Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4178 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to destroy the three spawners to complete level 4178 Candy Crush Saga.
Don't try to clear the spawners by making matches beside them, this won't work as there are not enough moves and the candy curls are in the way. Instead concentrate on making special candies and combos, these will clear the candy curls and other obstacles as well as hitting the spawners. Combos will also create cascades which will hit the spawners without any help from you.
You need a bit of luck with the candies, but this isn't a pure luck level as you are able to make combos as the board begins to clear.

I started with a colour bomb/wrap from my booster stash to clear a lot of the board then concentrated on clearing the centre spawner. Once that was gone a just matched candies next to the other two and finished with eleven moves left.
I had a free cb from prior episode so had that and then found it easier to get the side spawners before the middle one. First try 4 moves left.
Finding this very difficult. Tried to hit the last spawner wjth my last 2 hammers and wasted them posting for luck

Very very difficult. Posting for luck.
Don't have the space dash but had one CB from Didi and, much to my surprise, passed on the third attempt without destroying the central spawner. No idea how that happened but I'll take it.
Only 20 moves!
This is one tough level without boosters! Bring back space dash! Help
After posting here i was out of lives on my mobile so i played on fire tablet with no boosters and passed with 6 moves left, pure luck!

This sucks. Already hated the spawners. Now that you gotta hit ‘em 5 times, even w/specials (unless that previous level awhile ago was an anomaly), why do you need to use the candy canes too? Huh? Too frustrating when the board is all congested.
The congestion created with the candy ribbons, licorice, and waffles make this a very challenging level. Color bomb + wrapped candy combinations are helpful. Work on the blockers, create cascading matches and make as many special candies as you can. Powerful combinations are necessary to get the biggest cascades going. I struggled for a few days. Got past it with only 2 of the 3 required ingredients. For some reason only two are required as posted earlier. Lots of wraps kept forming to help me out.No boosters.

Someone complained there where "only" 20 moves, well CC did it again. They narrowed it down to 18 moves, as if that is easier to play now??? Damn you CC
