Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4284 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4284 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect two ingredients and clear the jelly to complete the level.
The ingredients start from the top right and move down through the portal to the bottom right, then up to the top left and the exit.
To get the ingredients to the exit all the blockers and the two popcorns have to be cleared and to help with this there are lots of stripes dropping from dispensers in the main sections of the board. You can't switch the stripes with each other because of the candy canes between them, but you can switch them with normal candies and with other special candies that you make yourself. The aim should be to get as many stripes dropping and detonating as you can. To do this first you need to clear the blockers in the top section so that the stripes can drop and also the bottom section, then the stripes will drop through into the bottom right of the main part of the board.
Use colourbombs, stripes or wraps to get the stripes detonating and keep them going. Don't worry about the chocolate, it will be cleared by the stripes.
The popcorns can't be hit easily from the top right, so forget about them to begin with and as the blockers at the bottom left are cleared by stripes more vertical stripes will drop below the popcorns which will clear them as you play.
The first ingredient will find it's way to the exit as soon as the blockers are cleared but the second one needs to be collected by clearing the candies from the exit columns. The stripes bottom left will do this for you.

Start with side by side wrappers in the bottom left to wipe out as much chocolate as possible. Then focus on getting a vertical stripy in the upper right to align to strike the horizontal stripes on the bottom right.

Had a problem with this level. It started out okay and I managed to clear all the blockers on the right and the three popcorn and got all the jelly but with a few moves left the 2nd ingredient would not drop. I ended up wasting a few hand switches to set some stripes off but it just would not drop. Played the level on my other tablet and it dropped as soon as the cherry was gone. Hope nobody else has that problem.

Did anybody else have the lovely letters replaced by bots? Can only get one at a time, if you don’t pass a new level you lose it. Cannot play old levels to earn boosters. Impossible to pass hard games without boosters. Complained to King but so far no answer.

I couldn't make even one hit on the popcorns. How the heck do we get them out of the way?
We start with 25 moves and are expected to battle 16 multi hit blockers, 4 squares of multi layer chocolate, and 8 squares of licorice.
Since we lost BoosterBot there is no way to start with Boosters unless we have some in our personal stash.
Looks like instead of being stuck on a level for days we'll be stuck for weeks while waiting for a Lucky Board.

Again with the bugs. I had 2 gift wrapped green candies magically change into regular green candies...like "poof"....WTF King? Did all your good programmers retire? Don't you have a debugger? This is unbelievable and even more frustrating. This is the 2nd snafu this morning. I've got to find a new hobby.
WTF? Not one fish took out a low count bomb. Every fucking fish took out a 13 count bomb. I had 3 fish pass up the ones near exploding. You suck King. Fixed level again. There is no skill involved anymore. Just another slot machine and I don't do slots.
Totally impossible. I doubt also with full set of boosters would be possibile to pass it. Ni space dash or stocking available, so this is the end
P.S. of course if you buy around 100 hammers you pass it immediately.. goodbye, idiot kings!
What bombs? I didn't have any? A very tough level though, it took me a good half day to complete. I switched from PC to mobile phone in the end and did it with 5 moves to spare! I can't say that there is a secret, except to hit everything you can down the middle and across the top and hope that the cascades work out for you. I may have used a couple of hand switches as well.
Sorry, but I found this level really nice. Had a free CB from the friendship game and only the normal 25 moves and maybe luck, but also you can see that you improve from attempt to attempt. You must look for combos and open the bottom quick. And then hit the stripes (eg the bottom ones all at once from the top). And then look for nice "cascades" (eg hitting some stripes with a wrap or so to get more reaction on the board). The bigger combos the better. Made it with the last move.

I've only had bot for months and cant get it by going back to previous levels. Its when i quit giving them any money. I didnt mind paying a little for a game i enjoyed but when they took that away I quit paying

another level that can only be beat with a lucky board. posting for such a board. being playing 3 days. grrr
If you reached this point, you don't need strategy anymore just luck. You have to play, play again and again and again….until...wraps, colorbombs and combo's are falling from the sky. Before you even realize ,the level is finished (and sometimes you get bonus moves with the wheel). Almost hard levels are played this way.
Unfortunately for me, the miracle did not happen yet...

Hey Carter, How do you just get 2 wrapped candies side by side? I can't set up my board that way and there is no more reset without losing a life and the boosters. The ability to build a spacebot by playing old levels is gone. It's like King wants everyone to get sick of the game and quit

Impossible level. Shocking.
IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Totally a waste of time. Might be doable if the licorice didn’t keep coming back in the top left. I got it down to 3 one time wasted 10 gold for extra moves. In those five moves I didn’t even get close to hitting one of those jellies. Ho hum just not fun sitting here spinning my wheels. Suggestions anyone? HELP
Hey it’s me again still on this dreadful level. So very boring. I could say this is it for me but I would be lying but this level is ridiculous. I have been playing for at least a week and have never gotten the Cherry and nut in the same game. What gives King. Can you do this in this amount of moves??? Help 🤬🤬
Whilst I can appreciate there is some strategy with this level, you need still a lucky board for the strategy to pay off. So posting for a lucky board.
It’s a hard level, but I did manage to pass only using one candy hammer and the extra 2 moves from watching ads, after a lot of lives lost! The advice to concentrate on freeing up the stripe columns is great. Ignore the chocolate, it will get cleared as you open the stripes up and don’t try and use the right hand column at the top to grow the popcorns. If you just concentrate on doing as many combos in the middle as you can, and setting the stripes off,it does all get cleared. So glad to be past this level.
