Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4098 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4098 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
This is a straightforward jelly level so as usual you can blast away with any combos you can make. There are normal candy canes as well as candy curls blocking your moves to begin with so you should look for vertical stripes and combos to work your way up through the candy curls to the top of the board. Once the licorice at the top is cleared you will get stripes dropping from the dispensers at the top which will help clear the top jellies.
There are also stripe dispensers at the sides but these are not as helpful as the top ones although we should never say no to a special candy if it's free!
The restricted board makes level 4098 harder than it would be without the candy canes but working as close to the bottom of the board as you can will help a lot.

I started with side by side CB, but made sure I had a wrapped candy on each of the upper left and right side of the board, so that they would clear some of those top candies. Finished with 11 moves to spare.

I've played lower levels to get a Full Stocking. However, the board is so open that I've never had the two CB anywhere near each other, nor did they fall and end up close.
I can't get anywhere near clearing the top licorice.

Now called a nightmarishly hard level and are they right,been stuck here ages and can't break the top jellies even with all boosters. Needing the infamous lucky board.
Started with, full stocking, switched stripe and wrap first, conveyer brought 2 cb's together, game over 1st try with moves to spare

So cut the layers and surely the waffles now have more layers? Could this be why I’m failing? Plus the fact that you can only earn the bot by winning consecutive current levels, no going back to 3711. Hoping for luck!!!

Passed this easily with a fish booster because the first thing they do is hit the liquorice which means you immediately start getting strips to switch with each other.

Color bomb + wrap combination was very helpful here. I found it fairly easy to make combinations on this board. Good luck everyone, thank you, and happy crushing!

Again a level tbat is hopelessly impossible. I am waiting for a serie of levels where you don't need to wait for king to give you a pass. I don't mind hard levels, but make them possible to pass not like for example this one. Moving candy from te left to the right et cetera and nothing works. Be fair king and alter this level into a level that is actually possible to pass without boosters. Thank you so much.
There are almost no combo's in this level. That's why i am still stuck at this very boring level. Give people some combo's king instead of letting them move step by step. This isn't chess you now ☹
Okay....i tried to stay calm....nothing....i tried to be patient....nothing....i even threw a couple of boosters in this level....but nothing....what else can i do than play over amd over again. This is getting more and more frustrating. And still waiting for a couple of combo's to finally pass. It looks like i have played for hoooooours and numerous times for nothing. Not a nice feeling for a loyal player that already came this far without buying boosters. Is this level the end for me playing cc? When i dont get a pass i guess it is because there is no chance that anybody can pass level 4098 without buying boosters or without the help of king.
Hours later and still no pass. The wotd abnormal doesnt fit this leve...the word sick is more appropiate. You made your point king....can i pass now......pfffffff really
Okay...this is it. I am done for now. This is such a dissapointing impossible terrible frustrating abonormal sickening shitty freakin level that king came up with. Played it a trillion times and nothing. Maybe i will play again tomorrow but i am thinking to quit because it isnt a fair game anymore and the fun part is gone. Boy what was it fun 1000/1500 levels ago.

Why do we play this game?!?!? It's boring and impossible! It used to be fun about 2000 levels ago! Now its just pure luck to pass every level! Every level from now on is ALL luck! NO skill! This what I call a boring and a useless waste of our time! I'm quitting this stupid game! What's the point in playing when all you do is move pieces around until the level is failed. And then play again....and then we wait around for a lucky board! What are we stupid or something

What gives? The demo game shows35 moves to collect 69 jellies, and there is a conveyer belt along the bottom. My game (4098) needs 17 moves to clear 116 jellies, and there is no conveyer belt. I have enjoyed Candy Crush for years, but the changes in games are very severe and spoil the fun. BTW, I'm 85 years old. Maybe I'd better find another way to pass the time in my golden years.
I wrote the above post yesterday. Today it is different...30 moves plus a conveyer belt. Still, 116 jellies have to be removed. I did it with the help of a hand switch and a lollypop.

There’s no demo for this horrendous level.
So do they think that altering the game from 35 down to 17 moves only inspires anyone to play? I am quite bored with this nigh on impossible level to beat. I have no assists remaining which I think may be the only way to win. Clearly playing to level 4098 its time to find a new time waster.

Well my game is 17 moves to collect 116 jellies. Impossible even with boosters. Waiting for King to decide when I can pass to the next level!
