Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4262 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4262 Candy Crush saga is classified as a nighmarishly hard level so you will need boosters to pass it unless it is changed since the time of writing these tips.
You have to collect the 4 cherries and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
I would suggest you play a lower level and load up with free boosters if you can, or play for sugar drops for a while and collect as many boosters as you can.
A double colourbomb is a good start if you can get this combo, this will collect the cherries so you can then use the frog to clear jelly later instead of having to use it to collect them.
Once you have cleared the chocolate you can then see what needs to be done, you need to really study the board carefully between moves so you don't miss any chances to make special candies and combos.
Don't waste moves making stripes that won't hit anything, instead clear candy curls or jelly and keep looking for combos as this is the only way you will clear the jelly.
Remember the frog can be used to clear jelly once it is grown and if you place it on top of a multi layer waffle it will clear all the layers, so it can be very useful for this.

I used the colourbomb and stripe/wrap from the Christmas stocking plus a colourbomb of my own from the sugar drops to complete the level.

Thank you Cookie for the tip about using the frog on a waffle. Now that I am getting a new episode every two days (and today for some reason I got two episodes, spaced about 8 hours apart so I am up to 4265). I actually found 4263 harder and used quite a few hammers to finish, but I did need extra moves to finish this level. I’m missing Cookie’s tips now and also the tips from my fellow crushers (I.e. the folks that were the Wednesday Club).
Bear, I am here. I did not get this level even with two cb's but its good to know about the waffles.
I got through up to 4265 somehow and without Cookie’s help. I’m proud of mysellf for that and I’m as far as I can go on iPad. I had the help of build a Bot and some boosters. It was a mostly enjoyable episode. I’m ready for a break so I don’t think I will try to get more episodes through using the buddy challenge/dynamic duo.
Although frog is useful for clearing a multi waffle be aware that it won't clear any jelly underneath it. I ended up having to use a hand switch to move the frog so that I could hammer my last jelly.
Don't get these 'Nightmare' levels. Found lots of previous levels much harder. Needed 5 extra moves for this one though. Colour Bomb + Wrap, my all time favourite.
This level might be my undoing. Nothing works.

Used the full bot with CB/CB combo to start. Couldn’t get close so added the stripe/wrap combo and fish booster from my stash and positioned wraps within curls and waffles and that gave the start that finally led to completion. Fish didn’t help till I got more action and they finally started dropping so work towards the bottom whenever you can.
Seriously beyond tired of super hard levels..all they mean is get more money from our loyal players who have made it to this high level.
Also super tired of updates on the stupid race. Could not care less. Stop this b.s. king and let us enjoy this game and relax not stress out!!!

Beginning last week, for me, on Android phone, the now very rare build a bot booster feature will only accumulate/build on new levels. I can not go back to older levels (i.e. 606) and build that stash. I have to beat the current levels to get a color bomb, et. al. Jeez! I use to be in the Wednesday Club, but some of those 3000 levels burnt me and my booster inventory. Almost back to where I can complete an episode, then collect sugar drops while waiting for the new episode. Lordy! Are we mad? Heather D.
Double chocolate color bomb is the answer after easy
On Ipad, game is updated. Can get sugar drops twice a day, but they do not give the ro bot or any boosters but what comes from sugar dropd. Can not go back to easy levels to collect anything to use on new levels. Cannot go in and out without losing alive and any boosters i might have. No way to ever get double color bombs unless passed level just before or using a booster having earned. Not fair!

Is anyone still able to go back to previous easy levels to collect boosters? I haven't been able to for weeks now.
You need to watch a video other than Cookie’s that starts with two CB. I did and got it right away. For me, as soon as my frog grew, I put it on the licorice between the blocked cherries. Takes care of them immediately. The rest was easy.
No but my friends still have them. Not fair King!
Seriously how many of you enjoy spending day after day bored to death trying to pass a level that is truly rigged to lose well over 200 attempts no strategy no luck Just screen after screen given to u that can’t win no matter what u do This is the most freaken asinine app I’ve ever seen run by truly greedy money hungry people willing to bore their players to death till they pay for boosters well there ain’t no way I’m payimg a bunch of shysters like that That get paid for their greed and willingness to be known as the most dishonest app out there if you all are smart Don’t reward them for their greed

