Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4238 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4238 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a super hard level, so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level with a difficult board but there are fishing floats to help a bit if you can hit them.
I am not sure that this level can be completed without boosters since it was impossible with 28 moves and now has only 22 moves.
If you can make a double colourbomb combo you will be a long way towards passing and it can be done with a bit of luck, otherwise you will have to rely on stripes and stripe/wrap combos. If you can hit the fishing floats with combos the fish will clear the blockers along the bottom and any jelly that is uncovered so they are very useful, but this is really a hard level and you will have to spend some time on it if you don't have boosters to spare.

Started with a two cb combo. Used a fish booster which helped. Used a hammer on a fish to get the last two jellies.
Started with CB combo, managed to form srtip/wrap combo and let it travrl on the conveyor till it was under the fishing floats.
Few more stripes and fishes completed the work.
First try, 10 moves to spare.
So this videos has more moves, less blockers and some magical ribbons ! WOW
This was a nasty one. Started with CB combo also added a fish booster. On the fourth try I made better progress, but still needed two swaps and two hammers. Fish booster does help, it got the last jelly on the last move.
You say it was reduced to 22 moves but impossible with 28 - well i only have 20 moves ! Really stupid !!

Had full stocking since you need the extra 3 moves. 4th try still did the 2 cb and finally made it after using 3 hands an a hammer. Almost wanted to do it a diff way but too many to clear I decided. Had 1 spare move at the end!!

Really struggled with this one. Tried full bot plus all the boosters and never really cracked the bottom row. Tried no boosters and got nowhere. In the end I started with a a double colour bomb and then used a precious flying saucer (from winning the weekly colour bomb challenge) and that opened it up enough to clear it with about 5 moves to spare. Glad to be moving on. Nanny Annie

Cant believe this is possible.
I had more than 20 moves, but didn't notice how many. After reading the horror comments above I added one of each booster to full space dash and finished with 12 moves left, first try. No colour bomb combos either.

Once again this is impossible. I have no space dash, no stocking and I will not buy boosters. So it is impossible for me to ever have two color bombs much less get two together.
Don't be afraid, I think the level is easier than it looks like in the beginning. With full bot/envelopes I lost - because I did not understand how the level works and wasted too many moves in vain. After I lost the bot, I started several times with no boosters and finally won maybe 3nd try (27 moves given, needed 25). The trick is to always get the stripes down from the 3 spenders in the middle on the belt and hit the bobblers then asap it's possible. Gives plenty of fishes. And ok, I was lucky in one respect: got by accident (not skill) a wrap/stripe combo in the bottom.
It is not rated as a hard level, not to speak about as super hard. It is rate as normal level. Posting for a lucky board
So sick of this game. So sick of spinning for extra turns. I get more mad every time I have to do it. It is no replacement for space dash if that’s what they think it is. Every time I spin and don’t get extra turns I find that I’m starting to hate the advertisers. The advertisers make me mad. This game needs to end. It’s poison. Started out so fun and ended up so greedy and evil. I’m done. Will not play anymore.

Is there any way to get back the full bot? Lost the ability to get it after I reached level 4200
@Patti, try updating your app. I lost mine too and couldn't understand why I had it in my IPhone but none in my IPad so I tried updating the app in my IPad and thereafter was able to get the Bot.

I have no space dash and very few boosters left, especially after using so many trying to pass this awful level. It took three days but I did manage it with no boosters except for one hand switch.
Again looks like another tough level, thanks for the tips, im giving it a go wish me luck

Did it on the second try without boosters, didn't realise others were having difficulties until I came here. Concentrate on hitting the floats is the only advice I can give.

Tough level. I added a color bomb and fish booster, still needed to watch an ad for a free spin and land on a +5 moves. Make combinations if you can, either color bomb with striped candy or striped candy with fish combination. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

Ridiculous level, no skill required again as impossible to pass, been on this for 3 days. I think it's time to throw the towel in, wasted too many years on this game.

Ridiculous! Been playing this level for over a week. Have used every booster I had, every booster I’ve earned and extra moves when they come along. I thought I was stuck in a rut with near impossible levels lately but this, this is NO LONGER FUN!

27 moves for 49 jellies with 3 layers. And the fishes are practically impossible to reach due to licorice... As mentionned above, these past levels have been horrible and have purely relied on luck to be passed. Is it just me or has this game become more and more boring? I stay hoping the next levels will be more fum Having serious doubts. So once again posting for luck
The End for me. I'm not sure why I stayed this long. King will always be a negative trademark in my eyes.

Got it first try after reading this blog (with out any boosters), even though the tips were obvious. Made a stripped wrapped switch, which cleared out a lot of the center. Then was able to make a double CB switch. Last move with one jelly left the day was saved by the fish.
Let your stripes and wraps get down onto the conveyor and then you can line them up UNDER the fish floats and get fish that way. If you try to go from the middle top and try for sideways you won't get through the licorice.

This game Sucks!!!! Every level requires NO skill only luck! So what is the point in playing this game? All you do is move pieces around until you are out of moves....and then....DO IT AGAIN!!! Waiting around for a lucky board,which takes about a week!! And King even reduces moves for each level to make the impossible really NOT doable! Like I said,this game sucks!!!
