Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3985 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3985 Candy Crush Saga is a jelly level and not an easy one.
The first thing you need to do is collect the keys, the first one is on the left side and the rest are on the right locked in licorice. The keys will unlock colourbombs which you have to use one at a time as they are separated by candy canes. It may be possible to get the top colourbomb down beside one of the others, but by the time you have them unlocked it is doubtful you will have enough moves left unless you are very lucky.
One of the colourbombs has to switched with a blue candy to get the jellies in the corners but the other three can be used on whatever colour is next to them.
The hardest part of this level is collecting the keys, besides being locked in marmalade they are also surrounded by thick blockers and waffles. The level has been made significantly harder since the videos were made and I haven't yet been able to make a new video without boosters.
Colourbomb/wrap combos are one of the best combos to use and if you can get two colourbombs together better still.
The video below was made before the changes and is much easier as it has thinner blockers and waffles, but hopefully will give you an idea how to play the level.

Level 3987 - waiting for cookie's tips. Stuck on the level - used check boosters still not enough moves to form and clear yellow candy(*o*)
Saw one video from candycrushmon which use 1cb/wrap and 1 cb/stripe to get 10 yellow candies only whereas now need to get 19 yellow candies!\(~.~)/
Used 4 handswap to similarly form 2cb/ stripe and used 2 lollipops to cleared check booster to turn them into yellow candies...
AND what do you have for level 3988?
3 keys plus 2 locked keys blocked by locked licorices and 4 cake bombs!just great. Boosters depleted, need to collect more before moving on...

Very few moves. Am trying since yesterday. Gave in all the boosters and gold bars. Need a lucky board posting for luck
Full Bot plus a CB and a fish booster. Started with double CB, then worked to get a blue next to a CB. I used a swap to get the red key. Finally used free gold bars for 5 extra moves and glad to move on. The fish booster was a help.
How do some people get to do levels earlier than others? And why does King keep making it harder for the rest of the population lol

Another miserable level, I think in the last 10 levels there has been only 2 that were any fun, if it keeps going on like this I may have to quit soon.....I play for fun and to relieve stress but the levels aren't fun anymore, this one is a nightmare and I don't think it can be done, even with all the boosters...but as always posting for luck…….Katie from Sydney

This level brought to you by the letters W, T and F. Looks like it's time for another extended break, and I encourage others to do the same. Give them time to build impossible levels, get money out of people, and then nerf them. Have not and will not spend a dime on this game. Girl bye!
I only have a handful boosters left:( no fish no lollipop. Only 2 switch. It’ll be a tough road to 4000! Help!
After I posted above yesterday, I got a Fish from the daily spin. Yay! I couldn’t have beaten it without the fish I got this morning:)

Yeah, F this. Sick and tired of this stupid game and these asshole developers changing it when things don't go their way. Like a bunch of petulant little children. Should have given up on this garbage game a long time ago but they have all but helped me make that decision. Done. Good luck to whomever else keeps playing this.

Anonymous 3.12/10h17 is right... Without fish = forget it. In my opinion its neither the main problem to open the board nor the keys, but the top right squares (the very right top and the 3rd right top). Failed so many times just by 1 or 2 jellies and couldn't do anything as I don't have hammers any more. But... Fish is a good option. Had really many fishes (at least 4 or 5) and they were big help. Had also free CB from Rami, which helped much, too.

Finding this really hard. Nearly done it several times but been stuck with top liquorish remaining locked. Even when all jellies are clear, fish won’t unlock it, ah well, keep trying
I HATE this level. Posting for luck DOES NOT WORK. I cannot control the chocolate. As soon as there is a clearing, a full chocolate appears, and then I have to hit it 3 times to clear. Grrrrrrr
Another lucky board level...this level is really hard...have to wait for a lucky board to pass...frustrated:-(
I'm surprised no comments for the last 2 years.
I think there are few moves for the amount you've to clear. You will need loads of boosters and moreso at the beginning. I will just have to persevere with this game and the next 15 levels to reach 4000. That's when I'm done too. I agree with other bloggers, no fun and just a waste of time. Good luck is what we all need.
