Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3990 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3990 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to collect the ingredients and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
This would be a fairly easy level if it didn't have waffles! The waffles make it very hard to make the good combos that you need to clear the jelly. You don't need to worry too much about the ingredients, they will be collected as you clear the jelly, just make sure they don't get trapped behind a waffle after you have cleared the jelly from under it.
The board is an "upside down" board, meaning the top of the board is the bottom! You need to start in the top half since there are no candies in the bottom and once you start making moves the waffles will drop through from the bottom, so if you can get a good combo to start the game you will do better.
Try to make moves in the top half to create cascades, but often you have no choice but to make moves in the bottom half and this is really a bit of a waste and if you get stuck making moves in the bottom half you have little chance of clearing all the jelly.
The moves have been reduced to only 16 since the videos were made and I found it quite tricky to clear since making colourbomb combos is not easy with all the waffles blocking the board. The video below starts with 20 moves but gives a good indication of the strategy needed to clear the level.

Whatever you do - when you reach level 4001 do NOT use two color bombs together. You need to keep the yellow candies and yellow keys intact. The ingredients drop one at a time and will travel on the conveyor and drop thru the open space, then you switch a yellow key with the two yellow candies, grabbing the fruit and opening up more of the board. If you are patient and do this three times, you will successfully complete the episode. I found it best to do it without boosters, because they could accidentally remove either some of the candies or keys or both.
i am now on level 4009 how come there are no tips on this level or any level after 3390. is it just me or have they vanished.

Space dash plus CB and free stripe/wrap. Start with double CB and work in the top. Combos were easy to make so cleared it on the first try.

Carol is right again, with build a bot, start with CB CB, done on the 1st go
I am having a really hard time with this level compared to others and I don't know why! I always start with double CB - but can only make matches and combos in lower half. So annoying!

Every level is insanley hard now... with this I am not getting anywhere. They must want us to quit..?
And I have only 16 moves!!! :( I am not even close to getting through this level.
One of the reasons why I think the levels are all hard now, besides money, is to slow us down so they can stay ahead of us.

Has the space bot disappeared? Played 606 7 times this morning & used the bot to get down to 1 jelly. Tried twice more... & nothing :(
How to even complete this shitty level with only 16 moves? And the waffles are simply annoying!
Fewer moves and additional layers added to the waffle pieces? Seems fair. These assholes have lost their ever loving minds. I have never hated anything as much as I have grown to hate this game over the last few episodes. I honestly hope this company goes bankrupt to prevent them from spreading their bullshit games to others.

I love Carol the elders help. I usually follow what she says. Even with her help on this particular level it took me many times with full space bot using two color bombs together. Horrible level. I like a game of strategy, but when the strategy is to try to get you to spend money it's not very nice. Never spent a dime and never will
very difficult level and without space dash or 2 cb's i don't know how it can be done. i don't get these boosters so well and truly stuck. posting for a luck board, thank you x

I agree. I was very close to catching up with the levels and then suddenly they got almost impossible to pass without a lucky board.
Since the turn into the 39+ levels they have all been made impossible!!! Trying to get us to spend money, game used to be enjoyable but not anymore! Time to quit

As far as I’m concerned They really destroyed this game when they introduced waffles and candy fences. It’s been a pain in the a** ever since.
This is a horrible level I can get all the fruit but can't get all the gels cos of the waffles, but the upside down thing is stupid what idiot thought of that ?
Why is 3990 not a hard level it's harder than the nightmarishly levels cos I've got through some of them in 1 go, this is a ridiculous & pathetic level candy crush please give me a break
