Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4220 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4220 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a super hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
This is a dual task level, you have to collect chocolates as well as clear the jelly to complete the level.
The chocolate will be produced by the chocolate machines at the top of the board once the candy curls are cleared at the top so that the candies can drop into the jelly.
There are stripe dispensers above the conveyor and if you can get stripes to drop they can be used to fire up into the top section and clear the jelly.
You will need to allow the chocolate to grow to get the orders needed so you will need enough moves left once the chocolate starts to grow to get enough chocolate for the orders.

Cracked it first time but needed a couple of hammers for the chocolate. Started with 2 colour bombs to give myself a fighting chance.
I got it on the first go, too, but I need two additional moves to do it. Luckily, I got 15 free more moves by just watching a video and did not have to use a hand or a hammer.
Candy crushers are now scattered at different levels because of this Dynamic Duo thing. According to Carlton, a new episode comes every 2 days so you don't have to wait on Wednesday for new episodes. I can't play the Dynamic Duo but I am contented in waiting on Wednesday for new episodes. The new levels now are so hard that they are almost impossible to complete without using boosters, especially hands and lollipops. I am down to 2 lollipops and have to play sugar drops to replenish my boosters. I will need a week, not two days, to colect enough boosters to tackle two episodes.
Starting with two cb combo is the way to go. That opened up the top middle section and was able to make several stripe wrap combos in the bottom which helped clear the jelly in the bottom. I also used a fish booster which helped some and I had the full stocking booster. I didn’t think the two episodes were too bad. I had more trouble with the first one. Needed extra moves a few times, but didn’t use that many hammers and switches overall. See everyone next Wednesday. Miss hearing from some of the regulars like Carol the Elder and Sharon.
Rick - what is the Dynamic duo? I’m pretty sure I don’t have it and I’m not sure I would want a new episode every other day.
Bear with me, I am not familiar with the Dynamic Duo either. If you go to the road map and press on the wheel, it will show the Dynamic Duo where you are paired with another player. If you press the Play button, it will take you to the next level, but it does not work all the time. One time I tried to reset but it did not work and it took me our of the level. Carlton made a post about it on level 4190. Carlton, can you explain it further?
I have Dynamic Duo but I only get either a fish or a stripe/wrap for two hours. I've never been given a new episode

Good to see you Sharon. I have the Dynamic Duo also where it has hooked me up with an a random player but like Sharon said, completing the challenges (for example collecting 20 color bombs) results in us both getting a chest that gives a fish booster etc. for two hours - not a new level. I am currently finishing the 65th straight challenge. I have also noted I am no longer getting the ‘trophys’ but can still get gold crowns if I finish a level on the first try. Things seem to be a bit random with the game ( for example sometimes I get the ribbons and sometimes I don’t).
Hi Bear with me. I only got the trophies for a few weeks and also don't get them anymore. I only got the candies with ribbons for two weeks but none this week. The first week I didn't get a pinata but last week got three pinatas. Very random!

The last two sagas were enjoyable & fun bar level 4219, which I found impossible to complete without the party booster. It should be marked 'hard' at the very least. Roll on next Wednesday.
Got it on the first try with 6 moves to spare, able to start with CB/CB combo, with full stocking and reset ability, these 2 episodes weren't that tough, difficult for others I imagine without added features...til Wednesday!
completed this episode after a challenging 4220 being careful NOT to destroy too much chocolate too fast. I did not get 4220 first try but got first try on 10 other levels in this episode. It was Dec 30 a great note to end the year on. however on Sun night just before bed time I decided to check the dynamic duo (buddy challenge) to see how I was doing. Big mistake! That's when the ghost level nightmare began.....
Good episodes. 4211 was a bit tricky with the chocolate. Levels are getting harder. Until Wednesday.
I was given a new episode (levels 4221 to 4235) yesterday. I don't know if it has to do with the Dynamic Duo. Did anybody else get the new episode?
Hi everyone. It's good to see some familiar names. I have been lucky to still have the build a bot and am able to reset and start most levels with a CB combo. This last one took me two tries and I can,use airplane mode to keep the Bot. I thought both episodes were a little easier, especially with the boosters mentioned. I did have the dynamic duo and I think it helped me get the first episode of the last two since I got it last Saturday, then had to wait until Wednesday to get this last one. I also have had the ribbon bows pop up randomly.Happy New Year to all. We are active on Facebook, Candy Crush Wednesday Club!

Yes, and it is due to the Dynamic Duo.
Due to the Dynamic Duo, there is no Wednesday club any more, we already moved on.
Rick - I too got the next episode yesterday. If it is indeed tied to the dynamic duo then I should get the next episode tomorrow Evening or Monday morning (see my comment on Cookie’s blog level 4235).

Playing 2280 for sugar drops and ran out of moves but got the free spin with watch an advert. Got this 5 times and every time got more moves. Finished with 50 sugar drops. Thanks CC. Enjoyed the last levels. Waiting for Wednesday or whenever it happens this week.
I finished this level starting with the cb-cb combo and also benefitted from the seemingly randow appearance of bows too. I completed the dynamic duo to level 56 without any reward beyond a 2 hour fish or the like. It would be nice if we were all playing on a level playing field and received the same perks. I guess I will now have to wait until Wednesday to see what comes next.

The Dynamic Duo showed up for me a couple of weeks ago. It usually gives 2 hours of Stripe/Wrap.
I am finding level 4220 extremely difficult. It's impossible to clear the chocolate and jelly due to the 4 licorice that block stripes from entering that play box.
I only have one Hammer so I can't hammer my way out.
I can't Reset and when I play lower levels for the full Bot the Special candies are spread around the board.

Is it just me? I thought i was collecting wraps not chocolale. The symbols on the mobile screen look similar to me. Maybe it's my age!! Now i know it's chocolate aftrr coming here I will try again

Several questions:
1 - My game has been looking for a new dynamic duo partner for over 2 weeks. Any hints on how to break this?
2 - I can't go to an easy lower level anymore and build the Space Dash. Did this happen to anyone else?
Took a few tries but got it with no boosters. You need to concentrate on getting the striped candies onto the conveyor and also taking whatever combos are available. Try to only shoot the vertical stripes from the centre of the conveyor.
Took a few goes then got lucky. A colour bomb/stripe combo made a big dent then a double colour bomb cleared most of the board. All that was left to get were four easy jellies at the bottom and two chocolate. Finished with 16 moves left.

I finally beat this level after many tries losing the 3 boosters i had from the bot. Last try with no boosters i ran iut of moves with 3 jellies left so i spun wheel for 10 gold bars and got 5 xtra moves. Luckily the remaining jellies were ar rhe bottim of board and easy to clear so heres proof it can be passed with starting boosters

I think these last few levels have been the worst ever. They could have been enjoyable if there were enough moves! Each time I failed the banner flashed “53442 players finished this level with extra moves”. Doesn’t this prove how ridiculous it is to keep reducing the number of moves available. I’m not going to buy extra lives nor am I going to waste my precious time trawling back to previous levels to get boosters.

I don't have the ads for boosters or extra moves option. Can't reset either and sugar drops have been capped at 5 per level. It's ridiculous to have to complete over 30 levels to finish it.👎
I forgot Cookie said that you have to clear the curl at the top to get the chocolate to drop. Wasted time. Finished next try after I reread the tips.
