Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4140 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4140 Candy Crush Saga is an orders level, you have to collect 40 waffles, 30 countdown bombs and 20 licorice to complete the level.
The hardest to collect are the licorice, because they will only drop from the dispensers if there is space for them to drop and if you don't clear any with the move that makes the space.
The other thing to worry about is the countdown bombs, you have to keep them under control as they are the most likely thing to make you lose a life. If you ignore them to make a better move you may not get another chance to clear them and it's game over.
Try to make colourbombs and colourbomb combos if you can as these will clear quite a lot of the orders in one move.
The video below was made with less orders but shows the strategy involved. I will try to replace the video when one is available with the correct orders.

Again a developper of King software succeeded in creating an impossible level.
No fun, only irritation, frustration and stress with a level that can’t be finished.
So done with CCS that I decided to quit this game and will search a not King game to have pleasure again in playing a Nice and funny game

There are no words for how ridiculous this level is. Anybody have any advice?
Concentrate on getting the licorice . Add a tick booster which gave me extra licorice. Was lucky with bombs. Waffles did themselves. And concentrate.
I usually like licorice, is that how you spell it, damn spell check is nuts too, anyhow can't seem to get enough licorice even with a full bot of boosters, pissing me off king.....Katie from Sydney xoxoxo

Six hours of free CB and complete helmet and 5 extra moves and still couldn’t do it. Very difficult. Lucky board needed. Too hard to get required licorice.

Yep, hard level. Just controlling the bombs takes most of our time, then comes the absence of licorice, aaarrrggghhh!!!!!

I'm finding it impossible to let a licorice drop without hitting some, so they don't drop. The bombs are killing me.
I just cannot get enough licorice, no matter what I do :(
Another level where we're wishing for licorice to fall rather than wishing that it would not fall.
I tried absolutely everything for this level, and finallly passed it with only a check booster....and a lucky board. Conclusion? No strategy here, just patience for that lucky board to arrive after a couple of days.

Used up last two tick boosters but finally through. Yeah
Stupid hard, redicilous level. When I dont need licorice it drops freely. So frustrated.
Ouch! 1 licorice short!!! I used my 1 remaining hammer and my long saved spaceship,1 more hammer and I would have been there. Should have saved up a bit longer to refill the boosters. Never mind. I had 15 extra moves as well on my phone app version.
How bizarre is this game! Having bemoaned my luck 5 minutes ago, I switched to my PC (from my phone app) and with 1 hammer left on there, I got it on my last move!!!j.
Try and start with tick, colour bomb and packet. Smash colour bomb with packet and concentrate on matching colours to drop liquorice. If you get close, use a lollipop if a bomb threatens to explode. I used two lollipops when I got close and luckily had a space ship n it exploded those mothers exactly where they were flashing. Job done but this level is a bitch!!

The key is def making CB. Hit the candies underneath where the licorice drops as much as you can since those are the hardest to get. Go slow and it can be done, but it took me a bit to get a board where CBs formed more easily
Combined CB with color under liquorice spender or cleared the candy underneath with a row of 3 and what happened? Nothing. A normal candy fell into this place. Had 10 moves left, needed only some liquorice and 8 times no liquorice came. Not fair programmed
As so often - I complain and win the level. Focusessed mainly on getting liquorice and (only now) often when I cleard underneath, a liquorice came. Started with a CB (plus got 2 during the game) and ONLY Used them for bombs shortly before they exploded. And ok, used a tick booster, but it came only once and I did not realize it came again.

It's hard not to feel like a level is rigged against you when every single time you've played, you're left with just one licorice short of the orders and then when (SUPRISE!) you see that you have five free moves available at the end of a game, NOT ONE LICORICE DROPS. And yet, she persisted.

I passed using a check mark booster and a colour bomb and matching the colour bomb with a wrap. Then a lot of very careful moves to maximise the number of orders hit with each move. You also have to think about making moves under the liquorice dispenser even if it doesn't hit anything or you won't have enough.

Another level where we wait to be let through. Thought it was gonna be kinda fun at first... so not. Even when it feels like the lucky board, cascades happening,etc, I still don’t get enough licorice. Been using check booster for the last 6 or 7 attempts. Hasn’t helped much. Sounds like CB is what I really need to use. Back to try again...

Vile level! Seems to be a generous board for special candies, but no use if the licorice just doesn't appear. Help!

My board is totally different, I need to collect 9 cherries, sometimes it is the same as the next or the previous level on this site but this is not the case this time (its not level 4141 or 4139) UGH!

Same frustration as expressed by others here. I can go 5 or more turns and not have any licorice appear, even though I haven't cleared any. Lost so many games even though I got the bombs and waffles early.
