Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3948 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3948 Candy Crush Saga is a multi task level, you have to clear all the jelly and collect 5 chocolates and 25 waffles to complete the level.
The first job is to collect the keys that drop from the top of the board util the candies drop through into the bottom half of the board, then start to make moves beside the spawners, or hit them with combos until the final key is collected. The final key unlocks the chocolate but there are only FOUR chocolates on the board so you must allow it to grow for at least one move before you clear it so you have the 5 chocolates needed.
Keep hitting the spawners until they are destroyed, there is no jelly under the spawners, but if you don't destroy them they will block up the board with licorice locks and you will struggle to make good moves.
There is no need to worry about the waffles as they will be collected as you play. Just keep making colourbombs and combos and you should complete the orders, the jelly is a bit more tricky so look carefully at the board, especially when you are down to the final few jellies.

Why does this level get stopped, saying that I did not reach my goal, even if I am in the middle of the game and I have many moves left. Is there some glitch in this level? I have tried many times and every time it is happening... It's so annoying..
Poona, you probably cleared all of the chocolate before it had a chance to grow...leaving you one short with no possibility of completing the level.
This should be classified as a hard level! I just looked ahead...looks like King released 3 episodes on Wednesday, not 2. I have to change my goals or quit.
Twice while doing this level, it was really going well and just all of a sudden it stopped and said I failed the level. Once I had 10 moves left, didn’t notice how many left the first time, just shocked it stopped right in the middle of the game. There are no bombs in this level therefore I can’t figure out what happened. Maybe a glitch!
Could you please tell me why I keep getting cut off right in the big middle of my games. It has happened about 6-8 times now and it is always went I have a really good chance of finishing the level. This is maddening!

I think this is the end of my Candy Crush journey. No longer enjoying it especially after being on this level for days and not even coming close.
So, my game has ONLY 20 moves not Cookie's 24. But the happy thing is, I only need 4 chocolate squares, not 5. (Maybe King decided it was too confusing to
continue the error message people were getting (see above comments). I'm not anywhere close to beating the level so posting for a lucky board. Good luck!

This level is a bitch . Not enough moves . Isn't that strange not that's us Candy crushers story these days .
Not much fun anymore. That's why we leave it and don't play much . I notice they have changed the $14.99 offer to 50 gold bars and the rest in boosters . Not good enough as nothing last long and we are back to no go on levels . I'm fast getting to the time to flick this CC .

Got it with no boosters on about the 20th try. There are waaaayyyy too many whingers on here. They're all possible with patience and a bit of concentration. Onward.
Boosters are a waste of time. Quite an enjoyable level, not difficult on the face of it. BUT there are just not enough moves making it completely impossible even by getting all the keys om every possible move.

FINALLY finished with this horrible level. Must have taken at least 30 tries. I have no boosters, but I did buy five extra moves.

Yet another virtually impossible level. Far too many too often. Takes away the fun. I know a cynical attempt by King to make you spend money, but time to move on for some enjoyment elsewhere.

Reading back the comments it seems king makes it harder and harder. I feel that isnt fair to players who "tune in" later. Give players the same chance as the players who tried to pass this level a couple of months earlier or even a longer period of time. I don't mind changes, but give all the players the same chance. What do you think king?!!
What a joke. This level doesn't have any classification but is very hard or even impossible to pass without the help of king. What is going on in this horrible impossible frustrating and boring levels in this episode.

Passed without boosters, the key is to detonate the spawners before releasing the key for the chocolate and the final one for the waffles. My key for the chocolate did get set of in the explosion of a spawner though. There is enough chocolate on the board now. I always count it before making moves. Once the spawners are clear it is easy to make combos colourbomb stripe or colourbomb wrap.
I hate this game!!! ALWAYS REDUCING MOVES!! INCREDIBLY IMPOSSIBLE LEVELS WITH NO SKILL. ALL LUCK EVERY LEVEL!!! AND WHAT CAN I SAY,SUPER BORING AND FRUSTRATING!!! WHY DO I PLAY??? THIS GAME HAS BECOME STUPID WITH NO CHALLENGE BECAUSE EVERY LEVEL IS ALL LUCK!!!

Horrible level
I hardly get any keys they won't drop why won't they come down I'll be on this forever plus hitting the spawners are a nightmare I only have 19 moves the video has 25 it's pathetic
This is the most awful level I get all the keys sometimes have even got all the spawners even all the chocolate, but I can't get them all together, their's not enough moves please give me more moves candy crush I'm losing the will to live

Another bogus level that you have to wait for the lucky board. Getting more and more a reason to stop.

Now only 19 moves to clear 120 jellies where as the video only had 66 jellies with 24 moves.
