Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3917 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3917 is a dual task level, you have to collect the one cherry and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
The cherry drops down the right side of the board and through the portal into the top left, then down the left side to the exit.
In order to collect the cherry you need to clear the licorice that is holding it back, you can do this with any combo but the best ones are stripe/wrap and colourbomb combos. Switch a colourbomb with any other special candy, but if you can get two colourbombs together this will clear all the licorice in one move.
Once the licorice is cleared you shouldn't get any more so it's just a matter of clearing the jelly. The cherry will find it's way to the exi as you clear the licorice so you don't have to worry about it too much.
You can sometimes make moves in the sides and top of the board, but there is no need if you are making combos in the middle and it may waste moves.
I used one lolly hammer to complete the level but it is possible to complete without boosters. Below are 2 videos, one with the lolly and the second without boosters.

Awful level, the only time I have come close is when I combined two wraps in the bottom left to remove most of the licorice... kik

Boring level... It looks to be impossible to complete without boosters.
Got it! (That was tough with no spooky dash etc) Like above comment, was lucky to get 2 wraps drop side by side bottom left, got lots of licorice and first fruit to drop, then I got the elusive "lucky board" onward...
All the liqurice does not disappear combining two colorbombs, in the left side it is falling down more!! Seems impossible!! Really hard level.
Stuck for days!! Cant get close!! The liqurice in the left side never goes away, as soon as I hit one another falls down. ��

ok so the way to do it according to your video is to wait until the start board lines up 2 colourbomb matches that will land together. I'll just wait until i'm 36,410 years old for that board to come along then. GGGGRRRRRRR
Totally impossible. The double CB is NOT DESTROYING ALL THE LICORICE, so that you are forced to create combos in the middle and the chance to make them is zero. Furthermore in the side no chance to combine three candies. Zero! Is Kings so happy to block players so near to the end? I will not pay any money to buy some dozen of hammers!

I worked 3011 for the full booster set and used it on this level. Still got nowhere near. I don’t know how to pass this horrible level and need some luck before I finally give up on this stupid game

It is true that side by side colorbombs do not get rid of all the licorice.
I was really lucky to finish off that rough left lower side jellies by combining a color bomb with a fish. Just pure luck...

Additionally, after cherry is finally collected, there is now an apple to clear as well. Major changes and it's not even considered a hard level.

Same here would like to have a lucky board
I found the fish was a helpful booster. Played the middle of the board to make as many combos as possible. With a few moves left was able to make a color bomb and combine it with a fish to clear the remaining jellies and drop the last ingredient.