One less move and not all the goodies to be able to do what cookie did. Therefore the tips are useless to me. No bots...no chance to put two color balls together...unfair playing field. Used up my boosters, posting for a lucky board...thank you

Bored, bored, bored, been here for days now, now chance of using dbl cb. When I reached this level late at night, thought I'd tackle it fresh in the morning, planned to use 2 cbs. When I opened app in the morning on my tablet, bot cb booster was gone plus all boosters I had earned, everything wiped why, why, why?? About to give up, King just taking everything away, obviously don't want us to continue playing!
Tough level. I had to watch an ad to get an extra moves spin to work on my third attempt, using all the boosters (I don't get the bot boosters any more, just for completing new levels consecutively). Combinations are the way to go, and if you can save the frog for jelly that is best - I couldn't ever get a double color bomb combination, so I had to use it on the cherries. Is this a new way to play ? Since a week we need 24 hours for a lever ...please do something , it's not pleasant at all
Wow. After reading all the doomsayers comments I can’t believe I passed on my first attempt. Played with a full stocking (and believe me I never play with a full stocking if you know what I mean). Started with a CB/wrap combo. Grew the frog and placed it over the middle licorice (upper left). Had one jelly left and didn’t take a chance so I hammered it.

JanG. The frog needs to be placed on the licorice square between the 4 cherries. The cherries will clear all at once. After that it's only jelly clean up.

another scam level. Gives no incentive to make any purchase when so blatantly rigged. Where King repetitively fails (we know they are deaf) so customer feedback is wasted. Any more than 3 days on a level and I will delete CCS completely
Boring level. Making pointless moves and getting no where. Seriously over these impossible levels;(

I got it on my first try thanks to the booster got from booster bot.
Tip: If you are playing on android device first go sign out of your face book account then go to the daily treat calendar, this will give you an hour of wrapped and striped candy gift then again sign in to your face book account then it will increase the time limit of the reward do this repeatedly and you will get unlimited usage of wrapped and striped candy gift. Also play the bean climbing game then you will get 30 minutes color bomb reward, follow the above step i mention above and you will also get unlimited usage of color bomb. This combined with the reward given by booster bot will help you to clear levels easily.

The way this is going....i think i am heading for day 3. Ridiculous that there is NO WAY you can beat this level without the help of king. They let you struggle just as long as they want. This level wants you to quit cc...bring back the game part please!!!!!
I am done for today...and on the verge of quitting this so called game. What is wrong with you king...do you enjoy coming up with these kind of levels that are impossible to pass? I came this far without NOT buying boosters. But it seems that you want to force people in buying. Good luck with it. Maybe you should try to play this level your self and find out it is not fun at all anymore.👎
Day 3..and i started with the hope of finally get a pass. But no....still can't get near beating this horrible level. Still stuck...it's getting very annoying 😡
I just passed this level after playing 3 days...i will recommend this game to people who have to much zen in their body/mind. I find it ridiculous that you have to play 3 days before king lets you pass. And i had to use 2 lollipops...otherwise i was heading for 4 days. King...you seriously have to look at your "gameplan" because this is absolutely no fun anymore!!!!
I think i have meet the game that will make me end this nonsense. I have played for about 3 days now and see no way out. I have no boosters and refuse to buy fake things to pass. My husband plays a silly game that almost resembles CC and he is constantly getting like hours of free play. I can not remember the last time i received free play.
I am at not enjoying playing for so many days. Maybe time to take a break

I give in getting the cherries no problem but nowhere near clearing the tiles. I'm sure that only a lucky board will clear this but hope it's not to far away

First try but still two jelly left and no boosters except one UFO. I probably should have used it and been done.
Just a thought; to bad we can't ask friends for boosters the same way we ask for lives. I'd share if I had them.

This level is not so much fun but I have said that before. The best I have done is to leave a single hit jelly left. My approach will be focus on the left lower side because that is where I always have jellies left. I hope everyone out there is staying safe, staying at home unless you have to leave. Let's all work this together because it will only take a few to undo the progress that is being made. Not testing positive is a step in the right direction but not being exposed to anyone that may be affected is that first step. Stay safe everybody in Candy Crush land.

I agree with most of the previous posters. A hard level can be fun if there is some strategy involved. This level does not give any opportunity to use strategy. I don't know why I keep trying. It is impossible unless you're one of the players who have bots and other boosters not accessible to the rest of us.
