Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3971 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3971 is a dual task level, you have to collect three cherries and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
The cherries move through the portals into the middle section of the board, then down through the portals in the centre column of the middle section and through into the right side of the board where the exits are.
The best way to get the cherries to the exit is to make 2 colourbombs and switch them together early in the game, while the cherries are still in the left column. This will clear all the licorice and collect all 3 cherries in one move leaving only the jelly to be cleared.
The harder way is to work on making wrapped candies and if you can switch one with a colourbomb this will also clear a lot of licorice. If you clear the licorice in the for right column the cherries will drop through into the middle, but once they are in the middle section they will only drop if you clear the licorice while they are sitting over the portals. This make it a bit harder to clear the cherries because they won't all be sitting over the portals at the same time so the double colourbomb will likely only collect 2 of them at one time, leaving the third to be collected later.
The jelly isn't too much of a problem to clear if you work on making the combos to clear the cherries. You need a bit of luck to clear level 3971 without boosters but it is possible.

iPad. Did the clock reset thing & got lives then switched it back... but it reset the spin clock too, anyone else this happen to? Guess King is onto all our tricks

it happened to me too also took away my buddy challenge reward
There has been no spacedash or equivalent for a couple of days. Without that it seems impossible to defeat levels like this which have probably been set up with full spacedash in mind. Have quickly got no boosters left. I’m also tired of watching their adverts.
Board is different. King stinks at making levels now - if anyone passes a level, they increase the difficulty. I'm not paying $2 PER LEVEL to play this stupid game.
Now there has been 10 double cream blockers added, grrr.... kik

I don't understand how to beat this level...per the hint, I was actually able to get 2 CBs together and when activated, I didn't bring down a single cherry, so...now what!?.. I cannot seem to get through the blockers and licorice to win...any other suggestions?

Got this first go with just a CB from the first stocking. It didn't seem to be going well but a couple of wraps next to the centre column and a stripe/wrap suddenly dropped two cherries into the candy cane on the right and the third cherry to the bottom of the conveyor. A wrap next to the candy cane took the two cherries off. Three CBs had formed and I used one to get rid of the colour that would let the other two be side by side and waited for the last cherry to be over the exit in the centre of the conveyor before switching them. Finished with one move left.
