Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4097 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4097 Candy Crush Saga is an orders level, you have to collect 100 chocolates to complete the level. The chocolates are provided by the lucky candies which drop almost continuously from the dispensers at the top of the board.
The main thing to remember on this level is that when you switch a colourbomb with a wrap ONLY the normal candies will change to a wrap, NOT the lucky candies.
To begin with look carefully at the board and see if you can get a couple of matches to get some chocolate on the board, avoid using the normal purple candies at all cost. Then switch the colourbomb with the wrap in the top right section, this will change only the normal purple candies into wraps so you need some of them on the board.
Once that is done look again at the candies on the board, the next wrap is blue, so you need some normal blue candies on the board before you switch the colourbomb bottom left with the wrap.
Finally you have a choice between red and green in the top left section, so look carefully and see which colour has the most normal candies on the board and try to get more before you switch the colourbomb with one of the wraps.

I'm not sure why no one has commented yet!! I can't be the only one who can't pass this level!!! It should be labeled as a hard level!! I have spent all day at it!!! I have tried every combo, boosters, no boosters, extra moves!!! The closest I ever got was 25 chocolates left!!! I do appreciate the free spin for extra moves!!! But if you really want the extra moves, it never lands on it!! Coincidentally there's a special price for a piggy bank filled with gold bars!! I think the only way to pass is to buy extra moves!! I can't spend any more money!!! So I will be here for awhile!!!
I've gotten to within needing 15. That is with starting with 3 extra moves. I really needed another 5 moves at the end but don't have enough bars to buy.
I agree with the two response's above. I used hand switche's toward the end to get the remaining chocolate needed
I did finally pass this level. But it required boosters!! I used hand switches, hammers, & of course extra moves!!!
I started with ignoring the top CB. In the main board I used a CB with the most colored check marks, as soon as I had a few purple normal candies I used the top CB on the purple at the top
Watched again until I had a few blue and used it etc. won first try
I am playing such a long time on this level and have no idea how to pass it. It is pur luck. Once I will do it.

Day in day out i an playing this level, what a hard level, and nothong helps!
I posted earlier but do not see my post. However, error in my numbers. Why does video start with 23 moves. I get 17 (or 20 if I manage to get the three extra by playing a few easy levels to get the booster). I must have played about 100 games and still no closer than 20 chocolates and nowhere near enough the number of lollipops I have to smash the ones required. Any tips?

Took a few tries but finally done after I had 5 extra moves with wheel
I had 18 extra moves and still couldn't finish this BS level. I don't believe they even try the levels they create or they wouldn't make them impossible without using gold!

This is really a difficult level! I have been on it for awhile - stuck like Chuck! HELP!,
I am about to give up. No way to get this level with only 17 moves! The most I have gotten so far is 72 out of 100. I am beginning to think I just don’t understand this level. Need HELP in a HURRY!
Can't get close. Tried everything! Boring, stupid level!
After several days and many, many attempts I am finally through. Towards the end I was getting bow wrapped items which gave stripes or wrappers which when burst had a great effect. However, in the end I got to 1 move left and 16 chocolates needed. I used four hands to get down to one chocolate needed and hit that one with a lollipop. Without those boosters I would still be there. But take heart within an hour I had done the next 20 levels!!!!

Admittedly started with the full stocking, but passed on the first attempt.
Read Cookie’s advice, watched the video and thought about the moves I was making. This, to me, was what CC used to be about. Actually thinking tactically, rather than just bashing things with hammers and switching endlessly.
This level can be done with a bit of thought.
Followed candies advice. Made sure check mark combinations had at least one regular candy in it. Got 15 extra moves on the spin, and use 13 of them. Terrible level. Best of luck.

What's the trick for this one? I try to ignore the CB in top right corner, but then I have no choice but to use it. I guess it's just keep playing until King decides to let me pass. I suppose I'll be on this one for (at least) another 2 days. WHY? Tell me, why, does King have to make it so difficult for absolutely NO REASON WHATSOEVER???? I think it's simply because they want us to purchase gold bars, etc. It's working against them. Because, I can tell you, that for me...I don't care anymore. I will just plug away at a level until I pass. I really and truly don't care. I play. But I now refuse to purchase a single gold bar from King because they are obviously doing this on purpose. I don't give a sh*! if it takes me 6 days to pass! At this point in the game, I will NOT pay a single red cent to go on to the next level. It has just become a SCAM to get your $$$ They won't be getting mine!!!

Wouldn't you know it. Next session after posting that ^ the lucky board happened. The trick is making wrapped and of course the lucky CB's. No boosters were needed but it went down to the last move.

Extra move wheel saved me, just watched an ad and luckily got the +15 moves. I found that I couldn't make enough chocolate, even with the color bomb + wrap combinations (a few of them automatically detonated thanks to the space dash boosters, probably better to play this level WITHOUT boosters). If I had a board like Cookie's, I could probably pass too, but I am not getting all the wraps and candy bombs like she is. These levels have prevented me from moving on to other planets and i consider myself a good player to have made it this far. I have told King how I feel and they make excuses like it is skill and luck. Also buying boosters if you get desperate enough but they won't admit that. Getting fed up and I see King is still making levels.
After many many many tries....no pass surprisingly 😆. I really have to sigh again...quite often lately because when you finally pass an impossible level... the next one is waiting for you. No relaxation....and no fun...but still king tells you to relax and have fun....hahaha
Nothing new, only boring levels. Must be very difficult to keep your players cc. I think cc is going to his end without players.

Why do we play this game?!?!? It's boring and impossible! It used to be fun about 2000 levels ago! Now its just pure luck to pass every level! Every level from now on is ALL luck! NO skill! This what I call a boring and a useless waste of our time! I'm quitting this stupid game! What's the point in playing when all you do is move pieces around until the level is failed. And then play again....and then we wait around for a lucky board! What are we stupid or something lol.

Think it's time to quit Candy Crush. This level is ridiculous. I've never been able to get 100 chocolates before moves run out. Got down to like 12 one time. It's not relaxing or fun to pay when it's so impossible.
