only 3K when hit normally, but around 30K when hit with a CB. Could collect all keys within 5 moves and then only went for CBs. The Lord of Luck gave me 3 CBs and I combined them always with the color of the bombs most on the board. Passed 500K with 4 moves left and finished with 606K.

I’m stuck here too long. Watched Cookie’s vid 3 times. Read everybody’s comments for tips. I still can’t get it. May I please have a Free pass just this once? Otherwise this level may be the end of my CC. Can’t keep on playing if I can’t win. Sad.
Thank you, Cookie! After I posted above, I really was gonna quit this game. Then I was able to play today with 3 cb (full ship + Didi). Finally beat it! I really believe ppl shouldn’t just come here to read, but leave a post. Lucky board always shows up after. Everytime! Thanks again!

I suggest King, and by King I mean ATVI, take a hard look at this level and fix it.
Ridiculous. I've scored in the 450's twice in about 100 games. Have even started with 3 CB and full hat. Nope.

Thank you Ms. Cookie for all your tips and hints they helped to continue to make the game fun for a little while longer. However, after coming within 2-5,000 points of the score half a dozen times, even with seven color bombs, I cannot tip over to win this level. Therefore, like others I'm done. So long and thanks for all the fish.

Day Three on this level. Got close with 450,000 twice, but usually score between 45,000 and 200,000.
Don’t want to quit, but getting nowhere fast. Need a LUCKY board.
Insanity is Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Got the Lucky Board FINALLY,. Started with full hat and an extra Color Bomb. (3 CB plus 3 extra moves etc)
Was able to stall with a few moves til a few more bombs dropped and then set off the key losing a CB, and still had one Color Bomb left.
A few more lucky candies dropped, but still needed to use two hand switches at end to guarantee reaching the score with only one move left. Couldn’t risk being short points on last move.
Done with this impossibly difficult level

I have tried for days and not even close. This may be the end of Candy Crush for me. It is suppose to be fun and relaxing and with levels like this it is just frustrating.

I've been stuck on this for days. Can't get over 470,000. Finally I had the full spaceship. I only got 440,000 but it still passed me to the next level for some reason.

Finally did this level after about 20 tries. ( and after coming on this site which always seems to bring a bit of luck :) ) I built up the witches hat and concentrated on letting the bombs build up so I could get the most points from using them in combos and with a wrapped candy that dropped down. Painful level but definitely doable.

Passed this on my first go using no boosters.
I came here to complain about how there’s no way I can get 300,000 and I read it used to be 500,000?!?! This is insane! I can’t get over 240.
Trick is definitely getting 2 keys right away. Got color bomb from buddy game and played 3711 for another. Used them on the 1st 2 keys. Also waited to set off any packages til there were bombs a few deep around it. Ended up w/565,000.
Impossible level...have used so many boosters and can’t even come close. This level just may chase me away for awhile. So Frustrated!
Have to wait for a lucky board to pass this level... to happy :-(
