Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4208 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4208 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. It is an orders level, you have to collect chocolate, waffles and licorice to complete the level.
Collecting the orders is not hard once you get them onto the board, getting them onto the board is the hard thing.
Forget about the bombs, they won't be a problem even if the countdown gets reduced in the future as the combos you need to use to clear the candy curls will also clear the bombs.
The image below shows where the orders will drop but as you can see you need to clear the candy curls before the waffles and licorice can drop.
The way to clear the candy curls is by using wrapped candies, you can either switch a wrap with a colourbomb (the best way) or switch with a stripe so that the blast goes over the candy curls you need to clear.
Once the candy curls are cleared and the waffles and licorice are dropping they will fall through the portals and into the top part of the board , so making moves at each side in the top of the board will get more dropping.
At the same time as you are releasing and collecting the licorice and waffles you need to make sure you allow the chocolate to grow enough so that you can collect it and complete the level. Keep an eye on how much chocolate you need and allow it to spread by not clearing it until you have enough.

Only 20 moves now with triple blockers down the middle of the bottom section. Ridiculous.
Have played many times. There are games that I don't even get a single licorice or waffle on the board. I start with a check booster but they only turn into chocolate.
Got it by starting with CB/wrap combo, that breaks candy fences, done with 2 moves to spare
It looks like you didn't undestand the strategy.
The only goal to begin with, is to clear the candy curls where the orders will drop (the back of the arrows in Cookie's image).
CB/wrap making sure there are candies with the wrap color near the candy curls on both sides is the way to do it.
I started with CB/W from the SD, formed another CB and used one hand to bring W next to it.
Easy from there, first go.

Had a bit of a bizarre glitch on this one where everything was cascading through the right hand portals. Just wouldn’t stop and I had to quit and start again. Finished it using CB/wrap start plus used the check booster. Completed on the final move.
I too had that "loop" on the right side. I posted a screenshot of it in the Facebook Candy Crush Wednesday group.

Start with a CB, wrap and checkmark. Reset to wrap/CB, making sure not next to checkmark. My first try, checkmark turned into a chocolate that then covered the CB before I used it.
Having a difficult time with the waffles and then no licorice. Really don't understand how to do this one. Posting for luck
Did as Cookie suggest. CB next to a wrapper. I did have to reset the board til I had that combo. Had a full stocking with 3 extra moves. Finished with 6 move left. 3 stars
I also got the endless loop on the right. Exited game and kept sending me back to board with loop. Finally had to shut down game and restart. Stupidly annoying.

I guess it is easy to start with a colour bomb wrap combo when you reset and reset until you get what you want every game. Rubbish advice from rubbish players.
Some people say they reset the board til they had the right combo.
I haven't been able to reset for quite a while. How to do it without using up a turn and losing the boosters on the board?

Passed first time with CB/CB combo. It took care of most of the bombs and cleared space. Not too bad. Good luck!
Omg even though I clear the way for liquorice to fall none appears so how on earth am I suppose to clear it 😡😡getting so fed up with cc and King so many hiccups lately with this game hope my level gets sorted really soon

hate this type of level always not enough liquorice, only one liquorice drop every two moves is that fair ? stupid
I really don't get this.
I came close on my first try, as often happens, and just needed two licorice with 10 moves remaining but none dropped despite making moves under the dispenser. Since then I've got nowhere. In Cookie's video she only broke two sections of the candy curls on each side and the blockers and licorice started to drop. I can't get them to drop. I have cleared ALL the candy curls and still nothing drops. It's so frustrating.
I get it now. I had another look at the video and the curls at the top of the column under the dispenser had been broken.

Using the wrap stripe booster which i have free for 1 1/2 hours, check booster and colorbomb from bot i passed it on 2nd try. The key is cb wrap candy combo to starr as long as u have that color candy near candy canes. After 1st move i had i guess a lot of luck bc combos kept coming. Take your time and dont just try to beat the level, not taking this game so seriously bas been my secret to success

Help. Been on here days. Get the waffles & no liquorish , get the liquorish & no waffles!,, Not enough moves to get them alll. Where do you people get the extra color bombs???? I only get one when I finally pass a level, but then it goes away because I can’t pass all these crazy levels in one try!,,, Think yalll are playing a different game than I am

Beginning to think I'm not supposed to get this level. After at least 25 tries, some with only one licorice left, once again I've used up all my lives and boosters. So now it's time to wait for a refill. No idea how my friends are sailing through these 4000+ levels.

This game Sucks!!!! Every level requires NO skill only luck! So what is the point in playing this game? All you do is move pieces around until you are out of moves....and then....DO IT AGAIN!!! Waiting around for a lucky board,which takes about a week!! And King even reduces moves for each level to make the impossible really NOT doable! Like I said,this game sucks!!!

Even with all the candy curls gone, the waffles wouldn't drop not even with direct hits to that column. I got the chocolate and licorice with no problems. Had enough to get the waffles but they won't drop. This is the 5th time trying to get waffles/
Okay. I am a patient candy crush player. I have paid a lot of money over the past 6 years but, this level is totally and completely IMPOSSIBLE AND I REFUSE TO PAY ANOTHER CENT. because I can’t get anywhere near enough to pay for more lives. There has got to be. Glitch in this level. If I get licorice I do not get waffles. If I get waffles I do not get licorice. There has got to be something wrong. This is too stressful and I think time for me to move onto another game that is within reason to win. I play to reduce stress, not create it.
I have played all day and have not gotten a waffle or licorice. Only chocolate. WTH
