Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4185 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4185 is a dual task level, you have to collect two ingredients and clear all the jelly to complete the level. This is also classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
The image shows the path the ingredients need to take to get to the exits.
As you can see from the image, you need to clear the candy curls from the bottom of the two sections outlined in white so that the waffles can drop out and allow the ingredients to drop in, from there the ingredients have to be dropped down to the bottom of the board and the exits.
While you are collecting the ingredients you also need to be clearing the jelly, which means using combos to unlock the locked candies and licorice in the bottom part of the board.
You need some combos but it is fairly easy to make them with only 4 colours on the board.

Achieved on first try. The "ribbons" kept appearing and on my last move, with plenty still to do, I managed to get a stripe to hit the 1 ribbon on the board. It worked and gave me the "Party Booster" or "Pinata" and that completed the level.

I've got the ribbons the last couple of levels. I use all that I get but have no idea why they show up, nor how to get the pinata.

This one is not easy.
It would have taken me ages to work out the path the ingredients took, so lucky I always come here first to see the tips. Had a good board with a colour bomb next to a stripe that had heaps of the same colour in the bottom of the board. The first ingredient went on the first move and it was straightforward from there, with the board opened up.

Yeah, 17 moves now. Infinitely more difficult. I also like how in the video, it was pure luck the rest was cleared. I don't ever seem to get those kinds of Lucky boards!
Passed level on 2nd try using colorbomb stripe combo which fives u the best chance of beating level. Look board over carefully before each move. I had 2 jellies remaing when i ran out of moves so i used my gold bars to buy extra moves and cleared remaining jellies easily. Dont forget fish/ wrapped candy is a real good way to clear many jellies

Impossible level with only 17 moves. Tried so many times and used up my arsenal of boosters and didn't even come close. I think I call it quit.
Wow right after I posted here, I got extra moves on three ads, 2x15 plus 1x5, a total of 35 extra moves. I guess the only way one can pass is to get at least 20 more extra moves
I completed. No ingredients on the board. No jellies. It said I still have 1 ingredient. Lost my bot and several boosters getting to find an ingredient that wasn't there
Challenging level, make color bomb combinations (particularly with a striped candy or a wrapped candy) to open up the board and clear much of the jelly. To address one of the comments about an ingredient not dropping, make moves underneath the dispenser in order to release one onto the board. If you don't clear anything beneath the dispenser, it likely won't release an ingredient. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

Remember when CC was more about analyzing the board and making skillful moves rather than taking the one available move, like this level, and hoping it does not take too many tries to get that lucky board that allows you to pass?
Absolutely impossible to do. Took away 7 moves and you actually need more than the original! Need a miracle board Crazy!

This is getting old in a hurry. Another impossible level, reduced moves, and no strategy involved. Just waiting for them to decide it’s my lucky time to pass the level and bestow on me a possible board if I use multiple boosters.

There is absolutely not enough moves! Using what boosters I have and moving on. Not a penny! Used to, not anymore. Too ridiculous!

On my tablet and PC this is not classified as a hard level. !!!! How can that be? Not at all easy to get combos due to blockers on the grid. Not even getting close. Maybe one ingredient but nowhere near all the jellies. I've gotten to this level and beaten a lot that I thought impossible but I hate to think that this level which is not supposed to be hard is that is going to cause me to quit.

In all videos show bunch of lucky moves. This game had 35 moves then 22 moves now it only has 17!

Any time I spend over a week on one level, it makes the game not fun at all. 15 moves and half of the moves are the only choice . This game is not fun at all. Wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. Just to frustrating. So many other fun games to play

Impossible without boosters when there's only 15 moves. I used all 3 available boosters and finally got it using space ship and hammers. This is 2nd one in a row like this. King is ruining what was a good game by indiscriminately cutting number of moves. A tough level once in awhile is fine, but one frustration after another is wearing. After a couple of years and over 4100 levels, I'm about ready to quit.

Are you kidding?! 15 moves instead of 24 on level 4185. Getting tired of impossible levels.
This one would really be fun to figure out how to win if you had enough moves. 15 moves for all this means no strategy, just throw everything you can at it. No challenge at all. I understand why CC does this. More money for extra moves and boosters but there is no sense of accomplishment or enjoying the game at all. So, to win, my “strategy “ is to build up my boosters which will take a few days and then throw it all on this level. Yawn.
Well, right after the above comment, I got a spotted ball land besides a wrapped candy during the process of the game and cleared out the bottom and managed to win the level without using boosters at all! Just lucky.

I have come the closest ever to stopping playing in the last episode and this one! I expect hard levels, but please CC make them interesting t9 play when you are going to be stuck for over a day. Just not even com8ng close to finishing, and boring, oh, just one move again after, oh just one move again! Feels impossible, just waiting for a lucky board, and feeling very bored 😐 .

Typical not enough moves board. Have no boosters left so I guess I'll be stuck here for days like I was on the last not enough moves board. Unfair really but I'm not shelling out money every day for what is supposed to be a relaxing game but rarely is. Looking for a new game to play.
