Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4496 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4496 Candy Crush Saga is a jelly level and you are going to need a bit of luck to clear it.
You won't have many choices of move to begin with, but you need to get the stripes dropping from the dispensers and use them to unlock the board a little. As soon as the UFO is unlocked use it as it could easily be eaten by the chocolate and lost if you leave it too long and there is no real advantage to saving it. The UFO will usually clear the bombs from each side.
You will need to get cascades going and the best way to do that is to use wrapped candies as much as possible as well as stripe/wrap combos. The bombs can be a problem if you don't get to use the UFO quickly enough so keep your eye on them and try to clear them with stripes if you need to.
The fish are useful but you can't rely on them to clear bombs, however they will be much more useful if you switch them with a stripe or a wrap.
This is not an easy level but it is possible to pass without boosters.

Has anyone else found the problem with the program? I cleared the chocolates by the protals on the right. A bomb and a waffle drops out of one portal and drops into the next and then just keeps repeating. They don't stop and no other moves can be made. I hope King fixes it soon. In the mean time, I lost a life and the boosters I used when I started the game.
This level has glitch..waffles keep dropping right bottom corner ...just keep dropping can't continue game.. You owe me wasted boosters

Would someone please explain to me how to use the Stripe CAndy that is a Booster. I don't know where they came from but there are a couple in my personal stash of Boosters. When I click on it a paintbrush appears and the text says that any candy can be turned into a stripe and the direction of the stripe chosen.
I was stuck at the end of the previous level but would have got it if a Horizontal stripe had hit the candy in the very center + 2 Fish. When I chose the Stripe Booster and clicked where I wanted it to land it appeared as a Vertical Stripe. I needed a Horizontal Stripe but could't figure out how to turn it. Obviously, that Booster was wasted. Any information gratefully accepted. Thanks !
Luckily, I was able to take the color bomb that I inherited from passing the previous level and forming another color bomb next to it, then combined them, which struck the UFO and took out most of the chocolate (with the double color bomb and the UFO) and many of the jelly. I was then able to easily complete the level on my first attempt. Combinations are the key, as are following Cookie's tip of releasing the UFO as soon as you uncover it, as the chocolate could devour it and waste it. Did you ever figure out how to turn the brush to change which direction you wanted the candy to go? I don't know either

I don’t see how this is possible even with my lucky rabbits foot and horseshoe dangling from my nads, even with a “lucky” board.

Should be an easy level? No way. To less moves to get iT done. Is that why There are no players. Play iT sometimes like the other players. After three times i quitt like everyone . The levels become to difficult, So its easy to stop.
I know now why players dropping out. The levels only exist on nightmare levels, not enough moves, no fun only irritating. No one likes to play such kind of games. For me i wont waist my time.
Ask your friend, well, cant ask cause 320 friends dropping out, i,Am the only fool who plays, but not for long.

Why if I am using the UFO in candy box, when I am using the UFO in 4496 they are not adding up? The UFO does not count towards the candy box,
