Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3984 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3984 is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherry and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
The floats in the left side of the board are the secret to completing level 3984, they will give you the fish that will help unlock the licorice and also clear the jelly when the board is a bit more open.
The cherry moves down the diagonal path once all the locked licorice is cleared so you don't need to worry too much about it, if you get enough combos to clear the jelly the cherry will be collected anyway.
To begin with you need to look for stripe/wrap combos to unlock the licorice and also hit as many floats as you can. Colourbomb combos will be good too, switch a colourbomb with just about anything. As with most jelly levels this needs you to blast away with any combos you can make and if you are left with a few jellies you are unable to clear, hit a float instead and the fish will get the jellies for you.
The spawner in the bottom half of the board needs to be cleared as there is jelly under it, the fish do target the spawner quite a lot but this doesn't seem to count as a hit, so you will need to hit it with combos to clear it.
The video below starts with 28 moves but is completed in 20 moves so well within the number of moves available at the time of writing.

Hi Roger, does the “Posting for luck “ work? I finally had to purchase the $1.99 bundle to pass 3983. It’s probably the fifth or sixth time I had to invest, so not too bad for 5 years of “ENJOYABLE STRESS BUSTING PLAY” lol
After the misery of 3983, this one fell fast. I added a CB and fish booster to the Bot and started with CB combo.Then kept trying to make stripe/wrap combos and was lucky to get them in places where they could do the most damage and hit the floats. The fish booster helped.
Had full build-a-bot, started with CB/wrap, that dropped the cherry, killed the spawner, left 10 jellies and 22 moves to spare in 1 move! Done with 14 moves to spare.
Started with full spacedash used 2cb together done with 9 moves left 😀
Hi, LynnKaiser07! I’m not Roger but I’m a believer of posting for luck here when I get stuck too. I always seem to get a better board after posting a comment on this site. I don’t know why or how, but it does:)
Didn’t know either to start with cb/cb or cb/wrap. But went with old reliable cb/cb. 1st try win for a change. Give me some more of these easy ones, King please. (I don’t know if I can say easy when I had to rely on spacedash to start the level)

Yes! Did it at last! It took a lot of tries, but I only used a hand switch, so it is possible without any fancy spacedash etc. Keep at it, your board will come eventually.

Why doesn't it work when the fish hit the spawner? That means that even when you have a lot of wish they are all completely useless. It never explodes.
Using all the boosters I never once came close. The spawner never exploded, I feel I am wasting my time again and have to wait for a lucky board. And that is not a game when you have to wait for a lucky board.

They are “jelly fish”. Sometimes there is jelly under the spawner so you have to blow up the spawner to get to it. However, fish can remove the jelly when the spawner is still there. Unfortunately, they do this without effecting the spawner. This does allow you to collect all the jelly without having to blow up the spawner too. Of course, that’s as long as you can deal with whatever it’s throwing at you.

You have got to be joking. Did someone say easy !!! I can't even get rid of the spawner and the chocolate is growing faster than ever. Its impossible. I am no where near clearing this board. Loosing interest big time.

Not easy. The spawner gets one blow away from exploding then goes back to original to be hit all over again. I have 6 hours of color bombs and candy and can't get close. Also, the gobot, formerly space dash is not adding so I can't use any extras from that. Guess I'll park here for the week

Rough level! Full boosters, fish do not seem to target the uppermost chocolate. The chocolate is the big obstacle here. Couldn't get a CB-CB combo to clear it, and CB-stripe was stubbornly missing a lot of them and not hitting very many floats. I got lucky the 2nd play through by hitting a +5 moves on the chance wheel, glad to be past this one. Good luck, looking forward to reading a tip that consistently works on this one, then trying it later. Very challenging, but doesn't seem impossible, just requires a combination of skill, luck, and patience.
COME ON CUTTING THE MOVES BY NEARLY 1/3 Give me a freaken BREAK and this is just NEXT level after another hard level that took me over 100 attempts to beat ARE THEY TRYING TO BORE THEIR PLAYERS TO DEATH
This level is ridiculous. Had 2 color bombs, strip/ wrap combo and fish to start. Also used a wrap saucer and still came nowhere near to finishing. Between computer and 3 hand devices I’ve probably placard this level over 100 times. I am not wasting any more boosters on this horrible level. Please king show me some mercy on this one.

This is a really hard level..used a cb/cb and it didn’t clear all that much. Couldn’t make any good combos...ran out of moves. Waiting for a lucky board because you need one to pass this level :-(
Good grief!! Is this stage supposed to be a joke? Reducing the number of moves, fish that have ZERO purpose, chocolate that spreads faster than ever, no more build a bot, can’t reshuffle board without losing a life alllll after a stage that was played over one hundred times... COME ON King!! Give your lotal candy crushers a break... at least make them challenging but not IMPOSSIBLE sand more so annoying!!
