Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3972 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3972 is a jelly level and although it is not classified as a hard level it has been made harder by adding waffles in place of some of the licorice which means some squares have to be hit more to clear them.
Forget about the frog, it will be grown as you play and can be used to clear any difficult jellies, especially if they have waffles on as it will clear the waffle completely and take a layer of jelly from under it.
The jelly in the middle section won't cause any problem so you can forget about clearing it and concentrate solely on making colourbombs. Switch colourbombs with stripes to start with until you have plenty of candies on the conveyor and then you can either switch them with more stripes or with wraps to continue clearing the jellies from the conveyor.
If you have jelly on the left side of the board you can place the frog at the top of the left conveyor and it will prevent the licorice from dropping down and covering the jelly for a few moves.
There are plenty of stripes and wraps dropping into the middle section from the dispenser so these can be switched with your colourbombs if you can get them together without everything self destructing.
The video was made before the waffles were added but the strategy is the same.

My frog grew but would not activate with about 10 hits. Just before when on iPad, I got the no present for my sugar drops. Its bad enough without King causing errors.
I tried moving the fat frog and it worked. However, there was never a glowing ring around it either time as usual.
If possible start with CB/CB combo
There don't seem to be any sugar drops in this episode... Having used up most of my boosters on the previous awful levels, I was relying on them to replenish the coffers. Nanny Annie
Stuck on this level until I read Cookies blog. Thank you. Without you I would have given up many times. Your advice is always spot on.
Now they have included wafers instead of oly licorice... Plain awful to tel the least..

Been playing this level for a day now so thought i'd come check the comments.
Seems a bit pointless.
You had one move left so click on the frog, and when you clicked on the frog the liquorice disappeared from the jelly you needed to blow up even before you moved the frog.
How the hell did that happen. No point posting videos that just cant happen.

I will say it again. STUBID HARD.Why?
I did find it not sooo "impossible". Since I accepted to play "normal" again (= without rushing through using full dash/bot/whatever) and since I stopped to pressure myself being on the last published level asap or even on Wednesday, CC is relaxing again. Take this level as an example. Lost several times. Thought after 5 attempt "oh my, how difficult" (and yes, of course it's difficult, but you are almost at level 4000,what do you expect? You belong to the best players!!!!). Had a look for cookies tips and the advice to put the fat frog in the top left corner to stop a bit the liquorice was great. Additionaly...combos combos combos... There are SO MANY wraps and stripes falling from the dispenser, also CBs are easy to build... You just must concentrate, play a little slower, make many explosions and wait to place the fat frog the second time (in probably a corner) to hit the last jellies. I could improve from game to game and after some attempts I won with 3 moves left (and started with always 10 jellies left at least). If I can do without boosters, you can do, too!
Thought impossible level but when I had cb I just let it destroy a colour and that gave me new cb and keep doing this and there was a wrap in the bottom so used cb on that one. Had many moves left just don't want for stripe or wrap just destroy colours and at a certain stage you will have cb with a wrap or stripe left
Not fair when the frog does not work! Especially when I started off with a big combo! 🤦♀️
Been on this level for days, licquorice is a killer, more seems to drop on the left even if you’ve cleared some in the previous move. Need a luck board 😟

No frog growing WTF CC as if it isn't hard enough. And you get enough of our money now. Fast getting to the stage of quitting. Mabe if we all go they can close it down . What is everyone else's apinion .
How is this level not classified as super hard? I have been stuck for days, have used full boosters and no boosters.
Also notice that when I select the fish booster, they literally never come out. I played with unlimited lives and unlimited fish booster, and outside of the start, never got another one. Anyone else see this?

Anybody else wondering why the druggie doesn't fill up after the 1st time? I had a green frog and hit green candies with a color bomb and the sucker didn't puff up? WtF? Rigged again. TX for the tip Cookie. Been down to 1 jelly 2x but didn't know about the licorice tip. Still, getting tired 9f the inconsistency.
Lost so many space dashes on this level. Nowhere close!

For those having frog trouble, often times he doesn’t signal when ready. Ran into this in a previous level. You gotta just try moving him after a few matches of the right color. Might be 12 candies like usual but I think it’s less on this level. Ran into same issue w/fish booster I read above. Didn’t get but 1 or 2 fish. Don’t waste the booster. Been stuck for a couple days though so who am I to offer advice, right? Good luck crushinistas!

The frog is actually very helpful, just place it in the top left corner. It will stop the licorice falling down, giving you time to clear the jellies instead of just blasting licorice only to have it replaced by more licorice.

I just hate those levels where you need to rely on luck! Not skill, just pure luck! Not even close. Best I'Ve got is 10 jellies left. Without boosters, not possible. So, waiting for THE Lucky board!

Another impossible not fun level I've been stuck on for days!! When will I learn to just find a new game and uninstall CC
I finally got down to 2 jelly left, but of course had no boosters to finish. So back to the start again. Too many obstacles and not enough moves. A familiar story.....
Same old same old Lots of wasted lives and don't even bother with boosters. Luck alone prevails

I agree with all the comments. At least this is now labeled “Agonizingly hard level” or something like that. It is an agonizingly hard level and I need a lucky board cause I don’t want to use all my boosters.
