Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4023 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect two ingredients to complete level 4023 Candy Crush Saga. The ingredients have to travel down the middle column, between to two sets of spawners to get to the exit. Whatever you do don't be tempted to switch the ingredient to the side, it has to stay in the middle column.
I would suggest you turn off the sound if you normally play with it on as the sound of the spawners can make you rush your moves.
You don't need to destroy the spawners to complete the level, but if you can destroy some of them it will be easier to collect the ingredients.
Look for wrapped candies and stripes, wraps will hit the spawners twice and if you switch with a stripe it will help to keep the blockers under control too.
Switching a colourbomb with a stripe or a wrap will be best of all as it should hit several of the spawners and hopefully get one ingredient off the board.
The second ingredient will drop when you have collected the first.

Thanks Peggy for the coconut wheel tip!!! I really needed this win to help me deal with the fact that in the last 5 days, I've spent about $50 on this darned game!!! When I first started playing, about 5 years ago, I spent the odd $1.99 here and $2.99 there. It started to get out of hand, so I clamped down on myself and didn't spend ANY money for years, until this week. To quote another user of this blog, "I feel dirty!!"

I haven’t spent any money on this game. Make sure to earn your sugar drop boosters 3 times a day. They really help. The last 1000 levels are mostly impossible to pass without boosters
I think if anyone is spending $50 or more per week on a game they should seek professional help.

The trick is either CB-strip combo like in the video (never had one) or a stripe/wrap combo in such a way, that the ingredients fall immediately right through. Had a free wrap/stripe from the bean climbing stuff and started with it hitting "the tunnel" and the ingredient fell until the middle (bottom half is double blocked). spawners were very aggressive, but somehow managed a second wrap/stripe to hit the "tunnel", so this was it for the first ingredient. With a normal 3 candy-switch could bring the ingredient down to the middle. could hit the bottom spawner with a wrap, so it exploded and the second ingredient was safe.

The levels are impossible to pass without boosters. It certainly has slowed me down in the past 6 months. Not fun anymore!
I really question whether this is possible now they have reduced the moves and added the liquorice and jellies. I haven’t got close, even with a full bot. Beginning to lose interest. Anyone managed it?
Electra, why do you spend money to play this game? It is totally free. You don't have to pay a cent. All you are doing is paying a toll to pass, you are not solving the game.

This is impossible with 18 moves! As soon as I make a move, the meringues
have covered spaces before the tiles have fallen into place. Boosters have not
helped. I am tired of banging my head against the wall. This is definitely not fun
anymore and may be the end for me. Very disappointed in the present game!😡

Not fair, used to be 25 and now there are just 18 movements.
evil level. tried coconut wheel and cb+stripe, all wasted. i stopped using boosters because i am running out. lucky enough i made some combo and destroyed a few spawners. then i was able to use 2 hammers to finish the game.
i ve never paid a cent to play and i am not going to.

Frustrating level, but I eventually got it with full space dash boosters, playing slow and deliberately, as well as a somewhat lucky board with what sort of cascades I was getting. Play as low as you can and let the cascades build you boosters, then combine them for maximum damage.
Diana asked on 2/10/2019 what levels everyone plays for sugar drops. I usually play 1476, 281, 128, 66, 36, 42, 60, 112, 126, 186, 216, 906, and 666. That typically gets me the 180 to collect them, which yields 10-13ish boosters. If anyone knows other levels that generate lots of sugar drops and aren't very difficult, please post them as well.

I'm in desperate need of a lucky board
So I haven't played in quite some time and it doesn't seem like it's possible to get a full bot playing one level over and over. Is that so? If not, which level do you play for that? ... Also, is it still not possible to keep your full bot by closing out of the game if you see you're about to lose?

Video is of a level with more moves, without marmalade covered liquorice, is it even the same sport? This level feel utterly impossible without boosters and is a total waste of time and effort
Is this game crazy or not? I’m sure King is purposely trying to get rid of it’s players. I have 18 moves on this level and all the videos show 25 and 35. Come in King. Get with it! It is impossible for anyone to get this in 18 moves. Show me it is and I’ll keep playing. If not, shut the game down and stop conning people. I’m fed up with your unfair tactics.
I’m sorry, but your tips are useless if you have 25-35 moves and I only get 18. What is going on with this game. Its frustrating and unfair. No fun anymore. I will now officially leave your stupid game and hope others will follow. The higher up you go in the levels the more unfair his game is. Goodbye King. Has anyone got constructive tips how to pass this AGAIN IMPOSSIBLE level...and with almost no boosters left???? I am getting sick of this game. Level after level you have to play over a 100 to 200 times to pass.....or.more. I understand that it is getting harder tp pas levels...but this is not normal for a so called game that should be fun to play...not just frustrate people. A game should be played by a player, not by the maker of it. I am done for today...

On my third try, I was able to combine the coconut wheel with a horizontal stripe. Game over!

Im quit, i hv spent all of my boosters and this game is not fun anymore, we only need to beg to get lucky board, so what's the point? i agree if king only want the players to spend money for this game, and i will never do that.

I think this is probably one of the most boring levels so far. The spawners are just ridiculous . I need some luck from my god mother.
If you don't hit the middle column within the first move or two, you get totally blocked real fast. And now the game won't let me build a bot any more. I just get it once a week now and cannot go to the old level 606 to increase the boosters the bot is carrying. I spend more time gathering sugar candies than defeating new levels. There are now more hard levels to pass before getting an easy one, which isn't so easy most of the time. Need a lot of luck before my boosters are completely gone.

Worst level ever! This might be the one that finally breaks me. I’ve used the wheel, cb, and stripe/wrap boosters to start, and not even close. Even if I manage to make another cb, the stupid spawner locks it up. Any truly useful tips.

I’ve tried color bombs, coconut wheels only to have the spawners spit on them. I can’t stand spawner episodes anyway but jeez Louise do they have to render everything helpful useless?

Terrible level. So poorly designed. No skill needed,only luck. Another one of those "just use coconut wheels and double color bombs" level. Any level can be completed with a bunch of color bombs.
